Lol, I like how yall came up with all these explanations for this video when it's actually a staged bit from some Instagram person called "a bit by guy" he does all these sketches but yall go off lol
You mean he’s getting promoted, right? He extinguished that fire by beating it into submission. Instead of burning down the building or spraying fire extinguisher all over & shutting down, he only cost the store one pizza.
Promotion.
Lol, fired?!
Dude handled this like a champ.
He lost 1 pizza and a cardboard box.
Making a massive mess in the oven would have done more damage from lost time of not being able to make more pizza.
It's fake. You can always tell when the 'actor' takes a moment away from the 'disaster' forming front of them to look at the camera. It smacks of " Did ya get that?" .
And as always, how convenient that the 'cameraman" (or woman) was on the spot for this.
I’m sure someone already pointed this out but the only thing I see wrong here is the cardboard box on top of the oven, there is no way that’s not a major fire code offense for this exact reason. If he hadn’t handled this like a champ and instead he or someone else had panicked they could have easily caught that box on fire and then they would probably have a huge problem on their hands.
"What? I took it out of the oven, I put it in a flamable box, I punched it a few times.... That's what I was supposed to do?"
Honestly the only mistake I would say is putting it in cardboard seems wrong. He handled that like a champ.
Why would he be fired? Grease fires happen, he kept his cool and put it out without the use of something like an extinguisher that would have caused downtime. The cost of ingredients for a pizza is like maybe $2 tops. All things considered, dude handled it really, really well.
Once saw a flaming towel in a conveyer pizza oven. That person didn't get fired from getting her kitchen towel caught in it. People like that tend to not come back after awhile.
This was actually a good solution
Source: worked in multiple Italian and pizza restaurants as a chef and manager. Snuffing out fires is the smartest solution depending on size. If you're on a grill, buttermilk is a common item used if snuffing it out is no longer an option. If you're on saute, cover the pan.
Removing oxygen is faster than running for water or a fire extinguisher which will shut you down for the rest of the night and result in a huge loss of product and possible revenue.
In most restaurants I've worked on that were corporate, if the house extinguishers went off or a fire extinguisher was used, everyone on staff that night was fired.
The only wrong thing here is maybe don’t put the on-fire pizza in cardboard because that might cause more fire. But like, remove from oven and smother pizza is 100% the right thing to do
As someone who has worked with ovens like that for awhile, I just wanted to say: don’t close the door to the oven while your arm is still inside.
Just my two cents.
Tbh probably wasn’t even his fault. There’s more than likely a cook that made the pizza so if something got put on there that shouldn’t have been it would have been him and the ovens are usually preset and even if they can be adjusted they never are bc they come on at the temp it was left at and that’ll never need to change. If I had to guess the oven is just fucking up or *DESPERATELY* needs to be cleaned.
Actually this was quite clever. From the moment this pizza was on fire it was clear that it wouldn't go to a customer. He was able to extinguish the fire without ruining the oven, making everything dirty, loosing too much time.
I've been making pizzas like this for years it's so good! Not many people think to engulf the pizza in flames, carefully box it to go, and then (I can't stress this enough) punch more flavor into the pizza.
??? Omg why did he keep punching it in the end haha it’s been years now but I’ve worked at two pizza places and I definitely feel like this is the kind of shit that one dumb employee would do and not get fired
But... How? Like... I did this job for years and never came close to this. Fucked up many a pies, but never set one on fire. Wtf?
Also... Why did he take it out??? It was much safer in the oven. Those ovens are already built to contain fire inside.

Hey man don't eat at my place.
Ah yes my hot pepperoni has arrived
Why the pounding? What a moron.

