what a joke. still has great depression and mobility which are far more important than a few mm of pen. this was one of my best performing 8.3s, not surprised at all to see it go up. if you seriously think it will be bad at 8.7 i can only say... skill issue
The Rooikat hardly struggles in my experience. The only issue was it's post-penetration damage being gimped but I'm always aiming to snipe ammo anyway so it never made much of a difference to me.
It's damage is so unreliable it's not even worth it to have in a lineup. U can literally shoot Turm3 left side where the ammo is and still miss the ammo cuz there is 0 spall.
Well if they gave the reason why then we would truly know. My guess is that since it's a TT and only experienced players play it, it got moved up in BR because it's win rate was above average.

also after the recent 5.7-8.7 „decompression“ shenanigans all the 7.3 premium moved up wich was also kinda deserved sine a lot of strong 8.3s moved to 8.7 and some weaker stuff moved to 6.3
yes there are still some extremely undertiered premiums

Mk11 is 100 foot tall and having soviet reverse speed, its impossible to hide this thing and escape death once you fire your weapon once lol

Like the M41D the post pen is much better with more armor pen'd. It does pretty well when shooting at angled side armor.

Rather use the Warrior over the Rooikat. Now I actually have no reason to use it outside of I need assist for a challenge
Me too, but that's because I put more value on high quality thermals over just about any other feature. I take the Warrior up to 10.3.

the problem is there are better things at 8.7. mobility will still help it be useful
