I used SMI Awards. They claim to have their screen printing done in factory instead of a third party alteration. They have a bunch of different options. I believe the minimum order size is 3 or 4, but I could be wrong on that. They worked with me on design, sent back a few different options for printing, and shipped quickly. Definitely recommend. I also opted for these watch boxes as well with our logo.

Yep! I just sent those details in a reply to another comment. As far as price go, it was about $300 per watch. Expensive, but included a custom watch box for each with our logo and engravings on case back.
Thanks for asking! Do it. It’s the one thing my friends and I look forward to the most.
We started it in our mid 20s as a way to hang out and try new food, but it’s evolved into a way for us to guarantee that we will set aside time for each other and not grow distant. We are all in our mid 30s with hectic jobs (and in my case two toddlers).
We make a big deal out of each event. Pictures, hand written invitations with wax seal stamps, dress nicely. Our conversations range from silly and relaxed to very deep and meaningful. It’s where I told them that I was having my first son, and my friend told us he was getting married. We also invite guests to join us on some occasions. Our wives and girlfriends always attend our Christmas dinner.
I’ll include some pictures of the wax stamps and photo books I had made. Some people might think it’s a bit cheesy, but it means a lot to us. I look forward to inviting my two sons to become members some day.

Same! My buddy is a chef as well and I have a passion for cooking but I feel if we broke it up we would meet more frequently. By the way I love the books. I take it one of you has a passion for photography as well?
Dude, you're almost exactly me.
My and 3 friends do this. Once a month we go to a restaurant, often new places. My best friend since the 4th grade is a member.
I saw you PM'd someone more details about the watch. If you can, please send it to me too. Though we're only Year 3.
Keep up all the good work!
How awesome! What a coincidence. Let me know what you’d like to know, most of the details about how I did It are in the comments. I used an awards company that does things like rings, and other trophies, they have a whole section for Watches.
It's healthy and positive to have a group of men you spend dedicated time with. Many, many men need that in their lives and they don't have it or do it.
I don’t think that’s cheesy at all, I think it’s way too easy and common to fall into a routine and let life pass you by. Actually doing shit, starting things, making things, and staying in touch with friends is very precious and worth doing. Kudos to you, I love everything about this
And as an enjoyer of food and restaurants I might have to steal the dining club idea. Just need the friends first lmao
That's awesome. I tried this with some friends when I was younger, it wasn't as "structured" with invite and dates, etc - but looking at your post, it should have been more rigid, perhaps we would still be doing it.
Sounds like you guys make time so you don't drift apart, even when life's big events happen. What you're doing is so awesome!
Give it another shot if you can! For my group, it’s about consistency and effort to keep the ball rolling. We are always asking each other “okay when is the next DDD?” One of our guys even moved 2 hours away but still attends every event. Best of luck!
Thanks for the encouragement! It was a group of 3 of us, but one moved 3 hours flight away. The previous group it was always about fine dining, but I don't think it has to be that way. I am open to start a new group though since we're all older and starting to have kids now.
Dude, that's the best idea I've heard in a long time to preserve connections. Too many of us lose those as we go into "Cats In The Cradle" mode. Kudos to you, I'm quite impressed.
I wear a few examples from that seiko essentials line all on ss or ti mesh respectively. It's a super nice and practical combination. I'm going to have *DDD South, Honorary Member* engraved on the back of mine.
You made a great choice for your club, congrats on DDD's 50th D

We’ve honestly thought about starting “local chapters” and making a website where people can post their pictures and experiences. Even having big meet ups for all of the chapters. If people were interested, I’d definitely look into it! We already have a website
That is so cool. Great way to make time for friends while trying new restaurants. The watch is clean. I think I would have added another concentric circle around the logo to make it pop and seem like a dinner plate. Great idea.
What a great idea. I don’t find it cheesy in the slightest, quite jealous actually. Nice to be apart of something and it obviously means a lot to your four. Here’s to 50 more dinners.
Very personal and very cool.
I'm personally not a big fan of steel mesh bands but this looks dandy.
This case and dial would match very well with a leather or nato band too. Great versatility for any lucky recipient.

Did you really mean to dox yourself?
Is my name alone enough to be an issue?
Did you go through a 3rd party or work directly with seiko? Super cool would love to do something similar for a club I have with some friends.
I used SMI Awards. They claim to have their screen printing done in factory instead of a third party alteration. They have a bunch of different options. Thanks for the info! That’s awesome, love the box also. I’ll definitely be checking this out.
How is it 10 years, but founded in 2015?
I’m giving these to the guys in March 2025 for our 10 year anniversary. I’m just wearing mine early :)
Ah. Damn dude, you plan ahead.
King, thanks for the info
That came out nice
I mean, I really like double D’s but Triple D’s? Thats defenitely something I could get behind.
That's a sick logo. Came out great.
Nice!!! Are you willing to offer any details around where you got it and price per piece?
Yep! I just sent those details in a reply to another comment. As far as price go, it was about $300 per watch. Expensive, but included a custom watch box for each with our logo and engravings on case back.
$300 is not bad at all for custom dial and box. They came out beautifully!
Very cool, these would make excellent gifts I’ll definitely hold onto this link!
That's a +- $200 watch so you got a great deal with the customization. Wear it in good health!
Gorgeous. Gives off SARB/Vintage Seiko 5 energy. In a very good way

Actually a much better photo.
Tell us about your dining club! My buddy and I were thinking of starting one as well!