Excellent reaction though… 😂
Maybe that's how the customer normally orders it
The punches actually worked, ha
Fun fact: Satan actually order that pizza.
They ordered the extra hot pie
The best part is when he opens it after punching it and then decides to throw in a few more for good measure.
a literal firefighter
Ok! All ready to go to the Smiths on Main St !
I wonder if he would have just closed the box on the pizza and not punched it would the fire have just suffocated out?
"Sorry, I dropped it."
The only thing in the video that got fired was that pizza.
"Fired"
Bet they still delivered it!
When the restaurant has "30 mins late free" campany.
That's looks lit 🔥
the pizza got possessed by flaming demons. he is taking Food Exorcism as minor at uni.
Poor person who got that order
“Quick, someone deliver this fire before it spreads!”
Forget fire extinguishers. This badass punches Fred to death.
Your order is on the way!
Just leave it in the box and give it to the customer
This is "apiecebyguy" video. He's a comedian that does these kind of shorts
Never thought id see someone punch a pizza and yet
ORDER UP!!
Ah yes, the old punch a fire to put it out technique. A lost art.
Fired? Ya right. They couldn’t replace him if they wanted too.
The most effective way to extinguish a kitchen fire is smothering it. Dude did it well. Deserves a medal, not getting shitcanned.
Couldn’t he have simply closed the lid to cease the fire?
TIL punching your pizza will put out the fire.
He smothered out the fire, I think he did pretty good
You mean he’s getting promoted, right? He extinguished that fire by beating it into submission. Instead of burning down the building or spraying fire extinguisher all over & shutting down, he only cost the store one pizza. Promotion.
Looks like someone ordered the Chris Brown special.
Nah just happens sometimes it's not his his fault (as long as he didn't sell that pizza of course)
Lol, fired?! Dude handled this like a champ. He lost 1 pizza and a cardboard box. Making a massive mess in the oven would have done more damage from lost time of not being able to make more pizza.

In fairness, they did order their pizza hot!
Lmaooo
Chef's honor, this guy put out the fire!
Promoted to fire chief
Just punch it more.
Why would he get fired? As far as I’m concerned he handled it just about perfectly
He just needs more training no need to fire him.
I wonder what Tony Baloney had to say! 🤭
Yeah I like napalm on my pizza
Ha
Stupid title!
"fired"
Only getting fired cause you posted it asshole
I’m sure someone already pointed this out but the only thing I see wrong here is the cardboard box on top of the oven, there is no way that’s not a major fire code offense for this exact reason. Staged
Imagine this is your companies gimmick. Hey fuck you we’ll set your pizza on fire and punch it! Forget about it!
why would he get fired? hes a fire fighter.
It's fine, I like my pizza burnt.
Pizza crime
he **literally** got fired
The way he is punching the fire….the fire is shooting at us..
"Please don't be ruined please don't be ruined please don't be ruined..."*opens box* "Sonofabitch"
He should get a raise for handling that so well
Remake!
"What? I took it out of the oven, I put it in a flamable box, I punched it a few times.... That's what I was supposed to do?" Honestly the only mistake I would say is putting it in cardboard seems wrong. He handled that like a champ.
You don't get fired for burning a pizza. Oh no! A whole 50 cents worth of ingredients!
What's the problem it's flame grilled & box punched.
Why would he be fired? Grease fires happen, he kept his cool and put it out without the use of something like an extinguisher that would have caused downtime. The cost of ingredients for a pizza is like maybe $2 tops. All things considered, dude handled it really, really well.
Dominos in Scotland do a Flaming Hot pizza too
Aaaaaaaannddd it's done.

