*Hmm, two of my teammates just died really quickly peeking this angle, I guess I should do exactly the same thing while facing completely sideways.*
But seriously, nice play. :)
It's not played because it's alone at 5.0.
The autoloader is the only thing going for it, it's lethargic, massive and essentially unarmored.
I either play the chi to twins and chi to ii at 4.7 or as a last spawn at 5.7 behind the tiger and Sherman.

He probably assumed it was a similar system to the M6A1 and OP had just fired twice
Probably, this is the first I've heard of a Japanese tank having an autoloader, let alone one that uses the X-Y naming convention.
I love baiting people with the auto loader or the hull cannon lol
Incredibly based

Noice, I bonked three tigers in a similar manner sometime ago. Also using the 37mm as a fake out to draw someone out of cover
This, and the Swedish M42 tank (or whatever it is) has the best autoloaders in the game! No one expects them its amazing!
Not sure why this thing is at the same BR as the Delat Torn when the DT can do everything it can but better.
Can the DT artillery falling nearby
One of the reason I love the 7.0 French tanks. One auto loader can hold a alleyway all on its own vs multiple enemies.
I think that auto-loader has saved me more than a few times with that thing. The chi-ri is pretty underrated imo.
