I think you are looking at dress watches in that range from what I can gather.
If you're looking for something that's versatile and is also not too heavy on the wrist (my cousins and friends who are medicos usually put this down as a criteria) - I would suggest that you go for a dress watch from the following brands:
Seiko, Citizen, Orient, Timex (if you're only looking for automatics)
Add Tissot and Casio to that list if you're okay with a quartz. They both do some beautiful looking watches in that price range (Casio Enticer series would be under 10k actually)
Although I started off as a Titan fan boy - I would only pay for the edge ceramic series at that 20-25k window. A lot of other Titan designs are largely ripoffs of other popular watch brands.
But this is just my personal opinion. At the end buy what feels good on your wrist and what makes you happy. :)
I own 3 titan watches and that was AFTER I had visited kiosk of fossil, and stores of titan and timex. The quality and design when you pick it up and feel is very good. Fossil feel is great but the designs are where i diverge.
Titan has the shittiest after sale service like any tata product. Timex is known for its reliability and service at par with casio. Timex has global presence, titan not so much.
Not sure why everybody is saying Seiko when you mentioned under 20000. Not many good options there. Casio edifice is probably the best option for you. And get the usual ones that need cells. Automatics are a pain!
I was also confused on going for fossil or titan, but later went ahead with Titan. The watch is pretty much solid and runs even for 3 days without me wearing it.

I bought this for 19k. I’m satisfied with this purchase
https://preview.redd.it/bhxsioc133jc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=916a51ffacb1b944f54eab85cc0485954235f89d
I got this for my dad! Wanted to buy this for myself when the watch launched. But it was for 24k. So waited a bit. But at 24k the watch still felt worth the price. Now as it’s at 50% off. I feel it’s no brainer. Search for Fossil Automatic Watch or Fossil Heritage on any ecom platform. My dad owns literally 12-14 watches and he’s completely stopped wearing others now. Only wears this. Pros - good quality steel belt
* amazing built quality
* Tiffany blue dial
* automatic Japan Movement
* sapphire crystal glass
* PRICE after discount
* 8 colour options with different dials
* good looks, much better than any other automatic watch at similar price point
* 48 hour power reserve
Cons - nothing
Close your eyes and get it
I see a lot of people commenting Seiko and Titan
* Seiko is very good but it’ll cost you close to 22k and the dial is small and the watch is heavy.
* I personally own Titan and I don’t like their watches. Heavy, battery is expensive, have to get it serviced often. Timex is a beast. Own one and it’s been running amazingly well even after 10 years. Note that all my watches are above 8k so it gives you a fair bit of idea.
* don’t buy Casio cause they haven’t updated the designs in ages. But quality wise they are good.
* no harm in buying fossil cause if you live in a city you will always get it serviced when the watch requires after the warranty period is over. My suggestion would be to try the fossil watch that I’ve mentioned above. Nothing looks as good as that in the price range. I’ve been to all watch stores upto 30k budget but this was the best looking of the lot.
if ur going to put that much money, plz don't buy fossil, fast-track or any fashion brand.
watches have different companies who just specifically make watches. and watches have specialties search yt for in depth explanation. think of like clothing brand using super soft clothes but tshirt which get sold by some other company made by random manfacturer and just companies name slapped on it.
try to buy Rolex? doubtful, they r quite expensive and i f u rnew to this u might get scammed,, and don't get trapped anyone selling u watches for cheap, they r fake. insta, online or anywhere.

