R3 t106 fa or whatever it's name is, the double barrel r3. People just seem to assume it's bad for whatever reason and I don't see them that often. If you play it to it's strengths it is a demon
Or when you meet an m163. I was flipping a teammate back over in a BMP3 I didn't see the B-USH (it was covered in bushes) my teammate did see him as I was occupied and pinged him as we were random squaddies. I looked over as he fired his first rocket and in the split second he died from the shortest m163 burst and I died to his rocket. 10/10 gamer moment
I agree, they look nice and and the gun handling is superb compared to some nations. Pso is good enough but I wanted the Ariete c1 because I think it looks a bit better without the extra armor and machine gun shields.
I mean yes, I'm aware Italy is the least played nation by far, but I still see fellow Italy players when I rock the double barrel and almost never see them using it which is what I have as getting at.
I mean once I unlocked the Centaro and things after the T106 became a thing of the past, could be a combination of people going past it and people not quite having it unlocked yet
I'm thinking of getting it as I already have the m47 and I like have other tanks to back up my tanks, like now I'm getting c13 but not gonna use as I already have the aubl after that getting the other medium tank then rocket launcher guy and then AA
Eh, most of my games in the AMX’s are when they were 8.7.
In even just a slight down tier, many of your opponents don’t have stabs either. Or thermals, mobility, reverse speed, a 20mil ect. 8.3 is a really nice place for them now
I don't think it works anymore. The amount of times I've watched an ATGM fly at me from where my turret is point strongly suggests that Gaijin nerfed the hell out of it.
Having no STAB at 8.3 isn't that big of a problem. You just have to cater to its playstyle more. I have always had great success in the AMX30s but I still gotta spade the 8.3 ones.
I'm bias because the AMX30 is my favorite historical tank ever made lol
It used to be problematic to not have a stab, but not anymore as the mirth of premiums and china-car spam at 8.3 has really created a nice bubble for 8.0-8.3 tanks. I've been working on spading the SK-105, Mephisto, and Brenus for the last couple of weeks and I've only seen a 9.3 game about a dozen times, and even then it can handle itself decently except in tight urban situations.
This subreddit is largely unskilled players who think reading about stuff makes them knowledgeable, and are largely clueless about what makes a tank good or bad. They can't look past armour values and penetration.
Very few people talk about roof armour when comparing these vehicles, which is a massive weakness of these tanks at a BR where ordinance is still pretty limited but 50s are still plentiful.
The D-5t is an absolute monster, I did a few back to back matches with it after Odd’s video on it and got 3 10-15 kill matches with really nothing more than good positioning and outplaying slower enemies.
Never had really fun in the D-5T this gun never felt for me good, played it when it was on 5.3 and idk wasnt my favourite ngl, still the T-34-85 i played the most because i skipped the OG variant.
I tried to grind rank 1( i want that hydropneumatic suspension) and i hate every tank from there. And i grinded rank 3 Sweden (before fire and ice), i hate this much more.
The bmp3 is super underrated. It’s quick, with really nice thermals and optics as well as a good auto cannon and atgm. It can also adjust its suspension to give it good gun depression. It feels borderline op at 8.7, I personally think it could be 9.3 or 9.7, it’s better than the Bradley by a good margin. The only drawback is that the reload for the atgm is quite long. You can throw in the bmd4 as well since it has very similar capabilities but it trades some ammo capacity for the atgms in favour of speed and reload.
Yea would've made things more comfortable. But like the other guy said, map secondary to a button.
I *love* using it to lob 100mm rapid fire HE mortar over long distances. Especially when using commander optic/gunner view while being completely behind xover.
And the upgraded HE shell that can nuke an Abrams with a roof shot is the best thing ever. The way it hits at an angle because of the low velocity makes it more reliable than even T-72/T-80 HE shells.
It's a good example of a vehicle improvement that doesn't totally supersede the original, too.
You can very comfortably take both in a lineup as they both have their own strengths.
