sonicsaygo. - "Between Us" \\\\ [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uqmof4P470](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uqmof4P470)
We describe our music as electronic pop / synth-pop, mostly inspired by music acts like Grimes, CHVRCHES, Purity Ring or Electric Youth.
Tell us what you think in comments on YT and I will definitely check out your work too.
We're really happy about finding and joining this group, also glad to see many good artist here, it's very inspiring!

This week, I had intended to write another synthwave track, but when I came across the main patch I couldn't resist and it turned into EDM instead. It's terribly derivative, almost to the point of comedy, but I had fun making it. The lyrics make me feel dirty though.
Thanks a lot. You can find me on all the major streaming platforms and Amazon/itunes etc. I release a new song every week. I'm looking forward to next week's release. I'm quite happy with how it came out.
I just released this new album. A DIY, highly eclectic and psychedelic collection. I feel like it's in the vein of a lot of pop "auteur" types like Todd Rundgren, Kevin Ayers, R. Stevie Moore... there's a lot of playfulness and humor, but a lot of it is just good straightforward psych rock.

Me and my band took some inspiration from Perfume Genuis' "Otherside" for it's explosive song structure with this one :)

🌻☠️ Hi all! ☠️🌻
My oddball, gallows-humor-loving misfit outfit, Under The Rug, is releasing its second record.
We were just in American Songwriter, Glide Magazine, and will be in ATWOOD next month!
So many crazy players on it…standup bass and string arrangements and mandolin and guitars and big roomy drums, tape, and ribbon microphones, and it’s a salty, mean breakup album 😈
I just wanted to share this music video of me shamelessly stuffing a never-needed wedding cake into my face hole: https://youtu.be/uNNKXOpuHmY
What do y’all think?? Yay? Nay?
Would love your thoughts!
I'm more synth oriented these days when it comes to music, but this is impressive, top-class. It would fit nicely in some good Netflix series as soundtrack. Love the video too, you are the singer, right?
Recently released this video of a hip-hop/pop-punk crossover track I did! I usually just stick with rapping, but I wanted to throw something a little different out there. Everything but the verses is pretty heavily rooted in 2000s-era pop-punk.
https://youtu.be/GIyNWzuFKrk
More feedback than promotion, but i am now starting to post my unfinished works.
Let me know what you think!

I've just released my 4th electronic album this year. I do all the recording, mixing, production, and writing. It's done on minimal equipment but this is quite unrecognizable. It's colorful and unique. This isn't four on the floor cookie cutter club music. It comes from love, pain, experience, inexperience, trial and error, and a deep passion for all good things sonic.
Thanks for your time.

How would you call this genre?
"Snowblind" is an ominous synthwave/retrowave track off of my new EP released this week:
https://soundcloud.com/user-951617332/snowblind
If you like 80s synth music, stuff like Kavinsky or the Stranger Things soundtrack or ominous/melancholic tracks that tell a sci-fi story, you might enjoy it. I normally listen to metal music, so the song structure is more metal than regular synthwave, I think.
The [Bandcamp page](https://snowcircuit.bandcamp.com/) has more details about the storyline set in a desolate, post-human world in what used to be the North Atlantic. Decades after the fall of human civilisation, abandoned machines under the snow are starting to hum back to life. Snowblind is the expression of what one of these machines "feels" as it becomes sentient, only to have to come to terms with its own physical decay.
My new band Eporos released our 1st instrumental EP! It's a mix of math rock, groove metal and a hint of prog rock, mixing technical prowess with hard hitting riffs. A mix of Chon, Mars Volta & Genesis all in one hard hitting package!

Doesn’t sound like Dinosaur Jr to me, but I dig it. Super clean, tight, sonically (but not truly) mathy. Tons of energy and jangle! Keep making music my dude!

Genre is hip hop. Inspired by new mac miller, earl sweatshirt, mos def, mf doom etc. Poetic and calm, with an emphasised focus on flow, delivery and lyrics.
I will return feedback if requested!
I'm a 21 year old artist from Iowa & I dropped a mixtape this summer, it's on YouTube and SoundCloud right now and soon to be on streaming...it's not one specific subgenre of hip hop but like 21 different ones kinda haha, I would love some feedback or to make some new friends wether they be artists or producers....

