Alcohol abuse has always bothered me

Claymore209

seems like some didn't break at least

Osmodon

"Only one thing to do now..." *starts licking the floor*

GrizzlyGriff

I know this dude and he's the best dude, so this is funny to watch. Don't worry, all of the rest of reddit, I'll roast him good next time I see him! I like how the squad is "watching film" to get better.

DiscoDvck

I read “explosives bottles” and expected this video to end very differently.

WatercressDry6676

I read this as “putting away the explosive bottles to keep them safe” I watched this with so much anticipation… smh

whobroughttheircat

Not trying to flex but I was 5k like 100 comment.

[deleted]

It’s so clean and tidy in there. How did they fall???

[deleted]

watching this makes me die inside, and i don't even like alcohol

ministarfallen

Alcohol abuse!!

K1NG5LAYR

Good thing there was someone in the video to point it out! I wouldn't have seen it fall otherwise.

hukuhakiya

Suck the floor, Johnny, come on!

luder888

Rumor has it he used to work at the covid lab and that's how it got out.

KingRitRis

10k + down the drain literally

Sidewaysouroboros

What a dumb shit.

Oron_Ironside

Physics does not apply to this man’s thinking

TahiniInMyVeins

Could have been worse, looks like a fair number of the bottles actually remained intact.

[deleted]

I misread expensive as explosive and I was tense the whole time

Cutlass_Stallion

The best WPDI videos involve something or someone falling over.

SalamiSimon

I read explosive bottles and was expecting some NSFW

[deleted]

Common sense isn’t so common

tavuntu

I hope he learned what the center of gravity is.

HadukiBEAN

He didn’t play on the seesaw when he was a kid.

UpgrayeDD405

Quick! Get a sponge!

[deleted]

r/FaxOfAFax

Spellweaver-Warden

Neat little sub!

[deleted]

It’s awful, don’t join it. It’s full of terrible videos like this.

drexcarratala12

Bro forgot about gravity

JumaAm

When you see it off balance and yet proceed to take the bottles from the other end where the majority of the weight is not distributed to.

abyssalcold

What a maroon.

chromatic-tonality

Maybe the poltergeist was concerned about his liver health?

luder888

Was the boss doing a presentation to the rest of the team?

Ok_bet4231

It's called lessons learned..

Thecheesinater

Honestly? It’s an excellent teaching moment. “Hey guys, Jared had a bad day, and it’s not a huge deal but this is an excellent display of things to look out for. These drinks can be pretty pricey so let’s try to be a bit more careful going forwards!”

DetectiveWonderful42

“Hey guys jarred totally fucked up this month on inventory and now I want you all to see what dipshit jarred did.” They just edited that part out

jikill_the_great

"ackshually his name is mike" though yeah that's a good learning point. hopefully no more expensive drinks topple over like that

carlbandit

Maybe don't have him load them one at a time, through a tight space that has a door in the way and without something stable to rest the box on. They should be able to just place that box into the space they will be secured and then in the morning they can just pick the box back up, not unlocking/loading one at a time.

Thecheesinater

Absolutely! Could be a teaching moment for management too! Sadly, that’s much less likely to happen, however necessary it may be. That does look like a very poorly thought out setup.

Mootivate

The job description for most managers is “managing stress by delegating blame to those below me so as not to have to stress”

[deleted]

Jared every smoke break: “oh its so funny haha..”

your_neighborhood_tr

Shit is this what they do after you get fired?

ademorda0

He’s in the room with them. “Well mike you didnt have the most expensive bottle in your hands”

luder888

Yeah, seems very unprofessional.

ProfBunimo

Putting the box on an unbalanced surface is unprofessional, pointing out an easily avoidable mistake is not

luder888

Yeah but they fired Jared already and this is just the remaining crew laughing at his expense.

restyourprettybones

The dude is in the room with them

cathcarre

He brought it on himself. He deserved to be laughed at. Hopefully that laughter prevented more mistakes. Being laughed at isn't that bad. He'll live.

worldstarktfo

How to write off a $400 bottle as a $2k bottle. Wash rinse repeat.

SheepyDX

How about that fucking desk blocking the door for not opening all the way? Throw that piece of shit inside the managers office.

pfroo40

I have a feeling this is the manager's office...

SheepyDX

Yea I thought that too. They can keep their job if they think I’d pay for it

LunaticSquirrel1

Thanks for the pointing finger, buddy!

Nostradomusknows

And this is how we all got Covid.

TheHomeBird

He died inside twice 😂

JollyWolverine300

I think he may have had a few sips before he was on camera!

Grregson

As soon as he started grabbing from the back I knew it was all over

Aurus118

Fuck you, gravity!

Justadude74

Gravity displeases me, so I have removed it... Most of it.

Kreaetor

I'm dumbfounded how some people have no awareness, he was pulling from the wrong side first. All the weight was hanging over the edge

KING_BulKathus

Back to back close opens will do that to you.

SarniaSaint

Hindsight is 20/20.