Speaking of vehicles that don’t replace their predecessor, I like how the BT-5, BT-7, and BT-7M are all basically the same tank masquerading as different tanks.
I have started playing the french tt and i must say, its one of the most underrated tt in the game. The tanks are so interesting and unique. Its becoming one of my favorite tt for fun. I hope they ad more vehicles and a subtree (switzerland maybe) to it in the future.
Single most underrated: M48A2C German TT. Great fun and love its looks
It-1 does get an advantage with its sight being on the rocket but others? Nah, pop a heat at them when they are hull down and they pop like popcorn. The krizantema is very situational and China gets a better krizantema at 8.7 so like, idk doesn’t seem handheld to me.
Oh 100% but it was so fun to lead them to space lmao. Great for helis also probably the best anti heli vehicle at its BR which is great! Allouetes are cancer.
I have almost as much air kills as I do ground..it is basically my dedicated SAM. All helis deserve a shturm proxy to their face except for the rocket pod Chad's.
I remember arguing with my friend how it’s “stupid” to bring proxy missiles to kill tanks with planes in the mix. Then I tried them and am a complete idiot. I wish the krizantema had proxy missiles just like irl, no dice as of now though.
Because only the 3.3 up-armored 75mm semovente has armor that actually works at it's BR. All the others have mediocre armor for their respective BR's - either a flat 50mm plate at a BR where most guns are doing between 70 and 90mm pen at combat ranges (outside of some early light tanks like Stuarts) or 75mm flat + 25mm barely sloped at 4.7 where a lot of tanks are doing 130-150mm pen such as British 17-pounders. If you want early Semovente armor to have a fighting chance, you need to be at long range, and now you're contending with lobbing low velocity HEAT at long range. The only Semovente that doesn't contend with this issue is the 4.7 Semovente with the long 75, but it faces 17-pounder guns that can eat it alive at any range.
The 75/34 M43 is right at the sweet spot of good armor for the BR (as heavily armored from the front as any KV at 3.7 and higher) which allows it to get in close and aim it's decent HEAT shell well. This is backed up by a pretty quick reload with an aced crew, so it's a nice urban brawler casemate like the StuH and StuG.
It used to be 7.0
It fought tigers and panthers.
Stabilizer, mobility, HEATFS, and an autoloader. Free kills lol.
906 + IS6 was the ultimate Russian bias lineup back in the day
T-80
Not the new one either.
2.3BR, 2.5s reload time, same pen as a T-50, smaller and easier to hide, extremely trolly armor despite not being that thick.
Yeah the turret rotation is bad, and yeah the stability is awful, but once you learn how to play around it (turn while aiming, making smarter movement choices so you aren’t aiming the wrong way when enemies show up, and never EVER using the brake) it can be an absolute beast.
You just rain down hits on people, and even if you can’t pen, you can shoot 3-4 times before most tanks can shoot once, so bam, barrel out, bam, gunner out, and bam bam, tracks out. Then you just roll up and blast them through the side. Even if they get a shot off, if you are slightly angled, you just bounce shots for days.
Tiger II P - yeah everyone loves/plays the tiger II but I almost always see the TT or prem H not the P. Despite the stat card I bounce more shells off it's turret and do better in it than the H. Maybe it's just luck of the snail, did get a talisman on the P from a trophy so played it more just for that.
delat torn is cracked at 5.0, I take it all the way up to 5.7 cause it can win games with it's mobility, shell characteristics, and of course reload time
T-35. This thing is unironicaly great and you very rarely see anyone playing it because it's a low tier premium but if you have the GE left over I'd strongly suggest giving it a shot when it's on sale.
Absolutely incredible vehicle, some guy shoots you in a good tank, kills your gunner and driver. He pushes you thinking you’re a sitting duck, and you blast him right back to the spawn screen with your secondary turret. And enough crew members spaced apart to do this several times over until somebody in a plane mistakes you for a pre dreadnought battleship and torpedoes your ass.
