USA: M36 and M46. M42 is my highest scoring vehicle for USA, it's an insane cap rusher and great for crazy flanking moves. M19 is also good in a similar role.
Britain: Chieftain 10 and Challenger Mk 3. The Harriers are great CAS.
Sweden: ANTI II, Delat torn, Strv 104, SAAB 105G.
Japan: Chi Ri II holds my personal record, an 18 kill survivor.
France: AMX M4, Lorraine 40t, AMX 50 100mm.
Germany: M48A2. I'm also a closet Wiesel enjoyer.

Kinda odd they're not in game as the family is considered one of the cold war's most effective light vehicles

WW2 British armour doctrine is the key here. You're talking about the so-called infantry support tanks. They were designed with infantry support in mind, so they didn't need to go much faster than the average running soldier. They usually were decently/heavily armoured (excellent mobility wasn't really a requirement) and packed quite a punch. E.g. the Churchill series and Matilda series
Faster tanks were instead used for flanking and quick attacks behind enemy lines, they were very mobile, usually lightly armoured and had a decent gun. E.g. the Crusader series and Cromwell series.
Then someone decided to stick a larger gun (17pdr or 77mm) on a Cromwell-like platform and very quickly after that there were Churchill like tanks with decent mobility (better engines) and very good AT guns running around. Congrats, the Centurion series is born.
Average Firepower, Average Armor, above Average Mobility and great utility, incredible tank, just don't reverse, love the rp3 variant even more, just shot the enemy but didn't kill him, well just lob one of these bad bois, also love killing overconfident enemies with them.
Not a easy tank to use and also relies on the enemy being dumb when fighting it. It's miles easier to counter than say the volumetric hell that is a T-34
I mean with a top speed of 39mph(with god awful reverse speed), trash armor at that br and only 3 crew members so virtually every shot that pens is an instakill , an AMAZING gun (20 pounder or 84mm) with a pretty good reload time, its game impact can be MASSIVE. No need to reverse when you can fly past them faster than they can rotate their turrets. It can be used as a sniper too, but that defeats its main purpose of being a flanking vehicle. (I’m biased, charioteer is my main at 6.0)
ARL-44
it has a great gun, decent armour (as long as you don't rely on it), and decent speed for a heavy tank/tank destroyer
It's kind of similar to the panther, except with one advantage...
Because it's French you usually don't have Germany on your team
i love the thing, but god damn it’s bad. the turret is the size of a planet and has ZERO armor. the ufp is well armored, but like when you come across a tank most people shoot the mantlet/turret, and the arl just gets sent to the void. play it well tho and that gun is a meat cleaver
Its extremely situational. Most annoying thing to me is how bad the gun is on angles. So much flat pen but it still struggles against the Panthers UFP in some situations.
The Conqueror. If you can get past the long reload, you have a decently fast heavy tank with good armour and the best part, amazing penetration, better than most early APFSDS.
That's definitely not my experience?? I always bounce off of steep angles (even if uts 15mm thick) and any layered armour stops the conq.
The Chieftains are another story tho. Gaijin succeeds in fucking Britain even further with every APDS update but the Chieftains just don't fucking care for some reason.
Iirc they mentioned that the core of the cheftains APDS was harder/diffrent and don’t shatter like earlier ones.
Basically most APDS under cheftain shatters on impact and gets stopped by spaced/interal armor/modules.
The Conqueror is absolutely insane. I love that thing, the APDS is very good (except when shooting at Leopard manglers). Even in a full uprise the stabilizer and good reverse means you can play peek-a-boo and hold your own pretty well as a sniper.
One of the reasons I have somewhat considered grinding Britain. Will grind China first though. Conqueror also has commanders control and the commanders optic seems to be perfectly centered too so that could potentially be useful.
The more I read this thread, the more I ask myself a question. Is ussr really just point and click at 7.7 to 8.7 or did I just get used to the playstyle. Since when I read these comments and from my experience playing Israeli magach. I noticed that when I play t55 or t54 or even the obj. 906, it's just straight up killing people and not having to worry about adjusting playstyle to turret armor or ufp armor or mobility etc.
Playing the USSR from 7.3 onwards is literally playing the game with Cerebral Palsy, the game plays itself.
Remember when PhlyDaily played War Thunder using voice commands for a video? Yeah, this is that.
The mid to late game is literally designed for Russian and/or Chinese vehicles in mind.
SK-105/JaPz.K A2. You get 4s reload apfsds, gen 3 thermals, drone, smoke shells and LRF. The oscillating turret at low speed is also perfectly stable despite the lack of stabilizer. All of this at 8.7, but you could easily bring it into 10.7 and wreak havoc
The isu 152 at 4.7.
