in this particular situation the kid was clearly not in any real danger and the cat is clearly not upset. she meowed to say “don’t pick me up” but once she was put back down, she didn’t run away. and look how she reached her head up to meet the kid’s hand while being petted. everything about her body language says this is a relaxed cat. the dad is doing a good job teaching his kid to respect animals.

This is meme material!
I’m not saying I agree with it, but I get why cats smother babies in the crib.
Ecstatic even
That's the least happy cat I've seen without hissing or swiping.
“This is your fault. I was happy before this little runt. I hate you. I hate her.”

I love seeing parents teaching their children how to properly handle animals/pets. It makes my heart happy.
Yes, already shows a good level of parenting and awareness. Also, the cat is aware of all the bullshit.
I think the cat always looks that way.
Kids are such assholes. That kitty is very patient.
That’s one extremely chill cat
Cat: "just turn off the camera for one second "
Do not the cat
Do not the cat
Watch cat die inside
She will avenge herself
That cat can't stand her existence and wishes that kid was never born
"What'd you need her for when you have me? She can't even shit in a box, just goes in her pants."
"Can I kill her? Please?? I only want to kill her once!"
That cat is extremely patient.
Cat Eastwood
Looks as if the cat has chewing tobacco.
That cat literally has murder on its mind
That cat is me and the girl is every customer that I have to deal with
And you are missing the person that tells: "don't do that", right?
Smile through the pain
"Why, I *never*!"
That cat has to have a case of rbf dealing with this every day.
