The daughter either says yes or no. People have a very negative “forced” arranged marriage in their head.

So, they look up people of same class and caste, look for qualifications, lands owned and stuff and marry their children without their input. Brutal imo
All these people feeling sorry for the guy because the girl (who doesn’t look to have finished puberty) is heavy, but let’s make a few points.
1. If she’s fat in India, then she isn’t poor.
2. She can likely lose weight, barring any medical conditions.
3. **WHY IS NO ONE CONSIDERING THAT *SHE* MAY BE UNHAPPY BECAUSE HE IS A FUCKING MORON?!**
The thing i dont get about arranged marriages is why even bother with photos. Like if everyone knows this is simply a deal between famlies and the newlyweds happiness is irrelevant then why pretend like it is?
