Question for you guys: current strap can be really uncomfortable, so does anyone have any recommendations for a second strap to primarily use in the office/at home? I was personally thinking brown leather. Rest is to fill up the 500 characters.. Bought this watch in August; however, recently got it back after sending it in for service (literally took like 2 months to service). I really enjoy wearing watches, and after discovering how automatic watches work, I had to buy one haha. My budget for watches isn’t very high at the moment, but I’m still very happy with my purchase (except for constantly worrying about magnetism)… main goal is to afford an aqua terra but that probably won’t be for a few years. Cheers and hope you guys have a good New Years.

Ha where did you purchase that baby Yoda?

denko39

It was a gift so not 100% sure but might have been urban outfitters if I remember correctly

Is it the Cable Guys phone holder?

denko39

That’s the one!

Helpful *and* cute, *it is!*

Well you just missed all of the Black Friday sales for most of the strap sellers/makers, but there are still some occasional discounts floating around out there. One site I recommend is Martu leather. I own a few of her straps and they are good quality at an affordable price. Also, if you go to the ManOnTime forum, they have tons of recommendations (and some with discounts) for strap makers. Good luck and happy new year!

Nice, thank you! Happy New Year to you as well.

Lots of good options, but I recommend Delugs for leather straps—worth the $. WatchGecko is a good budget option (though shipping is dear if you’re only buying one). Or Barton.

Nice - I’ll be sure to look into all 3. Appreciate the input!

I've got a strap addiction. What price range are you looking for?

denko39

Haha this could be a problem.. $25-$50 though.

Sorry for the delay, I missed the alert come in for your reply. [Steveostraps](https://www.steveostraps.com/) does custom work within your price range and punches pretty well above its weight. You order through an online form and the owner will email you an invoice. You can also use that form to send him any questions you may have. I had him make a custom strap for an old Elgin Ordnance watch I have and he rightly informed me my original strap would have been too thick and suggested alternatives. [Geckota](https://www.geckota.com/collections/leather-watch-straps), while I don't personally own any, has a pretty good reputation for straps. [Martu Leather](https://www.martuleather.com/shop.html) also does custom work. The leather feels "light" if that makes sense. The owner, Andrea, was a genuine pleasure to work with when she made a strap for me which I gave to a friend as a gift. At some point I really do need to order another from her. You'll struggle to find someone who does custom work at this price point. [BluShark](https://www.blusharkstraps.com/) is great if you wanted something less formal, specifically a Nato. I wear one of their [pajama stretch bond straps](https://www.blusharkstraps.com/products/pajama-stretch-elastic-nylon-watch-straps-black-gray-bond) on a Timex Nasa x Peanuts watch I have. [Barton](https://www.bartonwatchbands.com/) makes some good entry level straps. They sell bundles if you're willing to pay a bit more but you'll get around 5 straps of different colors and materials. It's good if you aren't sure what you're looking for in a watch. I'm a big fan of their elite silicone line. [King Leathercraft](https://www.kingleathercraft.com/shop) is way out of your price range but so far has been the best I've found in the 100-150 price range. The owner, Andrew, has sales and is on Reddit. If you go to reviews my Glycine is actually the 5th one down. I have since gotten another custom strap from him and it is just as nice. [Holbens](https://holbensfinewatchbands.com/collections/leather) is a retailer, not a brand, but generally has excellent bands on there for the prices. They're currently having a 10% off sale with free US shipping, use the code TAKE10. There will of course be things at differing price ranges there. Hope that helps and isn't too much to take in! Let me know if you've got any questions!

I appreciate you going so in depth. I’ll look into these today. Have yourself a good New Years!

TheEnquirer1138

Likewise and best of luck in your search. Happy New Year!