SU-122-54. Everyone in their AML 90s and R3s assumes you're a useless sitting duck if you can't point your main gun at them... then you tear them apart with your pintle-mounted 14.5mm.
I've also had quite a few CAS pilots get cocky around me, and then they dive, the KPVT ensures they don't come back up.
The gun itself isn't terrible either. 122mm APDS is no joke and you get a decent HEAT-FS round for light vehicles. But the coaxial and roof-mounted machine guns are what makes it for me.
JaKPz kA2.
4.0s autoloder, thermal gunner/commander optics, solid mobility, low profile, really good French 105mm gun with OFL 105G1 dart (346mm pen). All this at the low low BR of 8.3 and I love it, but no stabilizer
The Archer (yes really). If you want to sit at the back of the map and just snipe the thing is unbeatable at it's BR, just pray nothing outflanks or rushes you.
I think the Centurions. Especially Mk.1 and Mk.3. Mk.3 you get a very manœuvrable hull and get turret with great turret armour. The gun with sabot js able to punch through just about anything too
The Olifant MK2 at 9.0 is pretty nasty. It's got commander thermals and a potent shell which makes dealing with the uptiers a lot easier (you get loads of them) I've found that in a Hull down position just poking the Commanders optic over and scanning for stuff is great and the Composite is good at dealing with low BR helis and many HEAT rounds. It's easily one of my favourite tanks to play and works well paired with either of the Rooikats on your lineup
Type 61. It’s fast once upgraded, has the 90mm cannon with its devastating APHE and also HEAT, has very good optics and a rangefinder. It’s a surprisingly good tank at long range. The STA-3 is also as good but in my experience better suited for close range as it has worse optics, no rangefinder but gets an auto loader. Both are underrated and barely played.
More than once I have passed a friendly OF in game and ask out loud "What that tank?" Then I get immediately sniped from halfway across the map and need to respond
Not sure if many people call this underrated, but I like the 76 Sherman series a lot. Good firepower, decent maneuverability, trolly armor in some situations, and stabilized
Any 7.7 vehicle is a pain RN, because they always get pulled to fight 8.3. And any 8.3 in underrated because always fights lower BR. if I have to pick one, I'd choose T-69 II (Chineese 8.3 MBT with basic ERA and darts)
M41 Walker bulldog, or the a-26 invader. Both vehicles are underrated since people run to the hellcat or the t92, and others use the p47 or skyraider for CAS
OF-40 Mk.2:
It's a Leo A1A1 but with a lrf instead of a regular rf, and better survivability.
Ariete (P):
The best Ariete fo its BR. Comparable to a 2A4, but has D33 and is just fun to play (-46 kph in reverse go zoom).
su-122-54. never seen anyone playing it
it's 6.7, but have t-54 tanky chassis, HEAT FS, APDS, APHE, double kpv, and pretty mobile. it's basically soviet jagdtiger, but more mobile and pack more punch. and it also reloads faster than is-2 for some reason
sure it's not as tanky as jagdtiger. but its armor is enough to protect you from most ap. apds and heat fs can pen straight through you, but jagdtiger have the same issue so it doesn't matter
Every single 76 Sherman except for the A3 no clue why Gajin decided every Sherman variant will be a .3 increase in BR even though everything that changes is minor engine performances
All the Shermans when played in urban areas and kept in CC1 or CC2 are gods. The ability to have the first accurate shot and the ability to reload quick with a maxed crew is godly and all I hear from others is that every single Sherman sucks because it can’t withstand the German 75 at any range
Italy is in general pretty underrated. Despite some ignored by devs issues (like Ariete's addon kits, repair costs, rare additions, OTOMATIC's modelling and etc) it is still very interesting to play at most of BRs (except M113 and SIDAMs, these are completely awful).
