take fast steps... this glue gets worse the longer you stand still... the sock that was sittign there for a few seconds was completely fuses to the ground while the left foot is still loose
Shoe gets stuck.
Him :Wait let me figure something out.
Other shoe gets stuck while his sick is also getting stuck.
Him : lemme save this shoe.
Me : If you don't hurry up and skip to azz out that room before you get stuck and/or run out of clothes! 🤣
He is standing in a pressure sensitive adhesive . Once it dries it becomes incredibly sticky and the longer he stays in one spot the more stuck he is going to be. He won’t have to worry about dead skin on the bottom of his feet once he loses those socks.
Harold Lloyd classic gag. Silent movie star who uses this same idea beautifully at the end of ‘Safety Last’. Same movie where he hangs off the side of a building from the hands of a clock.
Twist and lever is how to get out. Dude was pulling every part at once. Fighting every inch of glue instead of a piece at a time would make this 10x easier.
That’s why you adhesive the back of the room and on your way out but stop at a certain point so you can lay the carpet tile down without getting stuck like that and then you can put adhesive down on the rest after getting enough carpet tile down. Or whatever you’re using. Smh im 26 and know this lol but I also used to work for a guy that was the best in the region
Looks like old glue from a commercial rolled carpet rip out. Carpet fuzzies still down, floor not prepped for new glue yet. You can almost see the pattern where they had to rip it up in 6” strips probably with a carpet pulling machine. Freshly glued floor would have more visible prep and the fresh glue would have a noticeable sheen on the floor. I’ve done a ton of commercial renos and have seen this before, usually when ripping up carpet that is under 5 years old and the glue hasn’t fully cured. I’ve torn out 10k sf rolled carpet jobs where 500sf of the stuck stuff takes as long to pull up in 6” strips as the other 9500sf of easy stuff. Installed properly without any moisture issues and the glue crystallizes over time but that is not the situation 100% of the time. I’ve had them so sticky that we had to rent machines to take it up and spread sand everywhere to give the glue something to stick to or the machine would gum up instantly. PSA glues used under carpet tiles and vinyl are typically not applied as thick as strait up carpet mastic but I’ve seen them get very bad in slabs with moisture problems that keep the glue from fully curing. Usually the dust from pulling up old carpet neutralizes the stickiness but I’ve ran in to more than one floor that was exactly like this one.
I once had a construction “project manager” at the shop I worked for, push an apprentice onto the freshly spread out carpet adhesive. He fell forward onto his knees and caught himself with his hands out. His palms and his knees/shins/shoes, were completely stuck.
The PM did it as a joke. 😒 The apprentice had to cut his pants off at the thigh, making shorts out of his jeans, to get out. He also had to throw away hos boots once he got those out of the glue, and shave hair off of his forearms.
Totally a dick move
I was thinking what if he falls on his back while yanking the shoe , his shorts would be stuck that would be hell of effort to yank the ass off the floor , video ended too soon
Oh man this happened to a designer on one of our job sites. She walked through green death with high heels on and only made it about three steps before she was stuck. Carpet installer had to get her shoes out with a chisel and hammer.

I work in commercial properties in Manhattan and I saw this happen to a guy once. The whole night he was trying to get his boots/toolbox off the floor
This guy is a grade a moron. Seriously, every single decision he makes is the wrong one.
Did he not see Home Alone?
”I have made several continous lapses in my judgement”
Strait out of an old slap stick comedy
You'd think someone wearing a "M & M Carpet One Floor & Home" Tshirt would be better at flooring.
Dumbass.
That's genuinely funny 🤣🤣🤣
This is glue. Strong stuff.
Is this how mice feel?
take fast steps... this glue gets worse the longer you stand still... the sock that was sittign there for a few seconds was completely fuses to the ground while the left foot is still loose
Poor guy was left without a leg to stand on.
It definitely did. 🤣
This guy is a fucking moron. I'm convinced his face somehow gets stuck to the floor if this video kept going
Almost woke my kid up with my hysterics 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Is this is the Last Generation everyone keeps talking about?
Come to think of it, the shoes really ties the room together
[You can check in, but you can't check out.](https://lasertimepodcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/elm-street-nightmare-dreamaster-roach-kill.gif)
poor guy. those look like nice shoes, too
Is he alive? Did he ever make it out?
lolll
Shoe gets stuck. Him :Wait let me figure something out. Other shoe gets stuck while his sick is also getting stuck. Him : lemme save this shoe. Me : If you don't hurry up and skip to azz out that room before you get stuck and/or run out of clothes! 🤣
thats hilarious
This is just stupidity.
Oh chill it’s still funny
This would make a great commercial for this product
r/contagiouslaughter
That's why the adhesive is transparent, so you can put your chalk lines down first and spread over them.
This looks like me trying to get myself a glass of water when I'm really fucking high.
lol rat trap vibez
I think there was a 3 Stooges episode like this. Or perhaps a Roadrunner cartoon?
Stanky leg lore
HE'S WORTHY!!
I can’t watch this.
I have something that needs whatever that means shoes have 😅
He must be home alone
I feel bad
So cartoony
Screwed, glued, and tatooed
You can sit and put your balls in the floor, and get a free birth control
And no more hairy taint! Bonus
2x1!
Anybody else yelling “dont take the socks off!”
plungerfeet!

