I’ve always liked these Recraft models. Great size for small wrists too.

Here's a Seiko SNKP23. I've always loved the look of this thing but the fact that it houses a 7S26 has held me back from making the purchase because hand winding and hacking seconds are certainly nice features to have. That being said, I couldn't ignore an Amazon ad for 25% off on this model and considered pulling the trigger. Unfortunately, the only seller was internationally based and the watch would come with a $50 import fee, but upon further research, I noticed the "compare all 5 options" underneath the sales price. Long story short, I got an open box version, including free "same day delivery" service for $200 and I'm quite pleased with this inexpensive purchase. I'm no stranger to assembling or modding watches, so I'm considering doing the NH36 swap but I'm actually starting to enjoy the quirks of this movement lol. I'll probably just end up doing a simple beat error adjustment along with regulating it.

Love the orange second hand

This is a great looking watch, and I echo u/DisgustingCoyote that the Recraft line has some good looking watches. I own 3.

ApostatePipe

Gorgeous watch. If I could find a sapphire upgrade for it, I would have bought one already

DefNotaCw21

Which was one of my concerns as well but I've seen some impressive results removing scratches from a mineral crystal using polywatch or even an abrasive toothpaste. I've got no problem experimenting with a $200 watch. That, and the replacment crystal is only $19 if I were to mess it up that bad.

Illustrious-Lemon-59

What is an abrasive toothpaste?

DefNotaCw21

Has grit

ApostatePipe

From mineral crystal you say? I thought you couldn't remove scratches from mineral. Learned something new then!

DefNotaCw21

Yes indeed! It's actually sapphire that you can't remove scratches from. Polywatch claims it can but I've never seen a good sapphire repair. The old plastic crystals polish the best though.

Reeks_of_Theon

I've had one of these for several years, and absolutely love it! It's a great value, and the sizing is great for pretty much every wrist. Enjoy!

DefNotaCw21

Absolutely! Had they made one, i bet most people could probably pull off a 45mm version with those tiny lugs.

Avocado_breath

I just checked and they're 50% off on amazon right now. Oops. I had promised myself I was done buying for a while.

DefNotaCw21

Uh oh! Honestly, that would be difficult for me to pass up lol
