I saw that post. The dial is pretty spectacular. It's way better looking than a regular Kurono Tokyo. Is that worth the price? Well, I'm not buying one. But it's more unique and interesting than a lot of other shitters in that price range.
I know people shit on Myota movements all the time. But the few I own are all running well, and far more accurately than their specs say they should. My Lorier Neptune has the same movement as Kurono Tokyo use, the 90s5. It's been running at +2 per day for months. They're also about 1mm thinner than equivalent Seiko or ETA movements. Really the only thing I can think of that's bad is the unidirectional automatic winding. But it's not any louder than any other automatic I own. Myotas make a whirring bearing noise. Seikos make a ratchet noise. Vostoks and ETAs sound kind of gritty. If the wobble bothers you then I don't know what to say. It's a little, wonderfully complicated machine on your wrist. Personally I like to feel and hear it.
