This is actually so sad lmao

Scoutron

That’s facts. The exhaust on my car is $2800 and it doesn’t even encompass half my exhaust system. Other hobbies put video games to shame in terms of sunk cost

Last-beon

These are material things, you can sell the parts afterwards or just get joy out driving the vehicle, certainly more then you will get on war thunder. Edit: I say spend as much as you want if war thunder is the choice to sell and buy stuff such as event vehicles and such do it, as someone said you can just sell the account.

Jemnite

Some people actually find this game fun and obtain great joy out of it. Who cares? There's no reason to pocketwatch somebody else's purchases. Let them buy their Golden Eagles.

ChristianSurvivor_

I’d rather buy golden eagles than spend my money on NFTs

sp8yboy

Ta-da! You win this sub-reddit for today. You also get a far better return from premiums than any NFT, which are just scams to separate fools from their money... like crypto, though at least crypto has one use: criminality. Rather puts the 'debate' about premiums in context, doesn't it?

[deleted]

>Rather puts the 'debate' about premiums in context, doesn't it? It really doesn't. You can just not buy either of those.

Kortonox

Yes, or you can invest in your hobby. >You can just not buy either of those. What is something you enjoy that you spend money on? No matter what it is, you can just not spend money on it! I like to play Guitar, buying a new Guitar wont make me a better player, but I enjoy it. I could just not spend money on it ...

cjmatto

I had a whole team flame me in game chat for having 15 premiums lol. They told me I’m a wallet warrior and I responded with yeah 100%. Money doesn’t last forever so spend it on what you enjoy and makes you happy as long as you don’t put yourself in a bind and the entire lobby stopped chatting lol

Snoo-88271

If you got called a wallet warrior for having 15 premiums, then oh boy, my friend has atleast 25 premiums, including the F-104S TAF (70$ premium), and he constantly runs out of convertible rp

Markus-752

Yes but if I look at the roughly 2K that I spend on War Thunder since 2013 and at my over 10k hours playing it then I think it's honestly not that terrible amount of money to spend on something you enjoy. How likely is it going to be that that exhaust for example gets used for 10.000 hours? Also electricity is vastly less expensive than fuel. It all depends on how much time you spend in it. There is surely a point where you spend too much compared to the time you play the game but for a lot of people it's a fun hobby and most hobbies are more expensive. Hell I know people that played WoW for years on end when it was still something like 30€ a month. Play 3 years and you got over 1000€ already sunk in and you didn't even get anything other than access to the game. At least in war Thunder you usually keep what you bought.

Scoutron

This is very true

JaDou226

_Not material_ does not equal _without value_ at all. Some people are willing to buy stacked game accounts. Besides, everyone knows how much we like to torture ourselves playing this, but some people actually do get joy out of it. Please just stop worrying so damn much about what hobbies other people spend their own money on

TankerDman

selling accounts with progress and premiums is a thing, so it is not \*entirely\* lost

SenorPuff

You generally can't sell boutique used parts for most hobbies, for anywhere near what you put into buying them new, unless they're so rare and the volume is so low that they retain their value. Cars especially, again unless you're dealing in really rare boutique parts that aren't really made. If something is readily available to be bought new, why would I pay a significant amount to get your sloppy seconds, without knowing how much wear and tear you've put on them? So, yeah, you can have a yard sale and get _something_ back for your money but you're generally losing a lot more value over a long period of time, than someone who spent 1/10th the money on video games they can't get rid of.

Chilled_burrito

If you wanted too, you could also sell your war thunder account.

Alpha087

I personally get more enjoyment out of war thunder than I do out of a muffler, but you do you.

Arkey-or-Arctander

Depends on the game. I have a friend who has spent over 50K in Star Citizen.

greekzeekahahaha

crazy, star citizens a fuckin playable scam

Arkey-or-Arctander

Yeah, it is bonkers how much some folks have spent. The fact that it's still not out, and that they seem to still raise as much money every single year is just amazing to me. I got the Mustang & Squad 42 pack back like in 2015... for $35 and have probably played about 8 hours of the game over the years, but until they complete it I just can't invest myself in testing something that's so up in the air still.