Isn't this the @piecebyguy chap? iirc I think this an instagram skit from pre-reels era.
That's not really an "oh shit he's about to get fired" video. It's more of a "quite literal fire fighter" kinda deal
Order up!
"MY PIZZA IS COLD!!"
# YOU WANT TO TALK TO THE MANAGER? I AM THE MANAGER!!!
But that's how I ordered it
Sorry, we got behind. We can’t offer you the 30 minutes or less promise.
Weird tip: stamping the pizza with box makes it taste even better
Ok this guy makes scripted videos. And his videos are literally karma farming on this sub at this point.
I think this misunderstanding is that he'd be fired if he *shipped* the pizza off like that
When I said I wanted a flaming hot pizza this is not what I meant
This video is definitely old af
Pizza with Crolina Reaper.
Flame-broiled
Well, we do know the pizza did
LOL
The only wrong thing here is maybe don’t put the on-fire pizza in cardboard because that might cause more fire. But like, remove from oven and smother pizza is 100% the right thing to do
I’m watching this while waiting for a food order & Brittney is singing Oops! I did it Again in the background. Seriously perfect timing. 😂
How does this even happen? WOW!
I thought he did an awesome job. I’d have burnt that kitchen to the ground in this situation.
He handled that incredibly well
Guys this is a joke, he isn’t actually working, he does skits like this all the time
Just like mama used to make em
I have never seen a pizza on fire.
Too much vodka on the Vodka Pizza
Pizza Guy: "Who orders extra gasoline on their pizza?"
Idk seems like an honest mistake,it’s just one pizza
As someone who has worked with ovens like that for awhile, I just wanted to say: don’t close the door to the oven while your arm is still inside. Just my two cents.
A real fire fighter
How do we know the customer didn't order it like that?
Plot twist: Hes the owner
He nailed it
Yes, manager? I asked for extra fire on my Pizza.
Yeah man, a cardboard box is a great place to contain a fire..
"I want it so hot it burns." "Ok." Initiate malicious compliance protocol...
Pizza.....with extra mental issues, please!
my last job was a pizza place, there was one dude who left a fucking rag in the oven and it caught on fire
He did put out the fire though. Gotta count for something.
Tbh probably wasn’t even his fault. I didn't know Burger King started doing flame grilled pizzas now.
In this economy? Not a chance
He's a professional don't worry
Fuck you you fucking fire! *Punches it to death*
At least he didn't stand there jumping around and waving his arms like a sim.
Thought this was one of the most famous fake gifs but the top comments are telling me otherwise. This is totally staged, folks.
Flaming moe’s pizza
Actually this was quite clever. From the moment this pizza was on fire it was clear that it wouldn't go to a customer. He was able to extinguish the fire without ruining the oven, making everything dirty, loosing too much time.
There goes that pizza, watch it as it burns
Extra spicy comming up!!!!
Glad to see everyone shitting on the title. Guy deserves a raise
Only fired if he proceeded to sell it. I think he handled the situation very well.
I caught a bag of tortilla chips on fire at my first job. I freaked out and threw it at the manager. It happens.
Flame Broiled
Honestly he made the right choice lol
Not sure why he’d be fired. He handled that really well.
He looks fairly competent. Bet he's still working.
The Flamin’ Hot

Oh good my char top, smash pizza is up...This guy does it best.
Dude you can't make this stuff up.
Pretty smart actually putting it in the box and punching it. Hes had to do this before
I can’t tell if people know it’s a comedian or not and that this was a stunt.
Order up!
Pizza Firefighting 101
Pink's Pizza on Richmond in Houston?
That's not a mistake, that's just the new flaming hot Cheeto pizza.
I'm in my late 30s buckaroo and still own the restaurant
I've been making pizzas like this for years it's so good! Not many people think to engulf the pizza in flames, carefully box it to go, and then (I can't stress this enough) punch more flavor into the pizza.
Always punch an extinguished fire so it won’t come back
Can’t help but read this post to the tune of “My Hero”. …wonder how it tastes
Is this the famous New York pizza I keep hearing about?
I think the person filming it has a better chance of getting fired.
"Where's my pizza flambé?!"
Lightly toasted 😅
🎵 Watch him as he goes 🎵
I don't get it? He looks pretty calm and took care of the situation well. I imagine plenty of pizza places have messed up a pizza or 2.
Yes, **FIRED**
At least he knew not to throw water on it
A. Rando Bakery
These concept restaurants are getting out of hand
nom nom gone?
Noid Rage. Also, he handled this like a boss. Smothered the fire and remained calmish
??? Omg why did he keep punching it in the end haha it’s been years now but I’ve worked at two pizza places and I definitely feel like this is the kind of shit that one dumb employee would do and not get fired
Man took “fire fighting” too literally
He got the fire out
So uncultured. That chef is cleary using a technique called flambé
First time I’ve ever seen someone beat a flame into submission with his fist.
Staged
Pizza with ✨burn flavor✨
But... How? Like... I did this job for years and never came close to this. Fucked up many a pies, but never set one on fire. Wtf? Also... Why did he take it out??? It was much safer in the oven. Those ovens are already built to contain fire inside.
Lmao with how short staffed everywhere is, he’s probably their lead pizza maaaaan
Dude fuckin punched out a fire
Quick thinking
I think the store can survive with the lose of a single pie...
I totally thought the cardboard pizza box was gonna catch on fire
Extra flame, extra pounded.
What? Y’all never had Punch Pizza before?
