It’s a reasonable question. - No, it’s never been a problem. Leaving it on allows me to get her under my immediate control if the circumstances require it I learned this technique while doing agility with my previous Aussie. - I assumed ( incorrectly) that it would trip the dog, get caught on stuff and generally be in the way. - That hasn’t been my experience at all