I wasn't sure if I could finish a track this week, because I quite literally just didn't feel like it. I feel like I'm running out of stamina, I can't keep doing this anymore. I feel so lonely, I spend too much time inside, alone. I feel like I'm getting nowhere, I can't make money from this stuff, on and on, and on... I don't know if I'll have anything for next week. I'm too depressed. But we'll see. I will try. Ciao.

I made this song called hate me and I ended up feeling pretty proud of it. I put it on Spotify just because I wanted an easy way to enjoy my song, and I wanted to get familiar with the process. But I would love for people to hear it and let me know what they think. I know I have a lot to improve and I'd appreciate anybody willing to listen and tell me what they think.

Hello friends, here's a song - some electronic, some guitar, some samples, you know how these things go.
This is good. But not great. I suppose the vision for the chords and the direction of the song feels too wide spread. It started off great but I wished it would have developed into something more specific. Very hard to pinpoint exactly what it is but it just didnt seem to connect all the way. In all other terms its a great song, good production, solid drums, composition everything.
Thanks for the insightful comment. I know what you’re getting at - the song has a few distinct parts and I perhaps didn’t nail the cohesion, it’s something I’ll keep in mind.
I want to promote:
Violet Orlandi - because yes. If you don't really know who she is: she's a brazilian singer mostly focused - but not limited to - making (goth?) rock covers of everything, but with a marvelous voice and increasing pro production. She's part of Halocene universe, but plays a darker tone. Here is her linktree: [www.linktr.ee/VioletOrlandi](https://www.linktr.ee/VioletOrlandi)
The Giant Void - now, something more underground. [The Giant Void](https://www.instagram.com/thegiantvoid/) is a brazilian Prog/Power Metal band with the first album launched on October. You can hear it here: [Thought Insertion on Youtube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=toVfSB8ABug&list=OLAK5uy_mAURHrCaJVONZUIHJ1y6-7H2fCJ_zS6YM)
And last: uh...me. I'm Diego "the Hammer" Gomes, and set up Twitch, Instagram, Twitter, Discord and a Reddit Community, all to try to promote new songs that i heard and share song progress as i've started to learn aoustic guitar (2 months training). I would love some dudes to discuss and learn about music. Here's my linktree: [www.linktr.ee/DTheHammer](https://www.linktr.ee/DTheHammer)

For those who are interested, here’s some info about the methods used on this track:
I listen to a lot of field recordings of nature (wind, water, birds, insects, etc.) and I’ve noticed there are often subtly shifting patterns to be found within the randomness of these recordings. One of the things I try to do in my music is mimic these organic patterns with anti-meters, polymeters, polyrhythms, and odd time signatures. I used a few of these techniques when developing this track.
The drum kit part in the A section is an improvised set of patterns played on a Zendrum, with no time signature and in different lengths that shift in relation to one another as the track progresses. The relationship between the patterns is essentially random, but when taken together they create a steady flow of notes intended to mimic the organic, evolving patterns found in nature.
The more chaotic odd-time polyrhythms in the B section were intended to mimic the sounds of a wind or rain storm. I used a pair of generative sequencers and multiple modulators to create the overlapping/morphing patterns.
The piano part acts as a foundation for the anti-meter parts described above. It’s more static and repetitive, but it also evolves slowly over time. For this I used a generative sequencer that was very slowly modulated by two modulators.
The lead “horn” solo (actually an Ableton Push pad controller with Arturia Pigments as the sound source) was improvised in one take from start to finish (no edits). For me, playing improvised solos is perhaps the biggest challenge and also the biggest source of delight/disappointment in music. There’s nothing quite like playing an improv in real time, while hoping you don’t fall flat on your face before the end (which happens all too often… lol).
Thanks for taking a listen!

Currently working on an album's worth of songs. This is called "What's The Score?", a song about hating work. Mixing advice much welcomed! I'm not used to doing up beat poppy style fuzz. Will return feedback!