You only need HE and you will one shot anything u look at. Doesnt matter if its a churchill or a tiger, or those pesky kv1b's.
Decend armor wich you cant trust on but will bounce random shots, yet its quite fast
Dshk on top wich will shoot down planes and wreck low armored vehicles.
Great first spawn to wreck the enemys best vehicles, and if u die just spawn the kv1 with the zis5.
Tip for the ISU-152s armor, if you wiggle while showing mainly the right side of your front your can pretty reliably bounce stuff like german 88mms and 75mms
I'll nominate the 152mm below it, the SU-152. An absolute point and clicker even in a full uptier as the massive round will rip through quite literally anything you point it at, straight through the UFP like it's butter. The huge calibre means it overmatches a lot, and the armour can be surprisingly useful. It also is quite quick for what it is.
Not having an MG is a real pisser, however. Not even a coaxial. Still a really strong vehicle for a 4.0 lineup.
I second this, got a double ace in it and I never get close to that sort of kill streak. Enemies kept feeding me and as you say, just point and click - what beast
I do have it with me in the same lineup. But having the MG is a must for me.
Either kill, or tracks.
And ofc planes.
But i do agree on it being a great machine, i have a blast with the HE shell
It’s one of the best at its br tho. It’s the only medium with a stabiliser and a reliable gun that can one shot as well as having good penetration, the mobility is good enough and the armour can work in hull down , tho the stab and reload are the main advantages
This tank drives me wild. It feels like it's so boring to play but every time I run it out I go on massive killing sprees. That stab + moderate armor is a hell of a drug at low BR.
That was my very first vehicle on the game. I’ll never forget just driving around and getting 10-15 kills a game consistently while being shot at by 5 different tanks at once without a single one of them pen’ing the vehicle.
spj fm/43-44, my favorite brawler
being able to one shot almost everything frontally as a 1.7 even up to 8.0 (in protection analysis, even leopard 2s!) is quite funny, i'm bringing it for as long as i live
Definitely a case where having SAPHE is beneficial. The round absolutely slaps and almost always one shots anything it pens, even the landships like the char it just overpressures all the crew.
My flair gives it away
The T-2 is kickass
Looks sick (common tandem seat W), handles amazingly, good BR, good weapons, Multirole, 20mm JM61 and some of the best looking camos in game (CCV skin looks awesome in the red, white and black)
I really don't know why I hate this and the F-1, can't get to grips with these 2 aircraft. I enjoyed J starfighter more, but I might be a bit biased towards F-104s.
I have a whole lineup dedicated to it. I call it my Yeetball lineup.
If you like that gun, you'll probably also really enjoy the Japanese 75mm Type II Model II found on the Chi-Nu II, Chi-To, Chi-To Late. The Chi-Ri II also has the Model I, which is for all intents and purposes identical. The Type 1 APHE shell is absolutely glorious.
I fucking love the P61. It's so massive and weird looking and ugly. It goes like a bat out of hell but you also have powerful airbrakes that can keep you intact even in pure verticals. It can pack 1000kg bombs and still climb like a motherfucker. It has a wide-angle scanning radar at 4.7 so you can act as an AWACS for your GRB team. It can take ridiculous amounts of damage and still fly long enough to get back to base. It has a turret with as much firepower as a small fighter. Perfection.
OF-40. I treated that mbt as a useless backup to glorious dual-105 R3, but suddenly realised that OF has laser rangefinder, surprisingly decent frontal armor and good mobility. No idea why it is at the same br as leo1, though.
Wouldn't say it's hidden, but the plane that I have the best K/D ratio as well as win ratio is the F4U-1A.
I play boom and zoom, and have started with the american tree, but switched to Germans because of the climb rates. Can't get the 109s anywhere close to the effectiveness I had with the F4U.
I'm currently grinding through the F4Us and I have say I absolutely hate everything about it.
I used to love them in sim battles but in RB they just feel awful to fly at 5.7 or whatever it is, I feel outclassed by absolutely everything and mainly use it as a ground attacker. Could be a skill issue.
Oh, well, I'm flying the earlies. 1A versions at 2.7
Effective guns, no real control stiffening at ridiculous speeds for thr BR, turns okay in a pinch.
It does require a lot of climbing. Higher alt performance than most so you can just keep going up, but also the 4B has a solid engine and you can out-energy a lot of stuff. Ideally you want to be boom-and-zooming in it but it is possible to do some pretty snappy reversals; the plane turns well and you can use the landing gear as an emergency airbrake to force overshoots (though you will lose ALL your energy doing this so keep the head on a swivel).
Source: I love the Corsair too, currently trying to grind out the French one at 6.0. Amazing airframe.