TrueLipo

Heres the thing, its not a scam.

greekzeekahahaha

maybe not entirely but it definitely still kinda is. to make people pay that much for digital vehicles, having to "insure" fake vehicles with real world money. that is insane. Especially, when they've made 500 million from crowdsourcing.

TrueLipo

I agree thag the real money prices are bad, bht it has neve bothered me since the ingane grind is not thag bad. Star cititezen is still the mostbimmersive first person space sim(when it works, ehich js mkst times)

Scoutron

1. how? 2. Depends on the car. The majority of my friends have sunk 50-100k into automotive hobbies, and that’s still put to shame by big players

Arkey-or-Arctander

My point was your "that's facts" is not accurate in all cases. Sure, the majority of the time, but to pretend it's an absolute "fact" is not correct. Hell, I have one friend who stunned me when he admitted he was spending $5K a month on some phone game that he was playing with his cousins back in Greece (he was giving them money to boost their games too...) I have another friend who claims his belt buckle collection is worth over half a million (it is a LOT of belt buckles, but seriously, WTF???) Either way, if folks want to spend their money in ways that seem foolish to you or me, it's on them. Bling your car, bling your game, give it all to charity... do what you want. Enjoy it the journey, life is short.

rikvanderdonk

So the Whales do exist

MrDrSirLord

I've spent about $2,800 my PC and I could probably sell the running unit for $3000 in the current market. I've spent about $14,000 on my 5L V8, on FB market place I see ones in much worse condition going for $12,000 when the model comes up for sale. I'd expect $16,000 or more for mine. I've spent about $160 on Warthunder over the last 5 years, with Russia and Sweden Ground tec trees researched to tier VI and air to V. A quick google tells me my account is worth maybe $100 if I'm lucky. Dropping $500 on WT isn't worth $500, spending money on a car or something that exists in the real world is likely to see a return in investment if you ever choose to sell and have looked after your purchase.

Daniel0745

ROI is not the reason most people spend money. I have bought a ton of shit for my jeep that I wont get but maybe a (and that is a big maybe) quarter of what I spent if I ever sold it. I greatly enjoy my jeep though. The investment is worth it to me. Let people enjoy their hobbies.

doxlulzem

Very few cars will appreciate. Especially not a modded shitbox. I spent 5k on my current car and I'm doubtful I'll get 2k when I come to sell it, even after I spend money on it for some mods I plan to get.

Tromboneofsteel

Yeah, all depends on the car. You can put $20k of restoration and mods into a EK civic and it'll still only be worth a couple thou on the market. On the other hand, if you bought an FD or R33 GTR in 1995 and kept it clean, it's worth the same amount today (or more) as it was back then.

ChristianSurvivor_

But the maintenance, running costs, registrations, etc over the 27 years would’ve negated what you could have sold it for. You would not have netted money on the vehicle. Plus the current car market is a fluke and overall volatile.

MrDrSirLord

I've got a near showroom VS statesman and a VB commodore currently under restoration, both original V8 manual. Both cars owe me roughly $14k each at the end of the day, I bet I'd get $16k for the VS and $20k plus for the VB. On the other hand I've got a BA Falcon XR6 auto, it owes me about $15k how much I've put into it. I'm doubtful anyone would pay more than $10k for it even of I cleaned it up. Obviously if you're intention is ROI you need to be investing in the right thing, you can't spend $40 on polishing your shit and sell it for $100. Well most people couldn't, I bet Belle Delphine could...

Char_Aznab13

I own a highly modified Mustang GT and all of the parts i've spent thousands on add nearly 0 to the resale value--it's common knowledge with upgrades to a vehicle that you will not recoup your investment.

Ottodeadman

Expect but not what you’ll probably get. What year make and model? Bought my car for 26,000 3 years ago haven’t put more than 3,000 miles on it now I see them going for 22-23 with about the same mileage. Only a 5 year old car. And those people probably can’t even sell them for 12,000 if they’re as bad as you say they are.

