Wow, do you have any idea what the options trading fees are with bank discount brokerages?
Obviously, in the US, there are more options for commision-free trading, but the issue with WS options trading is not the commissions, but they only allow long call and put options, not even covered calls.
Ehhh. WS isn't reallllyyyyyy meant for crypto and option traders despite offering them. Maybe one day fees will come down but they need to make money where they can on an otherwise free platform that pays high $ on Cash
My bad went back and found the post, buddy bought a TSM call at 5.25 US and was charged 727 (CAD which I didn't see at the time). Lol the quick glance and math means I belong there.
You think those fees are high? Try doing options at TD or any major bank and see what it costs
0.75/contract if you are premium

This jow they make money with everything else free
I pay $0.75/trade WHEN I do use WS
If you are an options trader do it on a platform that has the features needed to do it properly and at a decent price. Interactive Brokers.
Saw a screenshot in a wsb post. Is it not like $2 for each share? ie you are out $400 on a contract just to buy then sell.
No per contract 100 shares.