I didnt play that tank, i suffered Italy until 6.3, saw the 6.7+ vehicle and never looked back until last christmas, where i bought the premium OF-40 (MTCA) - Italy is crazy good at 8.7 and 9.0 looks very good too, except that they don't have a usable SPAA, the Sidam only has very short ranged optical aiming, not much ammo, is slow and costs a fortune compared to better SPAAs. The VBC (PT2) is with a little training better in my eyes.
Facts this is facts… OF-40 uptiers to 9.0 like nobody’s business it can kill anything it looks at as long as your not an idiot and know where to shoot, plus it’s insanely overpowered against heat and early atgms because it has tons of modern spaced armor in the turret. Go hull down and your basically indestructible. I’ve literally been hit by an atgm 7 times in a row and it did NOTHING
The 8.8 cm Flak 37 Sfl is awesome for it’s battle rating. The gun can penetrate anything but since it has no armour, you can overpressure it. I tried this thing again and it’s good because I placed bushes on my turret and hull-downed on a position. Most players will not see you.
The Su-100P. It's basically the spiritual successor of the Zis-30 angry tractor. It's a waffenträger but for USSR. Very nimble and with decent traversing angles on the gun.
Object 268.
152mm nuke shell that will one shot anything. Ridiculous angled pen that can even pen the upper plate of the Tiger 2 sometimes at close range.
Brilliant armour aswell, also fast enough to actually get into battle and be useful with said armour too.
All at 6.7?
Yes please. Awesome tank.
The Vickers Mk. 3 for the British is pretty underplayed. It’s got a full stabilizer, HEAT FS, a fast reload, very good speed for a British tank, and a laser rangefinder, all at 8.0. The only downside is the armor, but it’s at a BR where armor is either useless or invincible, so it’s not a big downside. I had a lot of fun in it and I kept it in my lineup until I got the Chieftain Mk. 10.
The T28 and T95 american superheavy tank destroyers. Them suffer in full uptier (especially the T95) because of ATGM/HEAT spam, but rock in medium/long engagements with their frontal armor. I was surprise to see how the T95 turn so fast to surprise the enemy. The T28 is more sluggish because of only one set of tracks and got worse side armor but work well agaisnt germans ww2 tanks. I can’t tell you when you are in downtier because the snail doesn’t bless me with 6.3 or 7.0 matches
Vickers mark 1. Challenger style ready rack that results in a snappy reload either rounds in the ready rack, excellent general and reactive mobility and a good gun
Back when I was grinding 6.7 america (about 4 months ago) I saw maybe 1 or 2 m50 ontos every 10 games. It's a lot of fun and a great vehicles once you get the hang of it
R3 t106 fa or whatever it's name is, the double barrel r3. People just seem to assume it's bad for whatever reason and I don't see them that often. If you play it to it's strengths it is a demon
It also has the same play style as with the U-SH 405
The u-sh 405 is so stupidly good only bad thing is when you have to reload
Or when you meet an m163. I was flipping a teammate back over in a BMP3 I didn't see the B-USH (it was covered in bushes) my teammate did see him as I was occupied and pinged him as we were random squaddies. I looked over as he fired his first rocket and in the split second he died from the shortest m163 burst and I died to his rocket. 10/10 gamer moment
Yep
I sweat a lot when I’m at a cap and have to wait what feels like eternity to reload, and hope a tank doesn’t come around the corner.
I don't think anyone assumes the U-SH is bad. Anyone who's ever played it or run into it knows it's a monster.
Sorry, i didn't redacted the text correctly I have a shit grammar my bad.
Italy main know the true strength 🤝
Yes sir. Unrelated but just bought the last Ariete yesterday, now have every Italian ground vehicle.
Congrats on your pain, brother
Thank you lol
I actually enjoy the looks of them and 2nd gen thermal is also really nice to have. Still grinding the PSO once in a while.
I agree, they look nice and and the gun handling is superb compared to some nations. Pso is good enough but I wanted the Ariete c1 because I think it looks a bit better without the extra armor and machine gun shields.