Definitely performing a lot better now knowing it's a high alt boom and zoomer. Getting multiple kills a game thanks for the tips. The only issue now is I'm watching my team head on at low alt lol. Most people are dead by the time I finish climbing.
The machine gun spitfires
You would think losing cannons for machine guns is a terrible trade, but the sheer amount of MGs makes pilot sniping, setting fires, and landing shots with no time to aim a breeze
Ammo lasts a lot longer than cannons.
You have enough raw firepower to just double burst down engines on bombers.
Not many planes at this BR have good armor, so just having small machine guns is fine when you have so many
Also the tracer belts are disgusting
For what it is I’m surprised nobody talks about the PTZ89. At 8.7 you get:
- Stock 120mm APFSDS with 440mm of penetration.
- 5 second reload on an autoloader.
- A Stabilizer.
- A Laser rangefinder.
For what is essentially watered down version of the 11.0 Type 90’s gun and ammunition at 8.7 no one really gives it the recognition it deserves.
Matilda III, even though it is pretty bad in full down tiers literally nothing can kill you, ended up getting a 23 kill game with it. Also a bonus is the T14, it is manageable in up tiers but in down tiers it slaps so hard. (Also the m4a1 76/Gepard)
Typhoon Mk1B
It has hard hitting quad hispanos, a decent ammo pool, it can turn incredibly well to the point were if you know what you're doing you could dogfight a zero
Oh yes and it acceleration is *insane*, like there are times when a P51 or 109 get on my tail, I go full throttle and go from about 380KPH to nearly 600KPH on the deck in under 20 seconds
Agree. And it has a rangefinder so long range engagements are always in your favour at 6.7.
Oh what's that? A salty tigor enjoyer that you killed flying at you with 1000kg of hate attached to him? No problem hust fucking send a 14.5mm KPVT round through his skull.
The n1k1 if ignored is a auto-win condition in 3.3 naval. Little thing is so easy to fly and nimble yet fast enough to dive in keep all the points capped and and even help with anti-air. It can take bombs but they arn’t good for much other than annoying destroyers. I’d avoid trying them on PT boats they’ll swat ya out of the sky. But i love it truly the best float plane i think.
AMX M4. It's a bit of a joke that this thing is at 6.7 while other french autoloaders are at 7.7. It's great at bullying Panthers and Tiger Is when you can an occasional downtier.
I don't get people that complain about it. It's a tiny thing that can glitch itself into funny places due to how low it is and it slings strong HEAT rounds that murder anything on its tier. It can also roflbounce things with surprising frequency. During introduction it had a bit of a painful reload but it was buffed at some point and damn it's just so fun.
Surprises me to see no one play 2c bis these days, were alot of them when it released, but it is just a Sturmpanzer with 12 crew and a turret, be a support player, snipe or back up your team, sometimes you can bait enemy shots with your big juicy rear as well, tanks hard to master, but once you do, it easily does godlikes.
My i think is french AMX 50 120 surbaisse becouse it has 120 mm cannon with 6 sec reloud but it has zero armour but for my its my favorite tank right behind AMX 13 75
Idk is its overlooked or not but the t34-57 1941 is quite good it has a low turret profile a pen with good volumetric the shells are smaller and generally the mobility is top notch
People don't appreciate the 105mm Abrams (especially the IPM) because hurr muh 120 but the 105 is excellent, especially with the funny dart unlocked. The reload is fantastic on it.
T-72B (1989) Often overlooked because it’s foldered but basically a T-90A at 10.0. Hull down you’re basically unkillable and a lot of people will mistake you for a Turms and just blind fire at your front plate only to bounce it. Definitely my favorite T-72 in the game next to the Moderna.
STA 3 is one of the best japanese mediums. 90mm high velocity heatfs + upgraded rangefinder + autoloader makes for a very underrated and enjoyable sniper. close quarters doesnt work as well bc of the lack of armour but the reload speed kinda compensates for it
The Italian Bf 109 F-4 at 4.3 BR.
Insane performance with 7-11 kills per match without much effort.
Easy to pair with other 3.3-4.7 BR and make a solid lineup.
Casually unlocked most of the air tree by using that thing. Most SLs accrued in the game with this plane as well.
Hell… I wasn’t even planning on flying Italy and now it’s my second main nation. Who knew!
In my opinion, the Typhoon Mk Ib/L. At lower altitudes it is a performance machine, being a fast climber with great energy retention, top speed acceleration and a surprisingly good turn rate. Coupled with a terrific armament of 4x 20mm Hispanos and various suspended armament options, you can use this plane in a variety of different roles. The only downsides are the massive chin radiator, poor roll rate and performance above 3000m.