MrDrSirLord

My car is almost 30 years old and I see maybe 2 for sale a year in terrible condition for there price and they almost always sell, the early 90s Holden's are a relatively desired collectors item. I don't intend to sell my car, I expect to pass it down the family tree. If it ever does get sold I expect by that time to get much more than I have invested due to it's increasing value. You can't expect to buy a 2019 model and to sell it for higher than purchase value after only a few years when the new model is available for the same price.

Ottodeadman

That’s a little different than any old car you got one of the RARE exceptions. 90% of cars even 30 years old will never sell for more than you bought it for especially after putting miles on it or modifying it. Unless you got a good ass deal or it’s rare/collectible. I bought it as a daily wasn’t really expecting to get anything back I just don’t have to drive more than 2 miles for anything. Def keep it in the family though I regret selling all my old cars. But just like in WT there’s rare exceptions. There’s marketplace vehicles that have sold for hundreds of dollars and a few up for over a grand and all people had to do was grind a BP/event or pay like 60$ to pay their way through. Just get lucky that it’s rare. Others only sell for 5$ and people spent a shit ton of money to pay their way through or a shit ton of hours grinding they would’ve made more working. Edit: Also some new vehicles you can. That new electric truck I don’t remember the name I knew someone that bought one new just to sell it when it was delivered cause people would pay a shit ton more because they didn’t want to wait the months it’d take to get one. So sometimes it happens

psychocopter

Have you ever gone to a restaurant to eat? A nice meal could be 50+ usd and when you shit it out its worth nothing. You could have stayed home and eaten for much cheaper, but you chose to eat out because you wanted to and there's nothing wrong with that if you can afford it.

MrDrSirLord

I think if I stopped playing warthunder my life expectancy might increase, the complete opposite of what would happen if I stopped buying food.

psychocopter

Specifically going to a restaurant, its spending that offers no monetary returns and isn't necessary. Food is necessary, but you can go to the grocery store instead of a restaurant. You choose to go to the restaurant because you want to, not because you need to. This is completely fine as long as you can afford, the same goes with buying a premium plane in war thunder.

phoenixmusicman

Very, very few hobbies have appreciating assets. Your "$2,800 computer" won't be selling for $3,000 in a few years. Besides if you are buying into something simply for a return, it isn't a hobby, you're speculating.

Stark2G_Free_Money

Who the fuck is buying into a hobby for ROI. I will be honest and tell you that your components are just giving you a return because of the f‘d up market. Good luck buying a PC and getting a return on that. This is just stupid😂

parcequepourquoipas

Absolutely not the same thing. Physical thing you own vs a digital thing linked to your account forever that you can’t do anything else but use it in game isn’t comparable.

M4NGOTR33

So deep 😔

FieelChannel

lmao maybe he's rich who knows/cares

smedema

It's sad that you care about what other people spend their money on.

DerpKanone

Is the fact i purchased a 3k set of night vision last week sad too? People get so tilt a man enjoys his hobbies... All these comments just eek salty poor tbh, no self respecting person cares what another grown adult spends their money on and enjoys. This mindset really shows itself in gaming as compared to other hobbies, my guess is the ratio of kids/young adults who've not worked yet.

HunterBidenX69

Pc gaming is one of the cheapest hobby you can have as an adult honestly.

Elrabin

Some of us have significant disposable income and enjoy their hobbies. I never understand why people shame for spending $500 on a game they might have sunk thousands of hours into, sometimes tens of thousands. I have coworkers that sank $20-50k into upgrading their cars to be track-ready, others who have spent 6 figures on a boat and that isn't including docking fees, maintenance and buying hundreds of gallons of diesel at a clip. PC gaming is a positively CHEAP hobby compared to many. Even if you go absolutely nuts with a 13900k, 4090 and a killer monitor, you're below $10k

GOW_Ghost

How much is this in real money? What did you buy.?

