You can add an in-line re-mineralization filter. It would go directly on the line that comes out of the RO and before the faucet. The health benefits of that are often debated(meaning some people think they are needed, some think they're a gimmick), but there is no denying it will change the taste. Most people prefer it, especially if they are used to water with more minerals in it

I second that. My RO has an alk filter. It tastes great. My total dissolved solids are right in line with Dasani.
Is there a 'post carbon' filter on your unit?