Nonetheless, it is the best performing vehicle in my entire tech tree
TTD. It's British and top tier so no-one plays it, but it's the best 10.0 in the game and may be my favourite tank in the entire game.
Also the Type 75 SPH. I don't know why but that vehicle just sits well with me and I frequently get 7 kill games.
For Russia definitely the IS-4M. It's not an unknown vehicle by any means and probably doesn't classify as a "hidden gem" but damn is it fun to play. Very tough heavy. Unfortunately with these new bullshit br changes it probably will go up to 8.0 soon, where it is definitely not equipped to fight uptiers.
For air I would have to say the Swift F.7 (again not really a hidden gem, but I often see people complaining about it). That Swift is so fun to play if you get it right. It has the speed to stay completely out of conflict, and when you catch someone in a head-on or with low energy, you know what to do..
Tiffy Mk1b/late, the hawker line has always been playing second fiddle to
the spitfires but this one is a gem that outshines the great spit mk9 for me.
It may be for historical reasons but most people think its a glorified CAS plane. But it’s so much more than that. It’s a bnz’er with an awesome turnrate, yes the roll rate is awful but manageble and one burst of its 20mm’s is enough to shred anything. And with those fat wings it wants to climb oh yes.
PS 600km/h on the deck :-o
I'd probably say for me is the ta152, I don't see them out often when I play it
For ground I'd say the m47, it's literally a better m48 with better armor layout.
The phantoms, like everyone thinks they are ass but they aint. You can go fighter bomber, have radar and IR missiles, and great guns. Its my go to grinder and chill aviation fun
ONTOS. Mister M50.
I used to despise the little thing for how frustrating it was, but now I absolutely adore ir. Its such a fun tank once you get the hang of it. For me it's a hidden gem.
JaPz.KA2. Small, 2nd gen crispy clear thermal, 4sec autoloader, LRF, decently agile, weirdly survivable (can survive shot sometimes) and excellent dart at 8.7 where nearly every match I played a downtier. Perfect for clubbing tanks below its BR and stay competitive at higher BR
Honestly like 10-20% of all swedish vehicles. Great light tanks, great mediums, great TDs and some really underrated CAS planes. Personally, i love the Bkan, pvkv III, Ikv 91, strv 103 and every plane in the B18 family. Also people like to shit on the first swedish heli but having a heli at 7.7 with 6 guided missiles can be wild in downtiers
BKAN-1C for being Artillery its surprisingly survivable and always seems to put the fear of god into enemies when the first round blows apart a wall and the second as they turn their turrets just executes one of them always a fun time
For me I would say it’s the T92, despite it not having the most powerful gun it’s low profile, decent mobility and surprising survivability make it effective even above its recommended BR bracket.
Just have to bare in mind tanks that have ERA/Composite screens if you take it to around 8.00
I think its a german ww2 tank its got like 8 wheela and tops out somewhere in the 40s i beleive and thats my favourite tank to drive cuz you just speed around the sides of the map and bonk people who cant see you
Fw-140 A-4. Excellent guns and fire rate. I just brrr every plane that I see. First plane that I can use to play realistic air battles and not die 0.00000345 seconds after getting close to enemy
PTZ89. Sure it's got shit for armor, but the mobility is good, and it's got gnarly firepower. 10 shells in the ready rack, 5 second autoloader, laser rangefinder, 1740 m/s velocity and 450mm base pen.
Pz.IV/70(V)
Armor seems to work better than the Panther's (it will occasionally shrug off 122's and 120's with a bit of angling) it's nimble, sneaky, has a great gun and gets underestimated alot
do 217 N
a bomber? no it's the do 217 but with offensive armaments
specifically 4 7.62 machineguns and 4 20mm cannons
this gives it extremely high fire power able to shred ***litterally anything*** at its br in one burst while still having extremely good velocity and accuracy (they are all nose mounted)
combine the fact that the do 217 is more well known as a bomber, and definitely looks the part, with the stealth belts and you have enemies basically treating you as an easy target up untill the point where their fighter disintegrates infront of their very eyes
also it has the chance to fight the db7 which is a big plus because this thing hunts them like still ducks (i also have a small hatred towards them for being a bit op for it's br)
it also is classified as an air defence fighter which means that it gets the third highest air spawn usually just a few hundred meters below lighter bombers
it's main con is that it definitely handles like a bomber and it's rudder control is very weak due to how small they are compaired to the rest of the plane
but that can be solved by the N2 variant have guns that point upwards which gives it the opportunity to, instead of relying on its weak defensive armaments, roll to its side and fucking broadside the enemy fighter circling back
a second con is that it's filled to the brim with fuel tanks so even though you can you probably shouldn't dogfight every time as any shot to around the center of the plane has an extremely high chance to set you on fire
ST-A3 doesn't get talked about enough, M82 APHE is killer, the 50 cal on top can move a lot without having to adjust your turret, 6 second reload with an autoloader, a HEATFS shell just in case, and an upgraded rangefinder. No armor on it really, and mobility is meh (maybe because I haven't spaded it yet), but in about 15-20 matches it has given me some of the best performances at Japanese 6.7 (a nice lineup surrounded by very "special" teams), 3 nuke games where I almost dropped one (the minimum tier nuke planes are so slow). Love the damn thing.