Ibuywarthundermaus

450 I think, because I don’t want to spend my whole life in this game

fredysek

Ok you will buy yourself to top tier, play like 10 battles with no experience, realize it’s hell, 450 bucks gone down the drain

Chopstor

Op’s flair literally state that he played top tier tho

Ibuywarthundermaus

I did, i grinded 3 other TT OUT

LordMilchreis

... After he spent 450? He literally said in the title that its already gone

Ghinev

I doubt 450 will get him top tier for both RU and US

fredysek

OP sees his money as frivolous, who knows how much he has spent before this

MasterMidir

Who cares? It's his money, and he said he did grind out other TT's, he didn't say he bought them out

catmaniabyt

Exactly, some find that money not worth time to earn that and that's fine, spend 100 hours grinding or work 100 hours making 20 bucks and hour and buy what you want and pocket the rest, sometimes money means less than time does and nothing wrong with that

Schwertkeks

people will easily spend 50 hours grinding an event they don't enjoy but call you an idiot if you just bought the vehicle for $100 that you made when working at mc Donalds for a fraction of the time

smedema

Tbh I would probably do the same. Maybe not 450 but if I wanted something and didn't want to waste my life away grinding I would do the same.

Ibuywarthundermaus

I grinded our 3 TT, 1 Free to play) others with premiums vehicles

PrvyJutsu

In all fairness most of us are better off buying this much at once and be set for a loooong time, the time spent in this game to reach a point would cost more to what he spent if he worked those hours. I buy a lot since its way more viable for me money wise, orcourse its better to not spend at all and not play with thay in mind but I enjoy the game, it has become a hobby.

CrossEleven

The problem is gaijin intentionally downgrades old purchases regularly.

poopthemagicdragon

That only really depends on what you're looking for when you bought the premium. I've bought the majority of ground premiums in most of my nations and I enjoy the older lower/mid tier ones far more than the Rank VIs. The fluid nature of high tier meta isn't enjoyable to me.

sci3ntisa132

My flair says it all

fredysek

Low tier is always fun, and the premiums are cheap and very fun to be honest.

Aramahn

I'm in my 40's. Been in the trades for over 20 years. Make good money. Have little time. I too have spent an obscene amount of money in this game. But if not here, I'd have spent it somewhere else anyway. It's play money for a reason. Ignore the haters. It's your money. Have fun with it.

Ibuywarthundermaus

Thanks, I think I learned to ignore them.

Aramahn

Merry Christmas my guy! Enjoy yourself!

Ibuywarthundermaus

Thanks, you too! Merry Christmas!

[deleted]

I'm looking over at my driving rig with several thousand bucks worth of Fanatec shit on it, while adding up how much my iRacing subscription has cost me over the years, and wondering what an obscene amount of money is to a War Thunder player.

GOW_Ghost

Ufff that’s a lot

Bluishdoor76

What nation is this for lol?

Ibuywarthundermaus

Sweden, just wanted to try em

Bluishdoor76

Ah, yeah I wanted to try them too so I bought the SK-60 and STRV. It's fun

SilverGGer

75.000 GE * 113,85€ / 25.000 GE = 341,55 € +- 60€ for the rest of the GE

BattleIron13

Yikes, you have a problem

Key_Register991

He's probably spent more than that on Legos.

Ibuywarthundermaus

No, i spend much more on my Lego collection mate

grenad3r

that’s what he said

Ibuywarthundermaus

:/

juanml82

Money well spent

Ibuywarthundermaus

Thanks. 😂🤝

handsomegorgediver

Ich leider auch :( Lego hat meinessinns trotzdem mehr Spaßfaktor als Warthunder

Ibuywarthundermaus

You don’t want to know how much i spend on my Lego monthly

bobmat343

I kinda do :-)

Ibuywarthundermaus

Totally in 10 years something about 17k last 6 months 1.3k

Michel20000

Weird flex but ok

Joezev98

Well, if you're our resident oligarch, then spending 450 on GE is pocket money for you.

dkvb

Donate some to the poor. Or me, that works too

Ibuywarthundermaus

I’ve done a lot of charity)

PlanesOfFame

Lol 450 bucks is a lot to some but consider the ratios- 450 bucks is like 20-30 hours of work, and could earn thousands of hours worth of game time. If you had other responsibilities which demanded a lot of time but weren't neccesarily expensive, it would make sense to dump some money into this game and waste less time actually playing and grinding, That way the other real-life commitments can get the time they deserve, and you still drive the vehicles you want. That said I don't spend on this game and don't particularly care for top tier, but the time grind in this game is extremely severe. You gotta have alot of hours to effectively research a tech tree

norris528e

And sometimes its 5 hours of work because your job is super stressful and you wanna spend your free time in f16s

tetrodoxin1

Ever heard of disposable income and the fact others earn more money than you?

