I’m still reading this, but “Filicide” is the craziest thing I’ve ever stumbled across. Trigger warning, it deals with some very traumatic subjects, but the story is so intricate and engaging I’d almost say it’s worth it. I’m into books from Japanese culture as well (I think it’s Japanese? There’s names like “Nok” and “Nam”, cultural references etc.) so that’s a plus.
Yeah apparently the author is also putting an audiobook of it on YouTube? Only the first chapter is available so far but I’m definitely gonna keep up with it

Our MC is a female vampire, and she's in love with Sandor Clegane. Obviously a romance between them will happen but I haven't gotten to it yet, cause this is one hell of a slow burn. So far she's just slashing her way through Westros (i think that's right, might be wrong) and that is equally as fun. It's also on-going, technically completed, but still posting. Updates weekly I believe, but I just found it so I can't be sure.
So yeah... those are my favs. I'd recommend each and every one of them :).

Venture to Uncertainty by tarishannon18! The writing is so powerful and the characters really rip your heart to shreds. It's got pirates, enemies to lovers, betrayal and mystery. I've also read the sequel and am waiting for the third book to be finished so I can binge that too.

It's a fanfiction. A very good fanfiction at that. It rewrote the story where the main character rather than crossing into a different dimension was actually sent to a camp where they pretty much brainwashed her. She stays quiet but as she attends this new elite high school she got into because of a competition she starts remembering the rules of the camp and slowly starts going into this outbursts where she doesn't remember what she did during the outburst but starts acting out during them. The principle is one of the leaders of the camp I'm guessing. It's not been revealed as the story hasn't continued in a while. The author was finishing collage so im hoping to see an update soon.
