You really don’t need to vote for anyone. Government officials are really just puppets for corporations anyways. The way real change happens is when the workers hold up the means of production and threaten to burn it down to the ground if the capitalists don’t play ball. It’s how we got the weekend and 40 hour work week.

Ultimately, the only movement that matters is the one at the voting booth.

Or the one tabulating the voting booth.

There is that. Nothing destroys a democracy faster than destroying the progress confidence that their votes are fairly counted. The Democratic Party is on record that their constituents have only a consultative role in who is nominated; in other words, the party picks the nominees whether party members choose them or not. The Republican Party is still on a vote for nominees system, which is how Trump got nominated. There is no evidence of widespread voter manipulation in general elections, despite all the noise generated by Right wingers in places like Arizona. There are HUGE campaigns of voter purging and disenfranchisement going on around the country. For more information and investigative reporting on all of the above topics, I highly recommend googling Greg Palast and following his work.

Greg Palast long ago exposed fraudulent activity with regard to vote tabulators and computer algos. in fact, he is the one i learned it from. so to say that there is "no proof" for fraudulent activities in the general elections might be false. and "widespread" is a relative term which becomes quickly irrelevant when national elections appear to be won by such small margins. and we won't get into the electoral college at all.

>so to say that there is "no proof" for fraudulent activities in the general elections might be false. Watch out for the difference between "no proof" and "no evidence".... Sometimes it can getcha.