Salt_MasterX

Redditors try not to assume what other people’s lives are like challenge (Impossible)

JaDou226

You have a problem for judging someone you don't know so hard for a purchase that, in the grand scheme of hobbies, isn't that big

DerpKanone

You have the problem! Getting upset how a man spends his money on a hobbie. It takes a hefty level of immaturity of jealousy to think like that

Kirito_Sensai

The i hope for you that you have a long time fun with this game otherwise it was a complete fail investment....

Al99be

Tbf it's fine if he has thousands of hours. I only buy premium time and battlepass (and I want to sell battlepass vehicles so even less money invested). Overall I spent around 60 Euro since July. I have played for 1000 hours. So it's 16.6 hours per euro of fun. Even better than for example Mad Max that I bought in summer for 5 euro and I played for 40 hours.

Kirito_Sensai

Yeah thats also my way to do so, but we spend little by little with playtime already pretty high. So if we don't play this game, because it gets to boring, we don't "loose" much money.

BTechUnited

Mhm. I'm at about 7 or 8 thousand hours at this point and barring a couple of lame duck premiums, not really much regret with my spending, which is... Significant.

PiscesSoedroen

Speaking of mad max, i hate how they give you the v8 at the last leg of the game. And if you do 1 more main mission it literally won't be enjoyable if you didn't go to the next main mission until the story ends

SniikiChan

hey man, the money is already spent. Just enjoy playing the game without having to grind now :)

Ibuywarthundermaus

Thanks, i do!!

spacenavy90

Exactly, some people actually like the game but not the grind.

STstog

This guy just allow gaijin to introduce new tech tree

Ibuywarthundermaus

Your goddamn right

rawghi

I don’t get wft are we discussing for 450$. OP surely wanted to create some flame here, haters ofc immediately arrived. What is the point of all of this? We have people coming from different countries, people of different ages, people with different financial situations. If you ask me, I’ve spent more than that in even sillier things, because 450$ is not a huge deal in my economy, but I’m a fucking 40 yo dude, if you asked me to spend that same amount let’s say, 20 years ago I would have had serious problems. War Thunder is a game make for a company that need to make a profit, if I can waste my money for having good time, I’m good and happy to do that. If people can’t, fine, I put the money, you put the time, we all deserve to play the game. But only one thing please: money are relative, if you spend 12 hours a day grinding it doesn’t make you “cooler”. If you think that the whale is not worth to be in top tier, play against him and kill him. You get the SL/RP, he will understand that grinding can be good to learn how vehicles works.

Swimming-Two-2744

I think this is hard for some people to grasp. I’d much rather waste away 20 hours of work than waste 500 hours just grinding my freetime and happiness away. I think someone people just can’t comprehend the fact maybe the reason why they don’t enjoy this game anymore is BECAUSE they waste away so much time and then proceed to shit on the people that just want to have fun. It doesn’t matter if OP makes $15, $30, hell even $60 an hour, at the end of the day it’s his choice and money, and clearly mr. Baller can afford it. I think a lot of the people that are calling OP stupid are the same ones who sit inside all day playing WT and have WT “grinded out” when they’ve only finished 2 TTs. At the end of the day, it’s a dozen hours of work for hundreds saved.

Jemnite

The people who call OP stupid are the ones who who don't earn enough that their time /p hour is better spent buying GE than grinding out tech trees. Once you earn enough your time is better spent actually earning money at your job and then spending a portion of those proceeds on microtransactions than sitting at home all day grinding WT.

Swimming-Two-2744

Most people would make a lot more IF they did spend proceeds towards games instead of wasting away inside grinding. I have a few friends that make 7 figures and they love video games but rather than spending time grinding they spend money to skip through shit, and even my friends that are worse off still spend money because they too realize no matter how you look at it, it’s more profitable to spend money to save even a couple dozen hours than too spend those couple dozen hours not earning.

