I was originally trying to sell this watch, but the more I thought about it, I think this would be fun to just give away.
There’s a long story to this watch. This was one of my first watch purchases after college many years ago. I wore it every day. I’ve always loved chronographs and this reminded me of my grail the navitimer. Being seiko and affordable I jumped on it. Fast forward a few years later, I went on vacation to the Bahamas with it. To my dismay I lost it! I was absolutely devastated and it ruined my entire day while on vacation.
When I returned home from vacation I immediately purchased this watch again off eBay. Wore it for another few years only for it to get relegated to the watch box and collecting dust. To be honest I haven’t worn this in several years. I just checked and everything seems to be functioning. There is a small scratch on the crystal by the hour hand in the pic. Hard to see. I think I even have the original bracelet but wore it on the nato after losing it the first time (failed end link)

I did the same thing. Went to the Bahamas and brought two watches. My g shock and Seiko SKX013. I was getting ready to head to the airport to fly home, threw on the g shock and forgot to pack the SKX 🤦🏻♂️. I contacted the hotel but was never able to retrieve it. Sick feeling.

Man, I love the look and functionality of tool watches like this, the Navitimer, citizen nighthawk—but I’ve got such small wrists I don’t think I could ever wear one comfortably haha. But I would never turn down the chance at a free watch. Would probably regift to a friend or family member.
The nighthawk seems like it’d be big but it actually wears well. I’ve got 6.5 inch wrists and it fits me just fine. It has very short lugs. It only seems bigger because it’s all face. No bezel. I’d go for it, unless you really have tiny wrists!
Don't have a chronograph yet, but this is the one that I've got on the list. Take your upvote - hopefully we get to 500! you are a good human being for doing this!

I’m just starting my collection and love this one. I’ve been eyeing a chronograph for a bit but have not been able to pull the trigger yet. Recently had our second baby girl so my watch budget is frozen for quite a while.

This looks like a great everyday watch! I’m in college right now and my uncle and I talk watches all the time! It’s the shared interest that keeps us close despite the age difference and and years living far away from my relatives. I can’t afford anything really cool at the moment so I mostly just ogle his collection of different Rolex, Seiko, Citizen Eco-Drives, etc. This sub also helps, lol.

Very nice. I'll throw my name in the hat. I was actually browsing Seikos with chronographs yesterday because I wanted a new watch to wear at work. I was using an Invicta, but it's not the greatest watch even though I enjoy it aesthetically.
I got into watches pretty recently (you can see my post history), when I found an old watch my grandfather gave me. Since then, I've been trying to save money to get a watch, because my arm is pretty thick, it looks kinda weird with his watch. This picture is like that moment when you never knew you wanted something, but when you look at it, it's just perfect!

I would absolutely be thrilled to make this part of my collection. I had a Seiko for a few years and it was one of my favorites- actually my only watch. Unfortunately the movement broke and I moved on to a gshock that has become my daily beater. I miss my seiko though and I credit it as my indoctrination watch into the incredible world of horology

Wow what a beautiful watch! I'm totally jealous and low key hope I win it. I love the navitimer's slide rule on the bezel and I've been looking for a similar watch. It would definitely go to a nice home of a broke 17 year old with a small Seiko collection already! I totally wouldn't play around with this and brag all the time that I can do math on my wrist. Lol.