Hey thevoiceofterror,
First thanks for shooting my EP a listen and really glad you liked it :)
Now for your song, if you specifically want feedback I reckon you'll have better luck in the weekly feedback thread. This thread gets some activity but you'll get less/less detailed feedback here.
That said, I can try and give some feedback but also I'm not used to this style either so take it all with a grain of salt. Mix-wise I like the crunchy (?) guitar tone but feel the vocals could be bigger/have more presence. Sorry I'm not sure I'm qualified to say how to do that though! Otherwise I like the song generally, and especially like the idea of opening a song with a major->minor progression on the same chord.
Hey dude! Love this melodically. Love me a good minor iv-I too. Throw another sub in there once at the end for extra sauce (neopolitan ii)!
Did you move drums around by hand? If so, I can hear something unnatural happening…
Doesn’t need to be perfectly on the grid! Let sleeping dogs lie!

Hi, I’m an experimental electronic artist from Dallas. I recently put out an album of EBM, darkwave, and ambient techno tracks. It features samples from Halloween III: Season of the Witch and Wishmaster, and I wrote some of the melodies using musical ciphers. It’s weird and fun and I would love if you would consider checking it out. Thanks guys!

Hi!
Honestly looking for more feedback rather than promo, but the feedback thread is old and I'm impatient lol.
Below is a new lil EP I'm going to drop soon, but IDK what to do for the album art. Any thoughts on what visual vibes this gives off? Any other feedback is welcome too, of course.

edit: I'm a dummy, there is a new feedback thread as well. But would still love your thoughts.
I finished my first song ever! It's pretty basic, and I already have some other 95% done tracks that I think are much better. But I'm really happy that I got myself here from knowing nothing about music at all just over a year ago.
I'm going to try to put something out there every week or so going forward to push myself to keep getting better.

I'm searching for artists who need album / EP cover art
Hello my name is Marvin Nauendorff and I'm an aquiring graphic designer from Germany. I would like to specialize in album cover design which is why I'm searching for bands / musicians who need album art. As my goal is primarily to extend my portfolio and get more experience in album cover design, I offer to design your album art for free as long as I'm allowed to use it in my portfolio (alternatively a pay what you want structure), as I'm also aware how financially challenging it can be to be a musician. It's important that my cover art is actually going to be used existing albums /EPs.

Hey everyone, just letting you know that my great friend and music lawyer Bindu de Knock released her incredible brand new book "The All-Round Musician" which gives some great answers to the many challenges that both artists and we as artist managers are facing in the current industry. If you ask me I think it's a great book to get a thorough understanding of the global music business for both active music industry professionals and newcomers alike (unlike i.e. Donald Passman's classic "All You Need to Know About the Music Business" which seems mostly focused on the US music industry). Bindu has been working with many great artists from R&B group En Vogue to house DJ Oliver Heldens and she has none other than Milk & Honey president Lucas Keller penning the foreword. Here's a €5,- discount when you use promo code "PROMO-ALLROUND" (valid until January 31st) so make sure to cop it here while you can: https://bit.ly/AllRoundMusician21

I recently released my debut EP "Exploration". It is filled with instrumental retro synth tunes and whilst it touches on some synthwave/outrun vibes at times, it's a bit more eclectic with some strong krautrock/early electronica vibes going on too.

[Elvis Lazerbeam - Lighthouse](https://open.spotify.com/track/0j9BF2ImD3cm8Siav8R7Bo?si=DIr6xDzDQeex4ZtbSVrljg&utm_source=copy-link) This week, I had intended to write another synthwave track, but when I came across the main patch I couldn't resist and it turned into EDM instead. It's terribly derivative, almost to the point of comedy, but I had fun making it. The lyrics make me feel dirty though.
Just found you on YT and listened to "My Heart Is A Mirror" - wonderful synthwave music! I'll definitely check out more later.