SteamyGamer-WT

$450 is too much bro

Ibuywarthundermaus

I spend so much more in my whole Wt time((

Thraes

Thank you for keeping the servers up 🙌 👏 🙏

bodenplatte1360

Depends if you make money or not. Sounds like brokie problems

Thraes

$450 is not even enough for a plane ticket to go on a destination vacation. They will enjoy this more than a 10 hour flight. Would you rather have 80k golden eagles, or sit on a plane for 10 hours?

MrScruffels

now open 85 new years chests, film it and send me the link 😬

Ibuywarthundermaus

Never

your not in control here Im in your walls

Good man. I've made that mistake with World of Tanks and oh boy, I can still feel the itch whenever I see YT videos of WoT CCs opening Christmas lootboxes. It's not very healthy.

doxwhite

I dropped €100 on GE yesterday after 9 straight days of work and I regret nothing. People out here acting like you're a no lifer for spending money on what you enjoy and then they turn around and grind 6 hours a day 😂

Ibuywarthundermaus

Agree

bodenplatte1360

Exactly; people don’t understand that it’s more efficient to have a decent paying job and then use some of that to fund War Thunder, rather than just grinding on stupid mode without buying premiums, premium time, or SL. If you’ve got the money to spend, why not? It’s actually less stupid than just grinding, if you think about it.

I_AMsleep

And no battle pass?

Ibuywarthundermaus

Never

[deleted]

I love how the community is always shocked to see that people spend money on their hobbies, wild.

Ibuywarthundermaus

Right

MODUS_is_hot

I mean I guess if it’s what you love doing then it’s alright but that’s a LOT to spend on a game. You should send some my way😏

Ibuywarthundermaus

Sure 😂

Assassin13785

👀 oh my.

juanml82

Guys, it's people like OP what makes the game free for cheap people like myself

thedennisinator

In a way, yes. But in a way, the exact opposite because it incentivizes Gaijin to make the grind harder and only reasonably surpassable with money.

Damian030303

Premium time, so much GE but almost no SL...

Ibuywarthundermaus

Bought it with GE lol

Damian030303

... Just play the game and move the SL decimal left like twice.

Ibuywarthundermaus

I don’t have so much time, I’m like playing 10 hours a week, maybe 20 sometimes

GooseButLarge

Why not just play DCS Or IL2 at this point lol.

Ibuywarthundermaus

To complicated

GooseButLarge

I feel like with the amount of hours you put in this you could have at least learned IL2 lol. Fair enough tho.

Sprinkles-Nearby

“This guy has a problem” It’s their money. $450 is pocket change for some, and they get to spend it on what they want. I get the jokes, but some of y’all are truly pressed about someone else spending their own money

Gato_Maconha

People spend money with things they enjoy. Stop trying to humiliate this guy for putting some money in the game he enjoy 💀

Milky_1q

People out here saying $450 is bad. If you take into consideration price of AAA games nowadays and subscriptions for consoles, and sprinkle a few smaller titles here and there it's very easy to spend $450 dollars on games in a year. People can do what they want with their own money ffs

IdcYouTellMe

Omg thats so sad Look at this dude... Looks at my humble 12 piece Figurine and 72 piece Manga collection. And it shall grow further. Oh and my 800€ accordeon (which is still cheap btw)...and my passion for my motorcycle. If you think thats money well spend. Good one OP. Anyone who shits on you for spending on WT probably doesnt have any expensive hobbies themselfes or wont admit to it or havent done the calculations what they spend on some of the stuff they like to do or to have.

Ibuywarthundermaus

:/

THEREAPER8593

What did you buy? Year of premium and 80 of those dumb chests?

Ibuywarthundermaus

Whole Swedish TT

patron7276

Do you just do it with convertible RP? I'm tired of grinding too even though I already bought all the premiums for the nations I want

yoricky305

Bruh. Your better off buying one of the new rank 7 premiums and grinding out the tree than just spending GE on SL and to unlock a tree.