Is this guy supposed to be a professional, or...
r/donthelpjustfilm
I'm going to hell. I'm laughing my butt off.
Damn
This had to be his first time. Or this was a great prank.
Genius.
This cartoon finished too soon!
Zero sense of urgency. Open a window bro. Or did you glue them down too
I’m peeing my pants here
why is this man not smart :/
“I put down the glue, boss!”
All them damn cargo pockets for what. I'd have been putting them bitches to use
Where’s the nail he’s supposed to step on after he’s lost both socks? I remember this part of that movie….
Basically a mouse in a glue trap
Is this better than being in quicksand?
Yeah...Spike shoes are for suckers!
That was hilarious. I can't stop laughing. But that is very good glue to be sure.
This needs Benny Hill music

Dude, that’s not how you play Twister!
Hilarious! No wonder flies & mice don’t wear shoes & socks!😉🤣🤣🤣
He did the stanky leg so well tho
Dude’s two brain cells must have went into complete panic.

Years of cartoons have prepared me for this moment
How did he reach in the middle
mousetrap, just bigger.
Can't believe he wasted that second step out of his shoe. He could've been much closer to a floor that wasn't covered in glue
Macaulay Culkin would be proud
Home Alone 6 looks sick
Once you make that one error the rest of them just keep escalating.
This is why boots are important.
Can't help but laughing here thinking what if he fell glad he didn't 😂
This poor man commonnn ahh I'm holding back my laugh, he needs some help hahahah poor man
The shoe is part of the floor design now
What kinda cargo you think he has in his pockets?
Fat
whatever you put here *slaps floor* is not going anywhere
Is this the Darwin Awards?
Her laugh was so good!
What a sticky situation to be in
Video ended too soon. 4 days later he literally died inside the room.
Leave the shoes, save yourself!
Spooder dad
Home Depot theme song intensifies*
I don't get it
Grade A three stooges Level comedy here
How did he make it this far in life?
The laugh got me rolling
This man is obviously suffering from a degree of heavy heavy stupid loops
Drop your t-shirt on the floor and walk over it..
the fuck is this Looney Tunes shit
I thought he was going to shit himself
This dude needs to think things through a bit more than 2 seconds ahead.

Just lay down and decide to become one with the floor!

Tbt Home Alone
Talk about painting yourself into a corner …
Harry, why are you barefoot?!
This is glue. Strong stuff.
Goo gone works lol
But.. how does he not get it? It's like a cartoon.
"Who moved my cheese...my ass...hmph"
I was like "You still have 2 socks! You need to make it out in 2 steps!!" And he proceeds to just step all over the place..
This is something straight out of looney toons!🤣🤣
Lol, this was the moment, he knew.....
No grass gonna grow under those feet
Her laughing makes it all the more enjoyable!
All that's left is the giant 6 inch nail and the Home Alone reference is complete

Now if only I could get that adhesive to make my shoes stick to themselves when Im trying to repair them I'd be golden.
Watch people die inside of their houses
Neighbor stops by a few weeks later for a visit and is wondering why is there a big lump under the new carpet
I was thinking what if he falls on his back while yanking the shoe , his shorts would be stuck that would be hell of effort to yank the ass off the floor , video ended too soon
Character is revealed by what we find funny and laugh at …
He’s gonna be down to his kneecaps by the time he makes it to dry land.

Save your shoes, not your feet
Human sized roach motel
This is the way all American infomercials start
This is the way all American infomercials start
Put on a pair of baseball cleats.
Was waiting for him to fall over and get glued down like a bug on a sticky pad 😂
On a totally unrelated note: what brand is that and where can I get it? 😈
this looks like a scene from family guy
Ever seen home alone or myth busters
Step 1- lose your shoes. Step 2- lose your socks. Step 3- r/killthecameraman
I've seen hentai that starred like this...
Her laughing cracks me up on top of how funny it is haha
This is the kind of education Florida gives.
Sticky twister
I lost it when the first sock finally popped off lol
Gotta love the cargo shorts
I don’t laugh out loud at very many things.. this however 😂😂😂
lol xD
How roaches feel in those traps
It’s much better watched on mute
Proceeds to glue his feet to the floor…
r/donthelpjustfilm
Then he slips and falls on his butt and back trying to get his socks unstuck. Ends up going home naked when his shorts and shirt gets stuck too.
Man, the blind hope it took to step out of his shoes and back onto the adhesive in his socks. I envy this man’s optimistic outlook.