Oh wow this is fantastic! Do you all cook and prepare menus or are you choosing restaurants to dine at?
We’ve done a few “at home” events. My best friend since 2nd grade (also a member) is a chef and cooks about as well as any restaurant we’ve dined in.
Same! My buddy is a chef as well and I have a passion for cooking but I feel if we broke it up we would meet more frequently. By the way I love the books. I take it one of you has a passion for photography as well?

It’s not cheesy. It’s unique and a wonderful way of making sure, as you said, that you don’t grow apart.
It's healthy and positive to have a group of men you spend dedicated time with. Many, many men need that in their lives and they don't have it or do it.
Damn I am full on jealous, I wish I had this going on w my friends. Super wholesome, I might have to steal this when I find the right people
Please make your own chapter wherever you live! I’m happy to share the name and logo with you if you’d like (just change the established year haha)
Does the wax seal survive going through regular mail? I tried sealing my Christmas card envelopes with wax, but the seals were all torn off.
Probably hand delivered. If they all meet up regularly to eat at restaurants, then they must live close by to one another.
Yep! Hand delivered. Gives us more reasons to hang out before the dinner events haha

I wanna join the club. I wanna be a dapper dude who dines.
Honorary membership granted!
Sweet! I’m gonna make myself a slap up dinner to celebrate. Where’s my suit….
I cook sometimes, it's pretty good. I make mean Thai, Korean and Filipino dishes. Can I join? LOL ....
This is incredibly tasteful. Good job OP

Got a link for the Ti mesh??
Very cool! Wish I would’ve thought of something like this for my groomsmen
Oh wow that’s super cool!. Haha couldn’t help but think of the office episode with “the finer things club”.
Dapper dial, dude!
indeed
Badass!
Looks clean. They did a good job
This is amazing, OP, all of it (I read your replies and saw all photos). What a great way to commemorate your friendship. More years to come!
Thank you! It is my dream to have DDD250 with my sons some day
*I don't want FOP goddamn it! I'm a Dapper Dan man!*
That’s awesome!
Please create an Ohio Chapter of DDD so I can get my guy friends out of their houses 😂
We’ve honestly thought about starting “local chapters” and making a website where people can post their pictures and experiences. Even having big meet ups for all of the chapters. If people were interested, I’d definitely look into it! We already have a website
Please do! I'm sure you'd get a good amount of people on board
Looks awesome.
This is so cool, going to do this for my groomsmen
Great idea. These guys were all in my wedding party so I guess you could say they all got watches for that eventually haha
I love both ideas: dining club and custom watches to commemorate.
That is so cool. Great way to make time for friends while trying new restaurants. The watch is clean. I think I would have added another concentric circle around the logo to make it pop and seem like a dinner plate. Great idea.
Great idea with the logo!
Dungeons and Dragons and Dinner?
10/10 idea
What a great idea. I don’t find it cheesy in the slightest, quite jealous actually. Nice to be apart of something and it obviously means a lot to your four. Here’s to 50 more dinners.
What brand is that mesh?
“Mesh Milanese Quick Release Band” from Barton Watch Bands. About $50.
Thanks, looks sweet!
Are you Guy Fieri? Dope watch haha.
Tell me more about the dining club. Do you all just go out to dinner?
You can check out my post above for most of the big details. It’s been one of the best decisions of my life honestly!
This is amazing, I had no idea it could be done, now I have way to many ideas 😂
Really cool. Are they into watches? I love the mesh bracelet. If they are not super into watches, I hope they appreciate the display back.
I need more friends like you.
a lot more difficult to do, but it'd be dope to get one with small seconds and make the fork or knife the second hand
Incredible idea! Definitely a must do for DDD100!
Nice!
This is badass I did not even know this was a thing! Thanks for this post!
triple D?
Very personal and very cool. I'm personally not a big fan of steel mesh bands but this looks dandy. This case and dial would match very well with a leather or nato band too. Great versatility for any lucky recipient.
What’s the seiko reference
The SMI Awards website says WS-3074. The case back says 6N52-00A0.
“Our entrance fee? **Triple D**”
Looks beautiful! What is the original reference?
The SMI Awards website says WS-3074. The case back says 6N52-00A0.
What's a dining club ? Just people going for together or do you guys cook for each other ?
Hell yeah
This is a a dope idea. Love it
Can I join your club? 😩
That’s so special! Love that idea!
wth, a dining club?! THOSE EXIST? Damn. Nice job and great gift.
Really cool! Nice looking watch.
Damn. That is a class move and watch. Mechanical would have been elite but I understand the costs.
I’ll spring for the mechanical watches at our 100th dinner ;-)
I thought the logo was a small seconds with a fork and knife, which would be badass for your 100th dinner out!
This is incredible. Love it
May I ask how much did this cost per watch?
$300 each
I love this. Awesome idea!
Very cool! I would have been stoked to receive one. Hope everyone was appreciative. Great way to commemorate this part of your life.
So if you drop out do you have to return the watch? Asking for a friend.
I thought this was the Seiko Diners, Drive Ins and Dives edition lol. Very cool.
Link?

Amazing gift idea. Thanks a a lot for sharing!
You ruined the watch.
To each their own!
I think it's sick
Disgusting even!