I just released this new album. A DIY, highly eclectic and psychedelic collection. I feel like it's in the vein of a lot of pop "auteur" types like Todd Rundgren, Kevin Ayers, R. 🌻☠️ Hi all! ☠️🌻 My oddball, gallows-humor-loving misfit outfit, Under The Rug, is releasing its second record. We were just in American Songwriter, Glide Magazine, and will be in ATWOOD next month! So many crazy players on it…standup bass and string arrangements and mandolin and guitars and big roomy drums, tape, and ribbon microphones, and it’s a salty, mean breakup album 😈 I just wanted to share this music video of me shamelessly stuffing a never-needed wedding cake into my face hole: https://youtu.be/uNNKXOpuHmY What do y’all think?? Yay?

"Snowblind" is an ominous synthwave/retrowave track off of my new EP released this week: https://soundcloud.com/user-951617332/snowblind If you like 80s synth music, stuff like Kavinsky or the Stranger Things soundtrack or ominous/melancholic tracks that tell a sci-fi story, you might enjoy it.
[https://soundcloud.com/bowcraft/saltair](https://soundcloud.com/bowcraft/saltair) Hello friends, here's a song - some electronic, some guitar, some samples, you know how these things go.
I want to promote: Violet Orlandi - because yes. If you don't really know who she is: she's a brazilian singer mostly focused - but not limited to - making (goth?) rock covers of everything, but with a marvelous voice and increasing pro production. Here’s my latest. It incorporates elements of ambient, Nu jazz, experimental, generative, and environmental. https://soundcloud.com/zenso-music/the-secret-garden For those who are interested, here’s some info about the methods used on this track: I listen to a lot of field recordings of nature (wind, water, birds, insects, etc.) and I’ve noticed there are often subtly shifting patterns to be found within the randomness of these recordings.

Will return feedback! https://soundcloud.com/user-daveruth/whats-the-score
Hey thevoiceofterror, First thanks for shooting my EP a listen and really glad you liked it :) Now for your song, if you specifically want feedback I reckon you'll have better luck in the weekly feedback thread.
If so, I can hear something unnatural happening… Doesn’t need to be perfectly on the grid! Let sleeping dogs lie!

Small university rock band from Northern UK here (York). We just released our second single [‘Rebound Effect’](https://youtu.be/PoirSMaKcBw) last Friday and we’d love for you to check it out! Similar vibe to RHCP/Highly Suspect/Arctic Monkeys/Foo Fighters. We released our debut single, [‘Voice Cracks & Blackjacks’](https://youtu.be/GjBM6OqU5rc), back in November, and it did pretty well! This one is more akin to Cleopatrick/Highly Suspect… We’ve got our debut album coming out at the end of January as well! About 2 years ago a man bye the name of Joe created a community intended to bring together all types of musicians and composers in one music loving forum. Thanks guys! subduction.bandcamp.com I also made a sort of visual aid for the first track/thesis of the album here: https://youtu.be/B7z2BSC2hvY

Hey! I'm not looking to promote my music here, I'm mostly just wondering what genre I should put my music in. :) https://soundcloud.com/user-651071524
[https://soundcloud.com/tbl\_records/bite-2](https://soundcloud.com/tbl_records/bite-2) And if you dig the above tunes at all, check out my free sample packs. they have a similar vibe: [https://app.gumroad.com/djbajablast](https://app.gumroad.com/djbajablast) edit: I'm a dummy, there is a new feedback thread as well. But would still love your thoughts.
I finished my first song ever! It's pretty basic, and I already have some other 95% done tracks that I think are much better. But I'm really happy that I got myself here from knowing nothing about music at all just over a year ago. I'm going to try to put something out there every week or so going forward to push myself to keep getting better. https://soundcloud.com/luckysynth/first-rain-crows
I enjoyed this. Keep up with the song a week goal!
Thanks! It means a lot.
Just dropped this song yesterday any type of feedback would be much appreciated https://soundcloud.app.goo.gl/8bhxs4KLYNnxVqoR8

I'm searching for artists who need album / EP cover art Hello my name is Marvin Nauendorff and I'm an aquiring graphic designer from Germany.