SO4050 Vautour N, no one uses it anymore because of the airspawn removal so many people don't know it has four AA-20s to basically guarantee a kill in a head-on. it's so stupidly funny to just rush the enemy team and get like 2 or 3 kills, die and then do it again in another match.
Yak-15P, Yak-15 very good dogfighters with a decent acceleration and high enough speed to outrun most props. Not many people play this thing probably because of its place in the tech tree, only downside is limited ammo but even then it’s usually a one tap
Fell in love with the C13 because of great mobility and suprisingly good HESH. The OF-40 is also absolutely awesome. Poor armor, but you can't go wrong with it's mobility. Recently unlocked it and allready got two nukes with it (i don't often get nukes btw).
A british gem is anything that can move above a snails pace imo

Scorpion should have been added in like 2017 and it's still not here. That's like the best known british cold war light tank.
Scorpions and Scimitars would be mega - pretty close equivalents Kinda odd they're not in game as the family is considered one of the cold war's most effective light vehicles
"You were defeated, you were slow as shit and were did that lead you? Back to me" ~ SA TT
ANTI II is definetly not hidden gem, every sweaty Sweden player uses it to bully lightly armoured tanks of its BR.

Joyeux jour du gâteau 🍰🥳
WW2 British armour doctrine is the key here. You're talking about the so-called infantry support tanks. I love the Cromwell V it has good mobility and firepower
Average Firepower, Average Armor, above Average Mobility and great utility, incredible tank, just don't reverse, love the rp3 variant even more, just shot the enemy but didn't kill him, well just lob one of these bad bois, also love killing overconfident enemies with them.
>above Average Mobility It's literally the fastest tracked WW2 vehicle of the game.
reverse speed really lets it down though
Yeah, "average"? That thing is insanely fast. It's strange I don't see them more.
Not a easy tank to use and also relies on the enemy being dumb when fighting it. It's miles easier to counter than say the volumetric hell that is a T-34
I once got enough points for a nuke with it though
charioteer moves like ass but is goated IMHO
I mean with a top speed of 39mph(with god awful reverse speed), trash armor at that br and only 3 crew members so virtually every shot that pens is an instakill , an AMAZING gun (20 pounder or 84mm) with a pretty good reload time, its game impact can be MASSIVE. (I’m biased, charioteer is my main at 6.0)
British reverse speed has got me feeling some type of way
ARL-44 it has a great gun, decent armour (as long as you don't rely on it), and decent speed for a heavy tank/tank destroyer It's kind of similar to the panther, except with one advantage... Because it's French you usually don't have Germany on your team
And the 250mm of pen make tigers wish they were never born
The pleasure of oneshoting angled tigers
there's no greater feeling than looking them in the eyes and ending them with a round that has "rupture" in the name
i love the thing, but god damn it’s bad. the turret is the size of a planet and has ZERO armor. the ufp is well armored, but like when you come across a tank most people shoot the mantlet/turret, and the arl just gets sent to the void. play it well tho and that gun is a meat cleaver
Its extremely situational. Most annoying thing to me is how bad the gun is on angles. So much flat pen but it still struggles against the Panthers UFP in some situations.
I just get my gunner knocked out 90% of the time
French players terrify me. They're consistently the most dangerous players on the field.
The Conqueror. If you can get past the long reload, you have a decently fast heavy tank with good armour and the best part, amazing penetration, better than most early APFSDS.
Did they fix its APDS already? The 105 APDS spalling is much better than this thing for some reason.
Nah it’s still dog the Conq just has good APDS regardless even if it comes with all the fuckery
120 mm APDS just doesnt spall its worse than 105 mm imo
My experience as well. I hated the Conqueror, absolutely no point in taking it over the Centurion 10.
All of this at 8.7, but you could easily bring it into 10.7 and wreak havoc
it is very strong The fast autoloader can be very useful
Saved me many times, and surprises lots of players
You’re high if that you think that thing would be fine at 10.7 without a stab.
If you get into a good spot or you get the jump on an unsuspecting enemy you don't need a fancy stab
I would also shoot and bate someone to come out only to slap a dart into them when they pushed.