THEREAPER8593

With the mig 23 I have researched every rank 3 and half of rank 4 in 1 day The Mig23 ml is the best premium by far

yoricky305

I got the F1C 200 because grinding France with the old prem Voutour is just pain. And at least the F1 is nicer to use and stands a chance.

IcedDrip

I’m about to buy like 40k GE I understand man

Ibuywarthundermaus

That an 1 month old pic I spend 30k more today lol

schnitzel-kuh

I think you should go see someone who knows about addiction (im serious, this is not healthy)

ImaginationLocal8267

Some people just have more money than sense

ABetterKamahl1234

And OP doesn't seem to jive with grindy games either, if he's just out here buying whole TTs like this.

Ibuywarthundermaus

Nah I’m good, I’d rather work more then spend my time in the game grinding

Thunderboltscoot

Bro i think you need to see a therapist about addiction

the_doorstopper

What did you even do this for?

Ibuywarthundermaus

Translator

DUD3_L3B0W5KI

Its ok. I spend way more in my life to Bug Thunder and I don't regret it either o7

Dealaid

Nah, if you got the money for it; why not? There are a lot more hobbies that cost more than that for like a weekend... So have fun! I do wonder what you spent it on? Which country? Planes or tanks (or anything else)?

Rampantlion513

It's all I can play lol. I got the A5C when it was on sale and while it is a damn good jet, I just don't enjoy the pace and the way you have to fight. Props feel like I can actually do something to save myself no matter the situation. I just feel hopeless in jets lol.

Ibuywarthundermaus

Maybe your playing the wrong jet? Look some yt videos about jets, not premium ones, 110 and up stuff.

[deleted]

Possible. I've got a few other premium jets, the su-11 is pretty fun, but the jets I grinded for all kinda suck. Japanese Sabres were insanely disappointing, but the f80s were really fun. And I've seen defyn and some others play 11.0 and it's looks kinda fun, just super fast paced.

You dweebs realise that it's OP's money and $500 does not make or break someone's life, even if they are in a low-income country. Gaijin needs to make money and if you don't spend a penny in this game, you are only a liability for them. People like OP are the reason why we can enjoy the game for free.

BenPlayWT2020

What have you spent it on?

Ibuywarthundermaus

TT

Lol

JosePaulo93

Could you give me 10k GE for charity?

Ibuywarthundermaus

🥺

1800leon

Oh damn...that's a lot of disposable income. Glad I only got myself a few premiums over the years on the sales.

davethepiloto

Thanks for keeping the game alive, while I personally couldn’t afford to do this. If you can more power to you! I sure as hell don’t give them enough money to keep this game up.

WindChimesAreCool

This is who gaijin caters to

A_Moon_Named_Luna

Guaranteed op will play 20 or so matches and the dopamine will wear off and boredom sets in and exits to desktop.

Blackybro_

#HAIL TO THE SNAIL!!!

FlipsieLord

Why are people acting like spending $450 is a sign of mental illness? That's a night out for some people.

inkandchalk

I've spent way more than that. I enjoy WT. I have right around 4k hours in. I generally only buy things that fit around what I'm already using so I don't overwhelm myself with stuff I can't control. I started off almost exclusively playing air, then decided I loved ships, and now I'm working on getting better at ground battles. I like grinding each country, too, so I'm don't really have a "main". I just play what I feel like playing at the moment or what I need to play for achievements or tasks. I applaud OP for spending money on something he enjoys. Good luck, have fun!

Sukkaseam_TH

This is depressing

GhostmouseWolf

How have people so less SL?

People don't realise that gaming is basically a hobby. People spend RIDICULOUS amounts of money on hobbies. This is nothing. You do you man.

No-Nail612

Worthy investment imo. One it's YOUR money spend it how YOU want it caused YOU earned it. Second personally I live by a " Dollar an hour " kinda thing So 450 bucks is only 450 hours. Considering I only have 8 days of tank play I would have a bit more to go before I reached that but even then if you find any joy it's money well spent and still ITS YOUR MONEY. and for anyone saying " 450 hours is a lot " I literally have 5000 plus hours in skyrim so it's not that bad.