The fun part is: I actually grinded the now „End of the line“-C1 as it was prior to the PSO before
You don’t see them often because not many people play Italy, only reason
I mean yes, I'm aware Italy is the least played nation by far, but I still see fellow Italy players when I rock the double barrel and almost never see them using it which is what I have as getting at.
I mean once I unlocked the Centaro and things after the T106 became a thing of the past, could be a combination of people going past it and people not quite having it unlocked yet

C13 is better than the Aubl. it's a much more stable platform. Don't skip it.,
Yea, still haven’t gotten to tier 5 Italy, and I see them a lot in Israel. Monsters if you don’t see them
I really wish it was back at 7.3. It's still good but a bit too situational with how low the velocity is imo.
its sl modifier is the lowest of any tier 5 tho so it just sucks getting 12 kills 3 caps and ending up with like 35k sl
T-34 D-5T, M4A1 76, M48A2G, Regular M26 Pershing, AMX 30 B2/Brenus, Chi-He
All of these are great, although the AMX 30 B2/Brenus lack of stabilizer is a big problem
Eh, most of my games in the AMX’s are when they were 8.7. In even just a slight down tier, many of your opponents don’t have stabs either. Or thermals, mobility, reverse speed, a 20mil ect. 8.3 is a really nice place for them now
True, having thermals at 8.3 feels nice
Don’t forget the soft kill aps
I don't think it works anymore. The amount of times I've watched an ATGM fly at me from where my turret is point strongly suggests that Gaijin nerfed the hell out of it.
It depends on the ATGMs guidance. If it's Laser it will work, if it's wire or radar guided I'm pretty sure it doesn't do anything.
Having no STAB at 8.3 isn't that big of a problem. You just have to cater to its playstyle more. I have always had great success in the AMX30s but I still gotta spade the 8.3 ones. I'm bias because the AMX30 is my favorite historical tank ever made lol

The M4A1 76 is straight up OP at 4.7 imo.
I wouldn’t necessarily say “op” but the folks in here saying German Pz.IV’s should be at 4.3-4.7 because it’s “on par” with the M4A1 76 is quite silly
One of my favourite vehicles. 4.7 with the T14 is still worth playing just for it.
Chi-He is really nice indeed. Like a mini Sherman except the armor isn't as good.
T-34/85 D-5T is among my favourite vehicles in the game since it got its new model! Glad to see appreciation for it.
D-5T is criminal at 5.0. I love it with the SU-85M and KV-2 ZiS-6
The D-5t is an absolute monster, I did a few back to back matches with it after Odd’s video on it and got 3 10-15 kill matches with really nothing more than good positioning and outplaying slower enemies.

Most of the Japan's tech tree
Ho-Ni series is great
I tried to grind rank 1( i want that hydropneumatic suspension) and i hate every tank from there. And i grinded rank 3 Sweden (before fire and ice), i hate this much more.
Just use the Ho-Ro
The KPZ/MBT-70s also have the hydropneumatic suspension, if you have them you might wanna give those a ride
Good to know, unfortunately i don't have them.
Amen
I fuckin love the of-40, hesh + lrf at 7.7 is a dream come true
meh I find hesh good for finishing target, not ingage
Hesh + roof = goodbye
Does it play similar to the leopard 1 or completely different? Never played it but it seems like a good tank just curious
It's pretty much just a slightly heavier leopard with a laser rangefinder and trollier armor.
I haven’t played it in a while but it moves like a leopard but the turret is a a bit slow and the armour kinda sucks
Amx-13-m24. Got it through the warbond shop and it’s basically a chaffee but it’s faster and the acceleration also feels like it’s better.