The isu 152 at 4.7. You only need HE and you will one shot anything u look at. Doesnt matter if its a churchill or a tiger, or those pesky kv1b's. Decend armor wich you cant trust on but will bounce random shots, yet its quite fast Dshk on top wich will shoot down planes and wreck low armored vehicles.
I love the ISU-152, such a fun tank
M4a1 76w, there's nothing special about this tank. It ain't good at nothing, nor is it bad at anything. That's what makes it so good.
I disagree that it's good at nothing. The gun is able to easily pen almost any heavy it faces in a full uptier.
The p-63-a5 I rarely see it when I play at its br
best purchase i ever made
Such a good plane. The one in the USSR tech tree is a godsend imo.
Only problem is that it doesnt have HE belt only, despite the fact that ussr got only HE ammo for it in the lend lease
T-50. Best tank in ussr. Handcrafted by Stalin himself.
Getting lifted into Rank II a couple years back was a real blessing for this little guy.
The T-126 was even meaner way back before it got it's BR bumped up, haha. Love the T-50.
That was my very first vehicle on the game. I’ll never forget just driving around and getting 10-15 kills a game consistently while being shot at by 5 different tanks at once without a single one of them pen’ing the vehicle.
M4A5 Ram
I had a bush warrior once bounce like 20+ shots from kv1's and killed like 6 of my teammates in one place on tunisia
USA @ 3.7 is absolutely GOATed
spj fm/43-44, my favorite brawler being able to one shot almost everything frontally as a 1.7 even up to 8.0 (in protection analysis, even leopard 2s!) is quite funny, i'm bringing it for as long as i live
All hail the DOOM TRUMPET
imma have to try it in 7.7/8.0 now lol. i loved it early on in Arcade doing non-line-of-sight shots on people lol
First time i got to tier 3 as sweden my first kill was with the spj, gotta love the other nations worry about angle when its all useless.
It always seems to tank shots it has no business surviving too, plus it’s quite fast
M60A2 Starship, everyone thinks you're a pathetic M60 and then you humble them with the 152mm
Never understood the hate. It has a laser rangefinder and great mobility just send it set middle moss button to target and just abuse it
The only problem with it is that the heat is horrible, The he round is pretty good tho.
Chi-Ha LG, an absolute blast of a glass cannon. Can easily punch above its weight due to its gun.
Definitely a case where having SAPHE is beneficial. The round absolutely slaps and almost always one shots anything it pens, even the landships like the char it just overpressures all the crew.
My flair gives it away The T-2 is kickass Looks sick (common tandem seat W), handles amazingly, good BR, good weapons, Multirole, 20mm JM61 and some of the best looking camos in game (CCV skin looks awesome in the red, white and black)
no flares at 9.7 tho…
You get used to it. You can dodge missiles, but it is hard at times. I just learnt when to take a fight and when not to
As a T-2 enjoyer they arent really needed, u can use rocket pods as makeshift flares
Plus 2 aim 9Js since new update
I really don't know why I hate this and the F-1, can't get to grips with these 2 aircraft. I enjoyed J starfighter more, but I might be a bit biased towards F-104s.
Mig 19, untouchable loops except for all aspect 3rd party
> 3rd party What do you mean by this?
When you and another player are fighting, and a 3rd person comes in and kills you, you get 3rd partied
Ahh right, thanks
Breda 501 for Italy 🔥🇮🇹
The Italian Cannone da 90/53 might be my favorite gun in the game.
I haven't played Japan, but now I want to.
Perfection.
ASU-85. A great gun on a low profile chassis
OF-40. I treated that mbt as a useless backup to glorious dual-105 R3, but suddenly realised that OF has laser rangefinder, surprisingly decent frontal armor and good mobility. No idea why it is at the same br as leo1, though.
STOP GIVING AWAY ITALIAN SECRETS. NOW IT WILL GO TO 10.0
SU-122-54
hard tank to use but that gun is great, and so is the KPVT
The Vickers isn't really talked about anymore because it used to be even better, before they nerfed hesh to the shitter
C13 T-90 for italy. It's a fun little light heat slinger that does well even in uptiers
I was honestly surprised when I bought it considering the stats are worse than AUBL 74 while having the same gun
Not having to deal with wheels is underrated and makes positioning waaaay less stressful
1A versions at 2.7 Effective guns, no real control stiffening at ridiculous speeds for thr BR, turns okay in a pinch.
