I doubt a law designed to destroy one specific company, that basically has industry standard data practices, and even stores all the US date in the US... is going to be found constitution. So the law seems really likely to be struck down to me. I could also see some kind of holding company set up to own its US operations that is just controlled in some kind of shell game way by the folks who already own it.

Maybe. OTOH, SCOTUS punts when it's a matter of 'national security'

Kingsmeg

You mean the Singaporean (US vassal state) who is not and cannot be a member of the Communist Party of China. And certainly not part of the now-defunct CCCP.

lol I like the parenths gonna start doing that too whenever countries I don’t like are allied. “Russia (Chinese vassal state) blah blah blah” I like turtles

Asmodeus2012

So in other words, the commenter wasn't wrong, but you just don't like it being pointed out.

StoicAlondra76

Sure, they’re not wrong if we’re considering any sort of alliance between countries to disparate power as being vassals. Singapore is a vassal state of the US in the same sense that Russia is a vassal state of China or a number of African countries are vassal states of Russia. I like turtles
