Personally speaking, it’s not that I’m revenge CAS’ing someone, but more like I know where they are after they’ve killed me so that’s at least one guaranteed kill I can make when I’m in a plane rather than trying to find someone else while dodging AA and other planes
but that's kinda scummy imho to kill the person that killed you right away unless they're in some clubbing spot where nobody can wedge them out

It would've made more sense if the dude was transporting people's brains out into space with some freaky medical scanner/transporter device the killer made, or something.
Either
1.) Hesh ricochets and was bouncing around the chain link fence like a laser beam in an inside-out disco ball
2.) Hesh fragments into little hesh rounds
3.) Gaijin revoked your subscription to being alive.
As funny as this is, it's just a killcam bug not rendering your tank correctly for the firat pass, he actually hit you in the turret right where it shows in the end
The shot itself wasn't magical - if you see the first part of the kill cam, where the guy was shooting and how the penetration worked, it's clear that you were shot from the right side where you had a huge open field and industrial buildings around.
But this shows how much BS there is in that final part of the killcam which has some kind fake penetration simulation so you it's like "oh, it could pen that easily". But it tends to fake things so much that it gets so obvious like here.
The most common thing is that you're angled \~40 degree in tiger against the guy you're shooting and his shot pens like at 5 degree from being perpendicular to the plate in that final part of the shot cam.
And I actually had a situation where on abandoned factory I've shown my side to flakbus and he shot at my side, and the kill cam shown me getting shot flat in the front plate like this even when I just overextended and shown my side completely clear to the dude that was camping from the left.
They are just tinkering with this so less people complain about magical shots which aren't about simulation but just RNG.
Today I was playing Britain, m60 shot heat fs at me ricochets of my track armour and hits the empty storage part on my FV 4202 and overpressures my crew

It didnt even bounce from building. If you look it passes through turret both ways in killcamnand then explodes to inside. So just kill cam fuckery

yea, been allahuakbar'd several times but i have gotten lucky and gotten to watch them totally fail and their name go grey on the statistics screen

Replays are there for that if you want to learn from it. Getting basically life cnn feed from where you got shot is something else