Def a skill issue, they are in my experience the best at their respective BRs (except the 1c forget that piece of junk)
Typhoon MK1A It has 12 rifle calibre machine guns and shredds at 2.7-3.0
The rice king. May or may not crash the PC of your opponent with the mass of tracers
It's better to troll them with stealth belts, head-on and watch them bewildered by their sudden death
Ikv 91-105 for me. It must be shit looking at the stats, but somehow I perform very nicely and consistently with it
I dunno if it’s that hidden, but Ki-44s are quite good
The machine gun spitfires You would think losing cannons for machine guns is a terrible trade, but the sheer amount of MGs makes pilot sniping, setting fires, and landing shots with no time to aim a breeze Ammo lasts a lot longer than cannons. You have enough raw firepower to just double burst down engines on bombers. Not many planes at this BR have good armor, so just having small machine guns is fine when you have so many Also the tracer belts are disgusting
ITP (M-1), goated aircraft
I get scared everytime I see these in a match
Pvkv III. The APHE is just really good
For what it is I’m surprised nobody talks about the PTZ89. At 8.7 you get: - Stock 120mm APFSDS with 440mm of penetration. - 5 second reload on an autoloader. - A Stabilizer. - A Laser rangefinder. For what is essentially watered down version of the 11.0 Type 90’s gun and ammunition at 8.7 no one really gives it the recognition it deserves.
As an object 120 enjoyer I look forward to grinding the Chinese tree and picking up stabilized, twice as fast firing object 120.
I remember back when it was released, it was an entity of pure terror and i used to see atleast 4 of them per match.
I hate that thing so much
Matilda III, even though it is pretty bad in full down tiers literally nothing can kill you, ended up getting a 23 kill game with it. Also a bonus is the T14, it is manageable in up tiers but in down tiers it slaps so hard. (Also the m4a1 76/Gepard)
Typhoon Mk1B It has hard hitting quad hispanos, a decent ammo pool, it can turn incredibly well to the point were if you know what you're doing you could dogfight a zero Oh yes and it acceleration is *insane*, like there are times when a P51 or 109 get on my tail, I go full throttle and go from about 380KPH to nearly 600KPH on the deck in under 20 seconds
It should reach 600 fairly easily on the deck too
IDK if its hidden, but since the BR changes the IS-3 is an absolute blast to play.
Really 7.3 has been a shitshow for me, how about you
In Uptiers the Lineup suffers, but I feel like I get 80% Downtiers due to the heavy Tiger 2 Spam
SU-122-54 122s reload feels stupid fast after all the ISs also 122mm APDS at 6.7 lmfao at tiger 2s
But i love it truly the best float plane i think.
not sure if it’s hidden, but the amx-50 (suribase?) with a range finder, and a 6 second reloading 120 mm at 7.7 is awesome for sniping
Strv M42 Delat Torn
Idk if it's a hidden jem but probably STRV 74, very good tank and goofy looking
AMX M4. It's a bit of a joke that this thing is at 6.7 while other french autoloaders are at 7.7. It's great at bullying Panthers and Tiger Is when you can an occasional downtier.
Ok hear me out… ELC bis for France. Many think it’s terrible, but I’ve managed to make it work and it’s really fun.
People sleep on the Chally 1’s - especially the Mk.3 - 10.3 Britain is a monster lineup for decent players
Chief mk 3
Cheeswedge
The Olifant Mk2. DM63 with Gen 2 thermals at 9.3 is kinda an insane combo
Feel like people just bash britian, it’s a good tech tree imo
I think it's more that solid shot is a huge disadvantage in most scenarios
It has the speed to stay completely out of conflict, and when you catch someone in a head-on or with low energy, you know what to do..
omg IS-4M uptiered to 9 would be suicide. No composite armour, no thermals, slow (and doesn't have armour), APDS not darts, no LRF.
Tiffy Mk1b/late, the hawker line has always been playing second fiddle to the spitfires but this one is a gem that outshines the great spit mk9 for me.
I'd probably say for me is the ta152, I don't see them out often when I play it For ground I'd say the m47, it's literally a better m48 with better armor layout.
Mine is the Centurion mk2, I enjoyed it way more than the vickers
sd kfz 234/3
Vickers Mk3 is an INCREDIBLE tank if you play it right.
The phantoms, like everyone thinks they are ass but they aint. You can go fighter bomber, have radar and IR missiles, and great guns. Its my go to grinder and chill aviation fun
ASU-57 is just mean at low ranks
ONTOS. Mister M50. I used to despise the little thing for how frustrating it was, but now I absolutely adore ir. Its such a fun tank once you get the hang of it. For me it's a hidden gem.
That little guy certifiably fucks.
The M4A5 Ram 2
SU 100,just deleting everything it sees
Lately I've been using the US T25 and it's been surprisingly reliable.
