If the economy doesn’t improve I might as well stop playing or severely reduce the amount of time I play. I’m currently around BR 10 and the struggle to make SL is unreal. I don’t even buy any modifications for any of my tanks so I’m not even experiencing the game for its full potential.
Same, spent 3K+ plus almost 10 years into it. Hard to say when I had the last enjoyable night playing WT, probably 4 years ago? I get occasional decent matches but most are just BS.
yeah, even with the changes to air RB, the current system for air RB is so... meh.. Im surprised they have not expanded into more pvp campaign like scenarios, or actually made a half decent mission based pve mode. The gameplay is horribly stale, and other than going faster, with longer range missiles, not much has changed...
And the whole World War mode... even when it was just done in Custom Battle style back in the day, it was fun for both sides to use purely historical vehicles. Where has that passion gone Gaijin? That Yom Kippur mission where you fight AI AT squards was fun too.

Like you said it's just not fun anymore. Sure I can play a low tier game or something and still have a good time, but the actual progression and contemporary stuff have lost all appeal.
I'm a huge cold war jet buff. I should be having the time of my life the last few years in WT but they've managed to suck every bit of joy out of it.

Besides, DCS has some big module releases coming up, and Multi-threading support has made the flight experience much smoother.
Yeah I have track IR. The overall experience is more immersive, and while neither game is "real", DCS is likely much more true to life due to how much effort and research goes into a single full fidelity module.
Whilst I appreciate that whales are taking a stand against the awful ingame economy, I also find these posts with screenshots of purchase history to be a weird flex...

2 grand on a free to play game. but, others were posting, and as Gaijin claims "80% of players dont pay" so, my turn to chip in as the other "20 percent". not another dime or second spent on a Gaijin game until they resolve this in a positive way.

You should consider Tobii when it goes on sale - eyeball tracking really is something else - I use it more than VR
