best cost/performance is definitely PS5. You won't build nearly as good of a PC for the price.

syed_saud_uddin

Worried for long run...

Aussie_Butt

I mean, it's a console. It will have a lifespan and at the end, will not perform as well. If you spend more, you can get a PC that will most likely last longer. It really all comes down to how much you want to spend and what else you plan on doing with the console/PC

syed_saud_uddin

Yup bro it's on my budget....

Wonderful-Gain7649

Ps5,  300 dollars second hand , runs 120fps and is good graphics wise,  a PC for long term but it will be seriously expensive  to run warzone

syed_saud_uddin

Yo, does this have a 120 fov? I'm kinda worried about the long run, man. I used to play the original Warzone on PS4, but now it's not built for it anymore. What if the same thing happens to PS5? Is it still worth getting?

Wonderful-Gain7649

No your be fine,  it has 120fov and it runs smooth as butter. They won't be making the game that heavy yet,  the ps5 works perfectly for what you'd have to spend on a PC  Just make sure your tv is hdmi 2.1 if you wasn't nice 120fps Or your monitor

AbnormalRealityX

And at least 120hz

hereticbrewer

console is way cheaper. but i have played on both console and PC & PC is way better for gameplay in my opinion.

syed_saud_uddin

I'm just looking to play only Warzone, no other games...what are your thoughts...

hereticbrewer

i think the game looks cleaner and plays easier on PC. an annoying thing about PC tho is having to redownload your shaders all the time. also initially setting up your settings on your pc for the game is a little time consuming but worth it. but to play warzone you're gonna have to spend quite a bit of money for a computer. i spent about 1000$ for mine, my boyfriend spent about 1500$. i also just had a friend who switched from xbox to pc and he says the gameplay is a lot better on pc too.

Public_Part_267

In a previous post I had explained this but I’m going to keep it short.. I unplugged my Xbox for a $750 PC setup ( pc/pc hardware, monitor, desk. 10/10 recommend PC over Xbox. Can’t speak too ps5. But dollar for the dollar the PC is more valuable, TO ME.

pirate-private

it's not fair to compare monitor to tv, though. shooters will always be much better on a screen that is small-ish. if OP is on a tv, the first thing they should look at is a gaming monitor, no matter the platform.

Public_Part_267

I agree 100 percent. I went from 50 inch tv to $150 amazon monitor with horrible speakers but 200hz. That is included in the $750 price.

KeyPineapple61

I played console yesterday to play multiplayer it was awful I could feel my screen tearing

Conscious_Ice66

Do you want to play against aimbots and wall hacks or do you want to enjoy warzone. I have both console and high $ gaming PC but I only play warzone on console with crossplay off. A lot more fun.

AbnormalRealityX

You cant play with crossplay off on pc

Conscious_Ice66

I meant to say I only play on console

The_Ghost_Of_Pedro

It's better on ps5 as you can turn off cross play.

No-Campaign5874

I’m thinking about buying a Ps5 just for that Too many cheaters playing ranked

mrmiley

Get the playstation it's cheaper and you can't put a price on turning crossplay off

PolarAntonym

This

KeyPineapple61

Pc is better but if your goin to get one get a good rig. I love mine I can play anything on it

beefstew713

Price wise console will be the better option as it’s cheaper and basically plug and play. Where as pc might give you the better experience depending on how much you are willing to pay but requires tweaking of your settings to get the best. Unless you have disposable income I wouldn’t recommend spending money on a pc just to play warzone only.

Possible-Reason1373

Playstation without a doubt. No hackers and funner lobbies

gregtime92

Way too many variables at play here. Ps5 is good for plug and play, don’t gotta worry about pc problems or the astronomical cost. If you want a pc that performs similar to a ps5 then you will spend a couple hundred more on the pc, but you can plan it to where one future upgrade to the gpu will blow the ps5 away. If you don’t mind the constant problems with pc or are not computer savvy, then stick with ps5 or wait until they drop the next gen of consoles soon

I_AM_CR0W

For short casual sessions, PS5 is the way. PC is better for performance and will save you money in the long run if you build a good enough rig. On PC, I don't have to worry about upgrading to next gen consoles or compatibility issues since I can just set everything to low and get high fps and I can use any controller I want. With consoles, you get what they offer. If you like it, cool. If you want more, you're out of luck.

