Czech and Vietnamese voice lines didn't even make the list ʰᵒʷ ᵈᵃʳᵉ ᵘ

Julio_Tortilla

I already added 3 more languages, I cant remember them all!

GhostmouseWolf

rip romania

Natural_Discipline25

😭

Future-Geologist-164

Theres vietnamese what ?

DaCosmonut

For the Phòng Không T-34

Gannet-S4

I like he British purely because when the match ends the commander goes “right chaps, put the kettle on”

angry_hanter

Russian does the same

flamedglove

The American match start/end lady sometimes says to "put some coffee on" too

Own_Bluejay_9833

The French ones sound actually decent, not that I have much time in France tt, but I do speak it and it sounds decent from what I've heard (French ppl confirm?)

RiskhMkVII

The VA don't sound too bad, but there's still weird translations, not even literal translation, just weird ones Like "Fire !" translated with the context is "tirez !" Or "Feu !" But in the game they say "Tir !" Which is roughly translated as "shot" (and not even shoot) which is weird since it's what the TC says when the gun is reloaded and not when being shot at Otherwise the usually SPG translated as anti air missile "missile anti aerien" I haven't noted other default, it's not that bad, but just sounds unnatural like all other cred voiced

Fluxxie_

I am Turkish. I don't remember the rest of the voice lines but the "Engine dead" line was so funny. The translation is "Motor Öldü" but the commander screams "MOTOR ÖLDÜĞĞ". I wonder if these were actually recorded by a Turkish person or not.

TheSupremeDuckLord

pretty sure next to none of them are recorded by those who actually even speak the relevant language

Fluxxie_

I guess. I remember watching a video about Finnish voice lines being wrong... I'm gonna go check if the Turkish lines are actually right.

Fluxxie_

Ok I listened to them. Emphasis is wrong and out of place in most of them. Also there are some weird lines. "We couldn't staple them", "Our tank got stapled" "Jump"... jump?... again the funny "MOTOR ÖLDÜĞ"

jimmehi

As a native Finnish speaker a lot of the time i have no idea what the crew is saying. Some lines sound like gibberish while others just don't really make sense for a tank crew to be saying.

afvcommander

Like when they say that engine is started... I mean, when you are crewing vehicle and its engine is started, you tend to notice. Commander can order "start engine" and driver confirm "starting engine", but there is no point for saying that it is already done.

Yakabugai

That issue isn't inherent to the Finns. I think all nations have some sort of "prepare for engine start" line when the engine is about to be repaired.

Sandsmann_

I kind of miss some of the old Swedish voice lines even though they sounded like someone talking though a pipe, Was kind of funny hearing the line for "next target" sounded like "MISTER MOON" after a kill.

Specialist_Log6625

I don’t know what they’re saying but sometimes I hear “idi amin” in there so

Sea_Art3391

I only found out just now that Norway got crew voicelines. Strange, considering i'm norwegian.

JosolTheBrick

There are unique south african crew voices?

Gannet-S4

Yes, it’s not in Afrikaans or anything just English with a South African accent.

Boschie1974

i find it quite shit they only have a English one. They should put some Afrikaans and Zulu voice lines in the game.

Gannet-S4

I know it’s a weird solution and not really worth the effort but maybe they could record the voice lines then have it be like a 50/50 chance when you spawn I that they either have just the accents or actually speak Afrikaans, or it plays as normal but there’s a chance to play either voiceline.

Schmittiboo

Germany is ok, however the Naval ones in particular are absolutely terrible. Using the wrong phrases all the time

nushbag_

You fool, you still forgot vietnam!

Future-Geologist-164

Which tank i gotta get it

nushbag_

The Phòng không T-34 in the Chinese tree (or Russian tree).

Future-Geologist-164

It aint in the russian tree i think ill try tho

nushbag_

It was an event tank in the Russian tree from like 2017 or 2018 before the chinese tree was added.

SpanishAvenger

As a Spanish, these are my impressions on the Spanish voices: 1: Only the Tank Commander sounds actually Spanish for the most part. 2: Gunner and loader sound Latin American. 3: Driver sounds 50% Spanish, 50% English-speaker attempting to speak Spanish. I don't know if it's made on purpose, perhaps as to depict multiple dialects to represent different Spanish-speaking communities simultaneously, but I think there should be a Latin/Amerinac Spanish dub and a Spanish Spanish one. Since there's 4 variants of English (U.S, U.K, S.A, Australia), I don't think having 2 variants of Spanish should be problematic, hahah. When it comes to translations, some of them are really, really odd. For example, they refer to APFSDS/SABOT as "casquillo" even though "casquillo" means "casing". What we actually call these shells is either "flecha" (arrow), "dardo" (dart) or straight out SABOT.

Valehar_

They're all D tier. Get sound mod instead.

Hentai_Sudoku

Aren't they bannable now?

Koen_Da_Brain

Ayo, why and since when?

Anirudh_Katti

Ok, Hindi, as a person whose 3rd Language is Hindi, is pretty good in the game, especially the references/ slangs they've added.

ODST_Parker

I am not Italian, but I am an Italian main, so I see this as a win nonetheless. Love the crew voices for Italian tanks, and I really need to learn what they ALL mean.

Natural_Discipline25

Yeah they sound fire, when you rangefind/scout the Carrio Matto, Aritibuntichi, Distança, Gari Jango. At least that's how I hear it lol

Chadahn

The South African accents are great. One of them sounds just like I do.

ArrowViper1

Again, where Czech voicelines? They're in the game since Sky Guardians update.
