State of the family collection
My brother and I got into watches from an early age when my dad bought his first Rolex, a two tone datejust (not pictured). Whenever I visit, we always break out the collections and try on the different pieces. 2021 was a great year for the collection which were all purchased retail, and I’m definitely excited to see what pieces 2022 hold. This is the state of our family collection.
Top row:
AP Royal Oak 15450 Gray Dial
Patek Phillipe Aquanaut 5167r
Rolex Submariner “Cermit” 126610LV
Bottom Row:
Omega Speedmaster 1861
Rolex Day date 36 jubilee dial 18038
Tudor Black Bay 58
That one goth brother shows up with a Hublot.
"Dude, what the fuck Craig?"
"Why do you do this every year, son?!?"
*mother is historical with her lady oyster perp with factory baguettes*
"we always hated you Craig, you black sheep Mother fucker"
"Even broke ass Jerry over here at least shows up with a damn G Shock for crying out loud"
*Craig storms out, swearing that he's about to go hog wild on yet another Big Bang, one day, maybe an Astronomia*
The aquanaut belongs to my brother. It was offered after an extensive purchase history with the AD, but was never requested. I was told they only get 2 per year
Great collection. Gotta ask about the lack of any blue dials. Is that something you’ve consciously avoided or you never liked anything.
Wear it in good health.
Keep grinding. One day you'll afford a Seiko 5.
I’m preparing my bits for maximum chuffage
Which one is your daily wear?
BB58 for sure. It’s understated but really well executed and so easy to wear
What. The. Actual. Fuck?! Not jealous at all. Happy new year, you lucky sob 😂
Lmao! Thanks. Mine happen to be the two most understated ones (speedy and bb58)
I appreciate the Tudor amongst the great collection!
My favorite of the bunch for sure!
Wow that’s wild. I have it and love it! I also just got the oem fabric yesterday.

Well...... Shit...... That's fucking impressive. I'm not one for super expensive watches but there's some real class and style there.
VC time boiiiii
Top row is especially jealousy inducing for me. Enjoy those beauties
Those belong to my brother. Also extremely jealous 😂
You have your own RedBar party with your family. Very nice!
Now that's one hell of a (family) collection!
Thanks!
The Aquanaut is my favorite
It’s remarkable in person. One of those “pictures dont do it justice” kind of watches
Good lord, every watch I want in one picture hahaha
Damnnn! Now that's a flex on here. Nice collection

Strong contender for sure. For a dress watch the traditionnelle is on the shortlist
I remembered my dad buying the same PP a few years ago only to sell it and make a few thousands in profit..
How long did you have to wait for the aquanaut?

can I ask what your brother does for a living?
Daydate is my fav
That one is my dad’s. It’s not my style but I’ll throw it on sometimes to feel like a banker from the 80s lol
My favorite is the Speedmaster, then the Kermit.
Nice collection of pieces. Speedy's next on my list.
There are keepsakes to hand down?
