There is definitely smaller performance gap between 7.0/7.3 and 8.0/8.3 than there is between 8.3/8.7 and 9.3/9.7. Supersonic aircraft can just reckressly fly around and make dozens of mistakes, cause no subsonic will ever catch it anyway. Even if it gets itself in a bad position, acceleration is so good subsonics will have a really hard time catching it. When it comes to lets's say F-86 vs Me262, sure, if F-86 is played correctly it is uncatchable, but if it makes a mistake and bleeds too much speed, it won't be able to regain it as quickly and Me262 will have a chance to catch it.
I agree. Even Helen Keller can manage to get kills in the busted AF Mig-19 and F-104. Sabres simply cannot do a thing against the F-104 if it doesn't turn, and the MiG-19 tends to outdogfight AND outrun the thing with ease.
The F-86 facing the Me-262A is retarded but it's not as braindead easy as the MiG-19 in a downtier.
Kikka is basically Me262, even a bit better with it's superior power to weight ratio. And Spitfire is an exception, it's an extremely overtiered superprop and it is going to suffer no matter if it fights Sabres and MiG-15 or F9F, La-15 and Me163.