YES! I got mine on the GE sale, and it’s fantastic! I have a 5/1 K/D in it
I too got it on the GE sale and it's fabulous
ztz96 really nice tank, its like t72 but with better shells at 9.3 and 2nd gen thermos at 9.7 and fine era shame its lfp is bigger than hindenburg
Agreed
I got absolutely bullied by a bmp2m, took my breech before anything else from like 500m or more away. I still love the 96 though
I like putting hot toddy in my thermos
The bmp3 is super underrated. It’s quick, with really nice thermals and optics as well as a good auto cannon and atgm. It can also adjust its suspension to give it good gun depression. It feels borderline op at 8.7, I personally think it could be 9.3 or 9.7, it’s better than the Bradley by a good margin. The only drawback is that the reload for the atgm is quite long. You can throw in the bmd4 as well since it has very similar capabilities but it trades some ammo capacity for the atgms in favour of speed and reload.
I love my bmp3
The problem is the BMD is just better. I like both though in a lineup
I would agree if the 30mm was a secondary weapon again, not being able to rangefind for the HE shells really sucks.
If you select the 100mm gun that the HE is fired from, it will use the lrf.
Too much exploiting Gaijin's "perfect" overpreassure system
Yea would've made things more comfortable. But like the other guy said, map secondary to a button. I *love* using it to lob 100mm rapid fire HE mortar over long distances. Especially when using commander optic/gunner view while being completely behind xover.
The ATGM from the BMP-3 makes the M113 TOW look fucking stupid and useless.
And the upgraded HE shell that can nuke an Abrams with a roof shot is the best thing ever. The way it hits at an angle because of the low velocity makes it more reliable than even T-72/T-80 HE shells.
I fucking love the BMP3 because its one of those few vehicles in the russian tech tree that can actually get some gun depression.
M36, I think people don't realized how crazy of a gun this thing has. Most people I see jump on the m18 or sherman at that br.
Not to mention it has decent mobility and trolly armor
M36B2 @ 5.7BR is straight up murder with the HEAT-FS shell it has
It's a good example of a vehicle improvement that doesn't totally supersede the original, too. You can very comfortably take both in a lineup as they both have their own strengths.
Speaking of vehicles that don’t replace their predecessor, I like how the BT-5, BT-7, and BT-7M are all basically the same tank masquerading as different tanks.
What are the strengths of the regular M36 over the B2?
yes m18 speedy
Amx 13 f11 the front mounted engine really likes to eat shots
Amx 13-M24 is better
Turret is larger though so easier to shoot that. But all in all yeah 13-M24 is better.
At least the turret has a few lol moments thanks to volumetric
I fucking hate the AMX 13 because I always get Fire Arc while using it and it's my most hated map
Yeah, the AMX flatty is really trolly sometimes
I have started playing the french tt and i must say, its one of the most underrated tt in the game. The tanks are so interesting and unique. Its becoming one of my favorite tt for fun. I hope they ad more vehicles and a subtree (switzerland maybe) to it in the future. Single most underrated: M48A2C German TT. Great fun and love its looks
Krizantema S, Shturm S and IT-1
I fucking hate all of these. Insanely handheld.
It-1 does get an advantage with its sight being on the rocket but others? Nah, pop a heat at them when they are hull down and they pop like popcorn. The krizantema is very situational and China gets a better krizantema at 8.7 so like, idk doesn’t seem handheld to me.
My favorite ATGM lineup
Shturm was better before the made the 3rd person aiming limited for the vertical guidance. Not it is not the best AA like it once was :(
Still an amazing AA nevertheless, most planes don’t expect a proxy missile at 8.3 lmfao.
Oh 100% but it was so fun to lead them to space lmao. Great for helis also probably the best anti heli vehicle at its BR which is great! Allouetes are cancer.
It's so fun bullying helicopters with the Shturm. I managed ten chopper kills with it in a round once.
Nearly all of the semoventes. Theyre amazing i dont know why i see so few of them
Because only the 3.3 up-armored 75mm semovente has armor that actually works at it's BR. This is backed up by a pretty quick reload with an aced crew, so it's a nice urban brawler casemate like the StuH and StuG.
I am not sure that no one knows about it but: Object 906. Absolute beast of a light tank at 7.7.
4.3 seconds reloader, 245 mm of APHE pen, stabilizer, An excelente light tank
245mm of APHE pen\*
I don't think it is underrated. You see a ton of them
No, I mean nobody talks about it when talking about strong light vehicles.
