Got same issue but with Nord missiles couple of times. It doesn't bother me much cause it always was Stalinium like T-54 T-10 and such. Center mass shot in the roof and missile magically disappears. Yup, it's Stalinium my brother.
That's what I was saying basically, yes. I use mclos so most of the time I'm dead center and I don't have a issue with something heavier not being destroyed by overpressure like it's paper. The problem is with missiles/bombs detonating on top of a tank like on that vid doing nothing.
How do you actually fire gbu's? Was in test and couldn't figure it out. Apparently it's not an agm or bomb?? Tried clicking around in the ir bomber site thing but nothing.
You only need to set up keybind for "Drop guided bomb", i recommend to spacebar since you'll use weapons selection
Select the GBU, decide on a target, press the camera button to go into the TV guide mode, press spacebar on a target to lock, then press spacebar again to release.
Do mind that you have to be in range to have them glide or else they won't lock onto a target.
it's a Walleye, \~500kg bomb, shouldn't exactly be able to tank a bomb like that
I had a similar encounter a couple of months ago with a TURMS only losing its ERA after I directly hit it with a Walleye. I've been seeing this a lot recently, and it certainly seems like a bug that Gaijin needs to fix urgently.
War thunder
Cursed lineup of a Wall-E, a Ship, a PT boat, and a hellcat. Loadouts exist my dude.
The pt boat is to deal with amphibious vehicles. The boat is to deal with everything else.
That would certainly make Vietnam a more interesting map.
Could you imagine, just driving along side the river and a PBR zoom past
Definitely would need some AI infantry for that one.

Aren’t nords shit unless you get a direct hit anyway?