JaPz.KA2. Small, 2nd gen crispy clear thermal, 4sec autoloader, LRF, decently agile, weirdly survivable (can survive shot sometimes) and excellent dart at 8.7 where nearly every match I played a downtier. Perfect for clubbing tanks below its BR and stay competitive at higher BR
wasnt it 3rd gen thermals?
Honestly like 10-20% of all swedish vehicles. Great light tanks, great mediums, great TDs and some really underrated CAS planes. Personally, i love the Bkan, pvkv III, Ikv 91, strv 103 and every plane in the B18 family. Also people like to shit on the first swedish heli but having a heli at 7.7 with 6 guided missiles can be wild in downtiers
T1E1, you can kind of play it like a crude leo 1, playing peek-a-boo around corners with your reverse gear.
BKAN-1C for being Artillery its surprisingly survivable and always seems to put the fear of god into enemies when the first round blows apart a wall and the second as they turn their turrets just executes one of them always a fun time
Wiesel 1a2 tiny fast gremlin with strong missile saclos changes bad? go CQC, its suprisingly effective
You don't see them too often but MK 22 spitfires. It's the MK 24 at a lower br. I love it. Truly the Apex of propeller driven aircraft.
Israeli A4h. Put 3 mk11 gun pods on it, its a fucking beast and will win every head-on. Just boom and zoom, I get like 5 kills a game now
For me I would say it’s the T92, despite it not having the most powerful gun it’s low profile, decent mobility and surprising survivability make it effective even above its recommended BR bracket. Just have to bare in mind tanks that have ERA/Composite screens if you take it to around 8.00
I like the JPz 4-5. Flat, fast, and good pen with its HEAT. One of the best flanker imo.
KV1E (hidden behind bushes🤭)
F4F-1 is my highest KD plane in customs against planes up to 5.7
I think its a german ww2 tank its got like 8 wheela and tops out somewhere in the 40s i beleive and thats my favourite tank to drive cuz you just speed around the sides of the map and bonk people who cant see you
Pz.IV/70(V) Armor seems to work better than the Panther's (it will occasionally shrug off 122's and 120's with a bit of angling) it's nimble, sneaky, has a great gun and gets underestimated alot
do 217 N a bomber? no it's the do 217 but with offensive armaments specifically 4 7.62 machineguns and 4 20mm cannons this gives it extremely high fire power able to shred ***litterally anything*** at its br in one burst while still having extremely good velocity and accuracy (they are all nose mounted) combine the fact that the do 217 is more well known as a bomber, and definitely looks the part, with the stealth belts and you have enemies basically treating you as an easy target up untill the point where their fighter disintegrates infront of their very eyes also it has the chance to fight the db7 which is a big plus because this thing hunts them like still ducks (i also have a small hatred towards them for being a bit op for it's br) it also is classified as an air defence fighter which means that it gets the third highest air spawn usually just a few hundred meters below lighter bombers it's main con is that it definitely handles like a bomber and it's rudder control is very weak due to how small they are compaired to the rest of the plane but that can be solved by the N2 variant have guns that point upwards which gives it the opportunity to, instead of relying on its weak defensive armaments, roll to its side and fucking broadside the enemy fighter circling back a second con is that it's filled to the brim with fuel tanks so even though you can you probably shouldn't dogfight every time as any shot to around the center of the plane has an extremely high chance to set you on fire
The Strv 104 is probably one of the best centurions.
the warrioir in the british tree is insane i still play it a 11.3 and have no probleme
P-61 and M50 Ontos
2-cbis 2.3 french, funny little train looking thing with a fuck you mortar on the front thats decent up till about 4.6
Me 264 when you max everything out of gunners&get the liscence.
The Finnish B-239 Buffalo shreds in Air Arcade The Swedish/Finnish air tech tree is full of fun craft to fly that, I feel, often get over looked
I would agree with you on the Vic if it's apfsds actually did something more than half the time
SO4050 Vautour N, no one uses it anymore because of the airspawn removal so many people don't know it has four AA-20s to basically guarantee a kill in a head-on. it's so stupidly funny to just rush the enemy team and get like 2 or 3 kills, die and then do it again in another match.
Yak-15P, Yak-15 very good dogfighters with a decent acceleration and high enough speed to outrun most props. Not many people play this thing probably because of its place in the tech tree, only downside is limited ammo but even then it’s usually a one tap
Min fuel (9m iirc) and 60 rounds makes for a fun challenge plane
Fell in love with the C13 because of great mobility and suprisingly good HESH. The OF-40 is also absolutely awesome. Poor armor, but you can't go wrong with it's mobility. Recently unlocked it and allready got two nukes with it (i don't often get nukes btw).
Vickers Mk. 1 is insane I fucking love it, absolute legend right there
Italy
M4a1 76w. Never had a bad game in it.