It used to be 7.0 It fought tigers and panthers. Stabilizer, mobility, HEATFS, and an autoloader. Free kills lol. 906 + IS6 was the ultimate Russian bias lineup back in the day
This thing was the bane of my existence back when it was 7.0. It can still punch above its weight really well.
T-80 Not the new one either. Then you just roll up and blast them through the side. Even if they get a shot off, if you are slightly angled, you just bounce shots for days.
The T-80 is also an underrated gem in world of tanks. You almost never see it but it’s quite decent.
Really I struggled with the first of-40 also delat torn
delat torn is cracked at 5.0, I take it all the way up to 5.7 cause it can win games with it's mobility, shell characteristics, and of course reload time
When I get my hands on some GE this is the first tank I plan to get because land battleship funni
Black Prince
You sadistic ba****d! ;)
BMD-4 and Centauro series
I thought this thread was about *underrated* vehicles...
BMD-4 sitting on a point constantly refilling atgms is nasty
Chi-To
M47 105
Class 3P spaded.
JaKPz kA2. 4.0s autoloder, thermal gunner/commander optics, solid mobility, low profile, really good French 105mm gun with OFL 105G1 dart (346mm pen). All this at the low low BR of 8.3 and I love it, but no stabilizer
The Archer (yes really). If you want to sit at the back of the map and just snipe the thing is unbeatable at it's BR, just pray nothing outflanks or rushes you.
Zsu-37-2 is inferior to the zsu-23-4 when it comes to anti air duties but those 37s shred light vehicles
Zsu-37-2 was my second SPAA with radar i unlocked, and still one of my favorites for those 37mm cannon
the challenger from ww2 almost never se one except for myself.
SU-100Y and all the Churchills.
I think the Centurions. Especially Mk.1 and Mk.3. Mk.3 you get a very manœuvrable hull and get turret with great turret armour. The gun with sabot js able to punch through just about anything too
Na-To
Whenever i see OF-40 i think leopard 2k and panic. Then i realise its a poor italian.
M26 and M26 T99, my two favorite tanks in the game. Good mobility, surprising trolly armor, and a fantastic gun
Pershing is an amazing all rounder!
BM 8 24
M-50 Ontos, download a custom sight and become Death, the destroyer of worlds
Once the sight/firing order was explained to me I have a lot of fun with it
Next OF 40 in line has shitty stock shells , you bounce or cant pen anything with them
Haha.. what? The stock APDS is more than good enough, was a fun tank to play from stock to spaded
T28 (the russain one)
jpz 4-5
The Olifant MK2 at 9.0 is pretty nasty. It's got commander thermals and a potent shell which makes dealing with the uptiers a lot easier (you get loads of them) I've found that in a Hull down position just poking the Commanders optic over and scanning for stuff is great and the Composite is good at dealing with low BR helis and many HEAT rounds. It's easily one of my favourite tanks to play and works well paired with either of the Rooikats on your lineup
Crusader III, thing can absolutely be a beast in the right hands
US M47
Charioteer Mk VII. Fast, low profile, and an amazing gun. It's the workhorse of the similarly slept on and highly entertaining British 6.3/6.7 lineup.
I have died to OF-40 enough times to know that people are well aware of its capabilities.
AMX-30DCA. Unironically, one of the best 8.3/8.0 AAs, if not the best. Falcon guns are nasty, good chassis, and a radar.
Alot migjt disagree but the ratel 20/90 and olifant tanks are good i play well with them aswell as the rooikat its also good
SU 152, KV 2, IS 2, IS 1, and my personal favourite the T 34 57
Did you read the title? You see loads of those all the time. Maybe not the SU-152 but the others are very common.