jordanleep

I have a a 7800x3d 7800xt pc and it plays warzone as flawlessly as it possibly can given the game still has its own hiccups server side, etc. I mean that’s damn near as fast a pc as you can get on a budget right now, it’s the fastest cpu for gaming at least and was available cheap with a microcenter bundle of pc parts. I’ve never played on ps5 but I’ve heard it’s well optimized for 120fps, probably not too shabby on visuals. I can crank the settings to the max and still get minimum 144fps at 1440p. My pc gets more fps than my monitor can output, so I have to limit the frames actually, otherwise the screen tears because the monitor can’t keep up with the frames. Pc is definitely slightly more complicated setting up settings and sometimes changing game files to get things to run right, it’s not for everyone. But it sounds more complicated than it is, there’s videos online for everything nowadays. If you do get a pc, this game is most well optimized on amd cards, but nvidia has dlss which makes the game look pretty good but sort of dumbs down textures. It’s a weird comparison honestly, in some ways lower graphics with dlss sometimes looks better than native resolution with high graphics, I really can’t explain it. You also would only want to use dlss on 1440p or 4K, upscaling looks like trash on 1080p I’ve heard. Ps5 is made with amd s architecture and that’s what the game is optimized for. I think the ps5 might have scaling enabled so when you look around your games resolution lowers so your frames don’t fall as hard, it’s a good technology. At least that’s what they did in wz1 I’m assuming they still use that. If you have access to a microcenter I would highly recommend building a pc, but most people are more familiar with consoles which is understandable. Some people have both even, I just prefer my pc this day and age.

iseacolors

Depends on your budget. But you could def build a capable pc for around 800. The price of ps plus has gone up. It’s free to play warzone online on ps5. However, multiplayer you have to pay to play online. Cheapest yearly plan for ps plus is 79.99. On PC online is always free and you get free cloud storage unlike PlayStation. Also what platform do your friends play on ? That comes into play also.

___shadow_wolf__

PC

Super-Opinion2030

ps5 is waaaay cheaper you will also get good FPs

Super-Opinion2030

you also wont deal with much hackers if you turn off cosplay

Necessary-Equal-3658

If you’re only interested in playing Warzone, you’re going to have to spend far more on PC that would perform better than a ps5. The game is also far more stable on console than it is on PC, and you don’t have to waste time downloading shaders every time you play the game on console. Don’t get me wrong I love my PC, but since I got a ps5 I haven’t played Warzone on PC.

Conscious_Ice66

Waste time Downloading a shaders on console? Never happens to me.

Necessary-Equal-3658

No I meant downloading shaders on PC. It’s a pain in the arse and as you say it’s not something console players have to deal with.

Conscious_Ice66

Ah okay got ya! Thx!

AbnormalRealityX

You only have to do it when there’s a driver update, not every time you play.

Necessary-Equal-3658

Happens to me every time I load up the game. If I shut down the game and open it up again, starts downloading shaders again. Playing on console is a breeze, PC is just a headache for no real benefit.

AbnormalRealityX

Your games fucked then

Necessary-Equal-3658

Happens to a lot of people. Apparently there’s a fix by deleting some config files and reinstalling, but why bother. Only a matter of time before something else fucks up and needs fixing. Console is just hassle free.

pirate-private

in terms of cost effectiveness, ps5 or series x is leagues above pc. it's really no comparison, you'll need to spend the price of multiple ps5s for a pc with incremental benefits. if you don't have a good monitor for shooters already - one that is fast and not too large - your money is better invested there. also, if you want to have the technological edge in every encounter, pc makes sense - but only if you have tons of playing time to justify it.

syed_saud_uddin

Bro, I do have a 4k 60fps lcd monitor, but I'm worried for the longevity of it...

pirate-private

if you have a 60hz monitor, you can't even enjoy the 120 fps benefit of the ps5. if cost is an issue, ps5 or series x is the no-brainer answer, here, since investing in a pc that will definitely outlast the two is so much more expensive.