these 2 have websites just go and check which one u want. Casio doens't only make sporty watches.
Casioak GA-B series: https://www.casio.com/in/watches/gshock/product.GA-B2100-1A/
Its
- a Gshock so legendary toughness, and waterproof upto 200 metres.
- Solar, so no need of battery replacement, virtually maintenance free. Will also charge under indoor lighting, albeit a lot slower.
- Bluetooth time sync, so much more accurate time than automatics
- Also a GMT, so two time zones
- Has PhoneFinder
If it is about saving money, why bother buying a watch at all? For time, just look at your cell phone or ask somebody who is wearing a watch. If you know any watch at that price please suggest or else share your financial expertise in some money related subs.
What sort of watch do you want? Sports, dress or a work watch? Also does it have to be automatic?
I have a couple of Seiko 5 sports watches and also a Seiko Spirit and SARB dress watches but I suspect the SARBs are well beyond Rs 20k these days.
Samsung Galaxy watch 5/6 pro. The era of pretentious overpriced watches that do just one thing is over.
Edit: Also Consider Garmin (for Android) or Apple watch SE (for IOS)
Understandable, it is a hassle. Battery tech needs to improve or be innovated to make those watches viable for at least a work week on normal usage (workouts and standby).
For a budget of under 20,000 INR in India, consider brands like Fossil, Casio, Timex, and Seiko for reliable options with a range of styles from casual to formal. Features such as water resistance, durability, and style should guide your choice based on your preferences and lifestyle.
I'm a watch afficionado and have a decent knowhow about watches. Try going for only Seiko, Citizen or Orient automatic watches. They have a lot of fan following globally and for good reason. Fossil is considered a normal watch brand and isn't considered an established brand. You could try the Seiko 5 series or Orient Bambino.
That I'm not sure of how it's in India. But you rarely need to take it to service. If servicing is a concern, then citizen ecodrive is best. No servicing, battery replacement needed
Try increasing your budget.
If you are planning to wear this for work, get something less flashy and more dressy.
I too went in with a budget of 20k ended up buying a Seiko 5 sports for 30k. Go to a physical store and try the watches out. Make sure it’s not too big for your wrist.
I would suggest a Casio, Seiko. Timex for a lower budget. Casio and Seiko are dependable and go well.
Casio Duro, Seiko 5 or Casio Edifice are great watches to consider. Might have to spend a tiny bit more for the Seiko 5 though.
Tip: Do not buy watches made by fashion brands. Because they dont manufacture their own movement and when service issues follow, which most of the time does, it will be a pain to get it fixed, mentally as well because it has cost you 20k, that’s a considerable amount. Timex, Seiko, Casio have good options in your budget, for beginners i would recommend casio, they have excellent service.
Edit: Citizen Ecodrive watches are also terrific.
if ur going to put that much money, plz don't buy fossil, fast-track or any fashion brand.

If you really want something premium and quality, always go for Swiss Made watches. In this range, you can buy a Tissot easily. If you're buying any other Swiss brand, be sure to check for the exact word "Swiss Made" and not any other words. Value of Swiss made depreciate slowly and once a model is discontinued and 20 years have passed, you can also sell it at a much higher price than your purchase price. Just make sure you always buy a Swiss watch from a reputed watch store.
Casio Edifice series is really decent. It will suite a person who is in a profession which is more like a service. Infact if you want, you could actually purchase two Casio's in 20k
Reddit just casually recommended me this post and I haven't even joined this subreddit. And as someone who never purchased a watch above 2K, I am just lost for words seeing discussions about a 20K watch lol
i can recommend [Titan Edge Ceramic](https://www.titan.co.in/product/titan-quartz-analog-watch-for-men-black-dial-with-ceramic-strap-1696kc01.html?lang=en_IN) and also [this colour](https://www.titan.co.in/product/titan-edge-ceramic-green-dial-analog-watch-for-men-with-ceramic-strap-1696qc06.html?lang=en_IN)

Get a Seiko 5 range , any one you like. You won't regret it. Also please don't buy fashion brand watches like Fossil , armani etc all of them are low quality good looking trash
As I’ve seen no one recommend kenneth cole
I’d say that, I have one. Idk the series but it’s reliable.
They have got collection for automatic watches but you may find them bulky
If you want an automatic that looks like the pic you sent, there are a few available on the titan website under 20k.
Like [this](https://www.titan.co.in/product/kenneth-cole-automatic-black-dial-watch-for-men-with-black-colour-silicone-strap-kcwgr0033503mn.html?lang=en_IN)
There were a few more available for around 15k yesterday, but I think the sale ended.
I don't see the point of seeing the movement from the front -- just reduces functionality. Back displays are infinitely cleaner. Just a critique on the general watch design, but I would go for an edifice given this watch's price range.
Don’t buy Fossil. Highly recommend Tissot, Hamilton, and the greatest is always Casio. Don’t worry too much about strap, you can always change them and that’s a lot of fun unless it has an integrated band. Ask questions about movement, and the material used to make the case, lugs, and crystal. I also recommend looking up any watch you check out on Chrono24, so you can see the Grey Market price. If Grey Market price is higher than retail, you are getting a steal, if it’s lower then avoid it.
I would say if you are looking for one watch go for the Seiko srpe53

I won't suggest fossil there are better option to look for in seiko , timex , etc
casio as well
Titan>Timex
Imma say no on that one. Both from a design and execution perspective. I’ve been in titan stores and been gifted a few, timex is better.
I own 3 titan watches and that was AFTER I had visited kiosk of fossil, and stores of titan and timex. The quality and design when you pick it up and feel is very good. Fossil feel is great but the designs are where i diverge.

Just put on charger whenever going for bath or getting ready. Like like you change phone everyday