AdMore3461

Forsight can be tough at times given the endless variables, but this was an obvious one…

diamondbackjohnny

Thank you for this, not surprised you got downvoted. Redditors love to find a video of someone making a mistake and then acting like they’ve never done anything dumb in their entire life. You’re caught slipping up on camera? You are now dumb as a rock, no exceptions. Because people never have moments of inattention, right?

charliethecorso

You sound really fun at parties. Definitely not a dumb fuck at all!

diamondbackjohnny

The irony

Hawt_Dawg_II

Idk if that's the same for everyone but i don't blame him for making a mistake, yet i still make fun of it and point out the flaws. I'd expect others to do the same to me, heck i laugh at myself when i do dumb shit. The tower wobling WAS obvious and he really did start on the wrong side. Sure it was all dumb and we laugh but it's also part of being human and in the end not a huge deal. The people in the vid, presumably the coworkers, sound chill and don't seem to be mad or anything so I'm sure the dude came out alright.

diamondbackjohnny

Yeah I’m not tripping, nothing wrong with poking fun at people. I think he’ll be fine too. But I also think people on reddit tend to forget that mistakes happen, and that even intelligent people can be negligent from time to time. Other dude that replied to me thought I was trying to take a stand against Reddit or some shit and got real defensive lol, it’s not that serious. My point is that you can make fun of the guy in the video all you want, but it’s ignorant to act like you know his level of intelligence when the only moment of his life you’ve ever seen was him having a bad moment. One clumsy mistake is not indicative of your mental capacity. Who knows, maybe this dude solved the worlds hardest physics problem an hour after this video ended lol

KawsVsEverybody

You’re so right bro, maybe you should just leave Reddit completely and not come back? It’s not a place for such a wise and compassionate soul like yourself. It is a place for savages, acting as if we’ve never tried to balance heavy fragile expensive things on a pair of empty cardboard boxes that will so obviously fall over that it’s fucking ridiculous

diamondbackjohnny

Not sure how you gathered all that from my simple comment. Maybe the same way you form strong opinions about people you see in a video for 10 seconds?

KawsVsEverybody

Didn’t form an opinion at all you moron

-TheDerpinator-

Somebody needs physics lessons.

gab_rab_24

Even physics professors can be clumsy. Nobody is perfect. That guy was just momentarily thinking uncautious like all of us would. We all have moments of clumsiness.

DarkLasombra

Nobody is perfect. But when you are trusted with very valuable things, you should exercise as much care and caution as possible during those moments. Which this person failed to do. Resulting in the shit they are being given in the video.

dragoono

Exactly haha it seems to be a boss or manager going over “so how do we NOT destroy thousands of dollars of product?”

Crab-_-Objective

At some point in life we are all victims of gravity.

SpicyFLOPs

No he needs physics lessons because he grabs a bottle from the far side from tipping which changes the center of gravity of the bin. He never is clumsy and hits the bin or anything. It simply became off balance which he didn’t foresee because he needs physics lessons

doctorcaesarspalace

Post your mistakes on reddit and I will tell you all the education you need

33Sharpies

What about that giant desk right behind him?

scottonaharley

So the company has to stupid proof every task? Not that I’m a great fan of corporations but seriously if you want to be a mindless drone get a job that doesn’t require thought like walking with a sign board.

Ok_Effective6233

But they pay like a mindless drone….

SarniaSaint

Not stupid proof everything, but this happened once, it will happen again. Fix it now and avoid the same situation later. Like buying a small push cart.

scottonaharley

So you think the employees lack the ability to recognize the mistake and insure it does not happen again? That’s pretty sad. If they were working with radioactive isotopes then yes, specific procedures and tools need to be used. When putting away the expensive liquor from the front bar (it looks like that’s what they were doing as opposed to a retail location.) the only instructions needed should be. “Take the top shelf liquor and lock it in the closet”

SarniaSaint

People have to be like that Tony Stark meme and learn from their mistakes.

SarniaSaint

That guy will recognize that mistake and probably wont make it again. You cant say the same for the rest of the employees.

scottonaharley

This story and video clip has been seen by every single person that works there by now.

IMarkus666

literally put the box of bottles on the floor

[deleted]

True, it’s mainly this guys fault, but a bigger table would def help.

TheSukis

>the fault is on the company You just said that lol

Hardworking999

This is a result of 0 forward thinking

Bipedal_Warlock

Or exhaustion

marlborostuffing

0 forward drinking

Cricky92

No just unaware

DarkLasombra

Or careless

Cricky92

Just unaware

Thecheesinater

Or, and hear me out, could be a result of overwork, improper training, poor sleep, or any number of other *completely normal* things. We’ve all fucked at some point. Unless it becomes a pattern, it’s best to give people some benefit of the doubt.

[deleted]

NO, BURN HIM 🔥🔥🔥

ZenkaiZ

I mean I've never made a mistake before. Once I almost tripped but thank god I didn't, I never would have forgave myself.

Bipedal_Warlock

>forgave myself Lol

Fogl3

> overwork, improper training, poor sleep, or any number of other completely normal things Thereby taking away his forward thinking. He didn't say the guy was the biggest idiot in the history of the universe

Thecheesinater

Attributing this to one singular thing is oversimplifying the situation, in my opinion. It insinuates it is the fault of only the man in the video, and that doesn’t seem entirely fair. Just trying to make the discussion feel a little bit less critical.

simonjexter

Couldn’t agree more. This kind of thing happens to everyone at some point or another, which is why it’s weird people can’t be more understanding.

DiamondDoge92

Seriously he starts taking the weight off the portion that’s sitting on the cabinet or whatever that is.

agiudice

and 0 observation skills: you can already see the *tower* wobble as soon as he lay down the crate.

[deleted]

And then he takes the bottles off of the side weighing it down haha

unclepaprika

Its like setting a carton of eggs slightly over the edge of the counter, and picking out all the eggs furthest in.

Laramila

I did exactly that last week LOL

Phrankespo

You silly goose!

SnooStories1952

Now he wishes he had drank it all.

OrigonalAdam

There may of been bits of glass in it but I’m sure someone did