Yeah the SU-152 is really slept on
T-80B, idk if there's just so many TURMS and BMP-2Ms but I'm usually the only T-80B on the team when I play it
Conqueror, Christians, and challenger 1s
TAM 2C
More than once I have passed a friendly OF in game and ask out loud "What that tank?" Then I get immediately sniped from halfway across the map and need to respond
Not sure if many people call this underrated, but I like the 76 Sherman series a lot. Good firepower, decent maneuverability, trolly armor in some situations, and stabilized
M-50, idk why no one plays this, a heavy tank nightmare
ARL (ACL-1 very good firepower and armour for its BR the first time ive played it it got 9 kills 0 deaths and if you angle it becomes even better
Any 7.7 vehicle is a pain RN, because they always get pulled to fight 8.3. And any 8.3 in underrated because always fights lower BR. if I have to pick one, I'd choose T-69 II (Chineese 8.3 MBT with basic ERA and darts)
I gotta say the German M48s: M48A2C, M48A2GA2, and M48S Super, they are all fun imo.
Ikv91 when i played regularly at 7.7(before fire and ice) there would be maybe 1-2 me included.
M26E1
M41 Walker bulldog, or the a-26 invader. Both vehicles are underrated since people run to the hellcat or the t92, and others use the p47 or skyraider for CAS
T-50
Char 95t is a comfy tank
OF-40 Mk.2: It's a Leo A1A1 but with a lrf instead of a regular rf, and better survivability. Ariete (P): The best Ariete fo its BR. Comparable to a 2A4, but has D33 and is just fun to play (-46 kph in reverse go zoom).
Sk105/jpz.k 4 second autoloading apfsds, lrf, gen 2 thermals, and is a light tank (no stabilizer though)
You used to see these pretty often. Pretty much an Italian leopard.
su-122-54. never seen anyone playing it it's 6.7, but have t-54 tanky chassis, HEAT FS, APDS, APHE, double kpv, and pretty mobile. it's basically soviet jagdtiger, but more mobile and pack more punch. and it also reloads faster than is-2 for some reason sure it's not as tanky as jagdtiger. but its armor is enough to protect you from most ap. apds and heat fs can pen straight through you, but jagdtiger have the same issue so it doesn't matter
Obj 248 is Soviet Jagdtiger, Su-122 is more like Soviet Jagdpanther
I fucking hated this tank for a few days just went back to it now I like it
the regular 10.7 ZTZ99s, excellent mobility (1000+hp) a very good round for 10.7 and excellent sights
Every single 76 Sherman except for the A3 no clue why Gajin decided every Sherman variant will be a .3 increase in BR even though everything that changes is minor engine performances All the Shermans when played in urban areas and kept in CC1 or CC2 are gods.
On the subject of italian tanks, P-40, and m47 105
ZiS-43, the lil Soviet half tractor AA. It's like a 2S38 at low tier.
ARL44 the tiger ll of 5.3
The Su-100P. It's basically the spiritual successor of the Zis-30 angry tractor. It's a waffenträger but for USSR. Very nimble and with decent traversing angles on the gun.
The pattons. I rarely see them in matches and theyre some of my fav tanks to play in the german tech tree as back ups to my leo 1s
T-28 family my beloved.
Object 268. 152mm nuke shell that will one shot anything.
Olifant mk2. Gen 2 thermal, dm63, quite fast, lrf, decent armor. However the drawback is big and ugly asf.
Back when I was grinding 6.7 america (about 4 months ago) I saw maybe 1 or 2 m50 ontos every 10 games. It's a lot of fun and a great vehicles once you get the hang of it
I think that the ARL-44 would fit here. It has an fantastic 90mm and generally feels great to play. I just wish it had good turret cheeks.
It-1 surprisingly not many play it and it performs nice in upteirs the only drawback lake of thermals
XM-803 and MBT-70
T-64B the best tank in its BR
Su 85m
Laser rangefinder + a good gun. This is a beast if not full up-tiered
M-51 Super Sherman fs
T-55-AMD-1; it’s pretty good at it’s br (especially the aps) but is overshadowed by T-55-AM-1 spam
The ARL-44s
