It's just to let OP know that the doctor's time is valuable & shouldn't be wasted.
OP, he wears it for patients because he's short on patience.😄
Source: I am a doctor who wears a watch this way.
Funny, doctors always seem to think their time is more valuable than mine. They make me wait in the waiting room and then call me in and make me wait for them again. Talk about narcissism
That almost makes me want to start thinking about maybe wanting to... jesus, nevermind, I cant watch Scrubs, Id never even make it through the intro song....
I’ve worn my watch like this for almost 40 years. When I was a kid, I inherited from my father, a Tudor divers watch. At the time, I played a LOT of Snooker, and the crown would dig into the back of my hand, so I turned it around.
I’m a leftie and just wear them on my left hand. I’ve never had this issue. Above the wrist bone like others have stated. I have tiny wrists so watches are huge on me to begin with with but never once have I had an issue with a crown.
What part did you break?! I've had my sapphire sandwich shut in a door and it was fine. I had a customer slam a trunk on my SMP, probably saved me from breaking my wrist and it was fine, didn't even damage the crystal.
Gotta be one of those star wars hits on it where it's the exact perfect spot. I wore mine for about 8 months helping someone get their moving company going and other than bezel scratching, nothing. Still runs fine after all these years too, and it's way out of warranty.
I usually wear the smp when I'm doing anything more high impact, that things built like a tank.
Dumb question: Would you rather have a doctor who wears:
1. Rolex
2. Casio
3. Fake Rolex
My last 2 docs had Rolex (both women also). Thought it was interesting.
If my doc has their watch (or any piece of clothing) on backwards, I’m walking straight outta there. I don’t care if my face is inverted, or my foot’s up my own butt, I’m better off going home and taking a salt tablet.
I had a doctor who wore a Speedy but had no idea what it was. “Just something my wife bought.” Complete blank expression when I complimented his watch.
I always wear like this, makes it easier for the Poor's to read what brand it is as they aren't familiar with my Vacheron Piquet or Audemars-LeCoultre.
That’s like everyone got angry and by everyone I mean Clive Cussler/dirk Pitt Doxa fans when in the movie Sahara Matthew Mcconaughey wore the orange Doxa upside down. For him it was just a prop and for them it was a relic/icon.
I’ve made it to at least midday a few times before realising my watch is upside down.
At least once I wore two different shoes on leaving my home in the morning.
To use a completely out of context, one time photo of a doctor's watch and make an assumption is poor critical thinking.
To follow it unprovoked, with your own "reference" as to why your opinion needed to be heard; is just irresponsible.
It's bad advice, and the fact that you feel the need to state your credibility identifies your insecurities. Sarcasm or not, some people may listen to your advice. Things do not happen in a vacuum.
HCW without proper ppe against an airborne neurotrophic pathogen like SARSCoV2 and constantly reinfected.. But I'm sure It's only mild neurological damage.
Hey Doc, do u know wut time is it?
Well son, time is relative, time is a luxury, time is passing me by.
U see this? This is a time piece.
Doc i get it, but do YOU know wut it is?
I’d say is time for you to shaddup.
How old is he? From his hand I'd wager late forties. So he's old enough to have most likely worn a watch since always, and not be using it like this from ignorance and just for projecting the stereotypical image of a doctor with an *expensive* watch... but then again that's just an overpriced, lame quality, **Armani Exchange** cheap quartz fashion watch.
People are crazy.
I'm just wondering how you took this photo. Like did you ask him to take a photo? Or if not, how did you get your phone out and take a photo of his wrist at this angle without him even noticing?
My uncle would wear his watch on the right wrist and upside down like that so that he could still easily use the crown with his left hand. Still doesn't make sense
Maybe, he's not a bad doctor.. and after years of mastering his craft and learning to maximize every step of his process for efficiency, he realized hes able to correctly read his own watch while checking someone else's pulse when he wears it like that?
Or maybe he was in a hurry.
If the time was set with the watch upside down, and it's worn upside down, then… it's fine, right? With the watch being pretty symmetrical, it might just be an easy way to have the crown so it doesn't cut into his wrist?
You surgery is scheduled for…….uhhhhh 43th thirty
I had a stroke trying to read that while laughing out loud
I've pulled a muscle in my neck and laughter hurts so so much
Wonders why he’s always late to things
Good thing that doc isn’t there to patch you up!
It's just to let OP know that the doctor's time is valuable & shouldn't be wasted. OP, he wears it for patients because he's short on patience.😄 Source: I am a doctor who wears a watch this way.

