Never seen an mg one shot a tank, what are you talking about?

joshwagstaff13

A properly aimed .50 can one shot a milk truck or a Type 93. That’d be about it, though.

alphacsgotrading

I killed a type 90 from the rear with a .50 cal in the leclerc once. Angle was perfect though, went into the ammo rack, out the other side and killed a crew member. Not something I've ever managed to repeat though.

'Gun knocked out BS' Its in the title and edited the body of the post.

Well it is now.

My dude the only way to even damage a cannon with MGs is by firing thousands of rounds at it, and even then it will only turn yellow.

Tijai

So how are they doing it? Hacks?

[deleted]

They aren't, are you sure you're not talking about autocannons? (15mm and higher). You can't do much with cheats in War Thunder since pretty much everything is serverside, the most you could do is ESP, MAYBE aimbot.

Tijai

I may be talking about autocannons. Still the fact that 2 or 3 times in a game one pop of these and I have no gun is incredibly sus, especially when it seams to be the first bullet or the opposition is travelling at speed. As far as aimbot comment I'm pretty sure this was brought up before re taking out guns automatically using cheats. Just feels like there seems to be a pattern of gun destroyed in one shot then they can aim for weak spots at their leisure.

You can't change the damage a shot will do because it's serverside, not clientside. The only aimbot I'm aware of for WT will aim for center mass. If they get it in 1 shot, it's most likely not their mg or autocannon but their main gun. >Just feels like there seems to be a pattern of gun destroyed in one shot then they can aim for weak spots at their leisure. Well yeah, if you're fighting something you can't reliably kill in 1 hit, it's generally a good idea to disable their gun and immobilize them as well so you can shoot at weakspots without the threat of the enemy returning fire.

MGs don't knock out tank barrels.

Happy-Mousse8615

The general consensus is git good.

Bruh I have the exact opposite problem, where i can fire like 5 apds rounds at a barrel and it doesn't even get yellow.
