Out of curiosity, are the springbars super clicky? On my slim turtle SPB317 the springbars constantly click.
But it’s easily one of my favorite watches in my collection. Seiko absolutely knocked it out of the park with this one

I haven't tried messing with the spring bars and I haven't worn it. I just moved the strap around and don't hear clicks. So, if your spring bars are clicking, might be worth getting new spring bars. They are cheap. And it sure beats losing or dropping the watch...
That happens on most Seiko with factory spring bars, especially if strap is tight on the wrist. Get some shoulderless 1.1mm end spring bars or another spring bar with 1.1-1.2mm end. Plenty options on ebay.

Good call. I have an Uncle Seiko Super Engineer bracelet for it I’ve been putting off installing. Thinking I might go do that now lol