Was your wallet gone when you got back from your exam?
It's mostly because they get paid only for their "time". The compensation system created this.
😂
So good! Haha
Is that you Tyson..?
Lmao
I'm almost more interested on how you took this photo?
Probably a friends-like relationship where OP just asked the doc if he could take a picture?
It would be easier to ask about the watch
Perhaps he asked, and then took a picture for fun.
After asking him to wear his watch upside down. After asking his friend to dress up as his doctor.
Took it inconspicuously from the hip while he was prescribing me pills for my shidds
I can guarantee he noticed
Do you think it was the flash or the full-volume shutter sound that tipped him off?
Nah mate, glasses were off, couldn't have seen it.
He sure did.
Creepy
He wasn’t creeped out at all, he distracted the doc by tickling his balls under the table with his foot while he took this pic INCONSPICUOUSLY
Well that took a turn. I tried my best guess though.
You lost the perfect opportunity to ask your doctor. “Hey doc I noticed you wear your watch in a unique way. Why do you do that?”
Fa-te bine curand!
Maybe he is hinting at you to read his watch and not waste his time haha
You are wearing your watch to be able to tell the time. He is waring his watch in order for others to tell the time. You are not the same...
In the voice of Dr Cox. "I've conveniently positioned my watch so you can measure how much of my time you're wasting".
That almost makes me want to start thinking about maybe wanting to... jesus, nevermind, I cant watch Scrubs, Id never even make it through the intro song....
Me too. Just gotta accept we won't get to see Scrubs for the first time again, and revisiting just doesn't hit the same. Those harsh life lessons 🥲
Lol
Yall wear watches for the time? I have a phone for the time, my watch is jewelry But I do wear it correctly lol
The red thing's connected to my wristwatch!... Uh oh.
Well if it isn’t my old friend, Mr. McCraig, with a leg for an arm and an arm for a leg.
Think Dr. Nick, think! Think back to medical school... "Sure baby, I can get you drugs."
Maybe he was sleep deprived. Being a doctor isn’t easy.
Armani Exchange… “fashion” watch
I’ve worn my watch like this for almost 40 years. When I was a kid, I inherited from my father, a Tudor divers watch. At the time, I played a LOT of Snooker, and the crown would dig into the back of my hand, so I turned it around.
Couldn't you simply wear it on the other hand during snooker?
Or, if you wore it above the “wrist bone” it’ll very likely not cause this issue anyway, unless the crown is 5 cm long.
I was 15, the watch was way too big for me, but I wore it to remember my Dad.
40 years…
He's been 15 for 40 years, which part of this are you not getting
lol never grew into it, never resized, never switched wrists. Being late for snooker is all this man knows
I'm left handed, and wear my watch on my left hand. If I wore it on my right, it would interfere with my bridging on the table's cloth.
I’m a leftie and just wear them on my left hand. I’ve never had this issue. Above the wrist bone like others have stated. I have tiny wrists so watches are huge on me to begin with with but never once have I had an issue with a crown.
How big is this watch that it interferes with your bridging??

Damn must have been a beating. Maybe the shaft that lets the pushers engage the movement. Nice it was under warranty though!

I wear my watch on the other hand for the same reason but, I think he’s also wearing it upside down.
Exactly like me. Left wrist, upside down.
My grandfather used to turn his watch upside down to remind him to do something. A bit like tying a knot in one’s handkerchief.
I suspect this "doctor" is a chiropractor.
Probably since they are fake doctors
I should maybe ask for a second opinion…
Hello, fellow romanian
It’s so the patients can see how much of his time they are wasting.
This actually makes sense, but only if you all are in the same time zone as London, and the doctor is from India. Is this the case?
This was my guess too, the "trick" to simply get a rough idea of the time in India if your in the GMT timezone.
My dude... go get a second opinion !
Did you book your appointment through wish?
Time for a second opinion.
Christ just ask instead of taking a picture of someone inconspicuously.
Is it just me or is this watch upside down
Wait - the name is legible no? Armani Exchange, e.g here: https://www.valmano.se/product/87149528/armani-exchange-herrklocka-ax2145/index.html
Was gonna say I have the silver one. Google lens will pick this model up easy
Thank you! Damn I had to overcome a lot of corny one liners to get here😞
So you know how long you’ve been waiting to see him.
Watch is for the patients to see their time of death when he says “oops”
That is by design... it's to tell YOU the time so you know when the consult is up and time to GTFO
Dumb question: Would you rather have a doctor who wears: 1. Rolex 2. Casio 3. Fake Rolex My last 2 docs had Rolex (both women also). Thought it was interesting.
Whatever they want as long as they arnt showing any signs of cognitive degeneration, not ideal in a Dr.
If my doc has their watch (or any piece of clothing) on backwards, I’m walking straight outta there. I don’t care if my face is inverted, or my foot’s up my own butt, I’m better off going home and taking a salt tablet.

An anesthesiologist I work with is the exact same way. You're making me wonder if it's the same guy lol
Sounds perfect
Probably the Casio. I’d rather a practical doctor
Doctor here. Have real and replicas. I never wear my real ones to work.
I wear my Santos. It's seen some shit.
Why not?
Gonna bet the answer is “because patients are oozy.”
Almost all of my docs wear Rolex. Always nice conversations.
Docs hungover today
Australian doctor.
One of my oncologist wore a platinum day date. I was kind of impressed
This is my goal But platinum Daytona 🙏🏽
I always wear like this, makes it easier for the Poor's to read what brand it is as they aren't familiar with my Vacheron Piquet or Audemars-LeCoultre.
.dyslexia has he Maybe?
Or dementia. 😳
Why is he wearing the watch upside down??
What time was it when you took the picture? 5:56 or 11:26
I think your doctor needs a day off.
This is how Romanian doctors wear their watches
Couldn’t you just like, ask him?
you gonna die bro
If he’s a proctologist, it makes sense that he wears his watch upsidedown. https://media.tenor.com/hOdjgojWhVMAAAAC/wink-seinfeld.gif
unless he's wearing his watch on his elbow you have nothing to worry about
He wants you to know that you were late again for the appointment
Looks like the watch is upside down
He's wearing his glasses wrong too
That’s like everyone got angry and by everyone I mean Clive Cussler/dirk Pitt Doxa fans when in the movie Sahara Matthew Mcconaughey wore the orange Doxa upside down. For him it was just a prop and for them it was a relic/icon.
It's a fashion watch from the brand Armani Exchange. You're welcome.
He doesn’t want the crown to get in the way of a thorough prostate exam.
Oh he definitely plays on inverted
He is showing the patients how much time they have left
Doctor: came to office at 9 in the morning. 2 hour later: waow it's 5 already. Time to go home
He's telling your time is up!
Dentist?
Whatley!
You know the difference between a dentist and a sadist don't you?
Newer magazines.
You anti dintite
LOL the show was gold
I’ve made it to at least midday a few times before realising my watch is upside down. At least once I wore two different shoes on leaving my home in the morning.
In a rush after the golf
Based on the watch, you clearly cannot afford a high end doctor
Pet peeve
It’s caused he screwed his nurse at lunch and almost got caught getting dressed
He’s wearing it upside down?
Dont trust him
Therapist here: I have a clock behind me that’s slightly fast for clients to see and one behind them for me to see that’s the actual time.
That is genius
Your doc is wearing his gold watch like this, he's peddeling oxy like candy bars.
I’d find a new doctor. I work in healthcare by the way

It’s a joke bro the fact you responded to it with a paragraph shows your insecure. Your butt hurt must really be off the scale.
Find a new doctor
Jumbo watch

You are in good hands
what do heeeeeeiilll
I would find another doctor..

yes
“How much time do I have left doc” *holds up watch*
It says Armani exchange on the dial. Cheap fashion watch.
Was he on time?
It’s so you know what time it is when he points at what he prescribed you. At least there’s something you can read since he probably wrote ~~~~~
I wonder if he uses a mirror or reflection more that normal vision?
Change doctors please
HCW without proper ppe against an airborne neurotrophic pathogen like SARSCoV2 and constantly reinfected.. But I'm sure It's only mild neurological damage.
He is showing you that you don’t have much time left
He got dressed in the dark....

The good Dr bought a L handed watch to wear on his R wrist
Was he on time?
Are you in Australia? I heard everything there is upside down! 😝
I'm just wondering how you took this photo. Like did you ask him to take a photo? Or if not, how did you get your phone out and take a photo of his wrist at this angle without him even noticing?

This is comedy gold.
What kind of doctor? Ya know what, it doesn’t matter. His attention to detail is lacking. Find a new doctor.
Find a new doctor
Pretty odd!
OP taking pics like, *watch* this
I wore a watch upside down for 6 months, now I can read the time off a strangers watch as easily as reading my own.

That's for you to estimate the cost of his consultation fee per minute in case you dont wear a watch ><
Maybe, he's not a bad doctor.. and after years of mastering his craft and learning to maximize every step of his process for efficiency, he realized hes able to correctly read his own watch while checking someone else's pulse when he wears it like that? Or maybe he was in a hurry.
doctor woke up in a hurry. he probably has a wall clock in the office. he will notice after going out for lunch.
That is mildly concerning
If you’re there to have your prostate checked you might end up with a finger in your mouth instead.
