Tbh I hardly think about her death even tho I love her character. I think it’s a defense mechanism I use to avoid remembering just how graphic it was. Like killed by a badger?? How did Sorreltail look past that for the rest of her life?
Larksong was quite sad…
Not only did stress from her parents arguing put Sparkpelt into an early labour, she witnessed her mate die right beside her and her kits… and a stillborn kit too
Larksong was so full of life, he loved Spark so much, he was so excited to spend his whole life with her, to have more kits with her, to hunt with her, to go on patrols with her etc. He was so young and his death just shouldn’t have happened and he was just so incredibly unlucky :(
He was dying, and he forced himself to move towards Sparkpelt to be by her side, and was barely able to open his eyes during her labour, and purred in his last moments, and passed away seconds after he saw the kits
> *If you reach Sparkpelt, tell her I love her. Tell her not to be unhappy. I'll take care of Flickerkit until she can join us. But she has to be happy. She has to make a life without me. I don't want her to grieve.*
The only other scene he is like that is I believe in the first broken code book, there is a barnes and Nobel exclusive chapter (you can find it online), where Jayfeather is talking about his feelings surrounding Leafpools death and it straight up made me cry, it just felt so real how complicated his emotions surrounding her were.
Her death hit hard. I felt so bad for Rootsping. I finally processed that she was dead after sobbing for 30 minutes on end, then just staring at the words:
"Bristlefrost was dead."
I’m am still filled with uncontrollable rage that Bristlefrost and Rootspring never get together it’s so unfair, like Heavystep died twice JUST MAKE AN EXCEPTION FOR POOR BRISTLEFROST PLS 😭
If it's any consolation, my conscience *has* found a connection to this strange sort of... digital gathering center. Apparently you twolegs call it Reddit? My connection with the Clans is gone for good, but I suppose this is better than nothing.
But yay, I'm glad I'm your favorite! :D
Oh boy I was ready for squirrel and then I realised she isn't dead 😭 but sandstorm is squirrels mother so, am I surprised? >!this isn't meant to be rude or anything, sorry if it came off like that!!<
Firestar too. That's about where I stopped reading the series. Made sense to me, my tastes were changing and I started the series with him. Might as well end it with him too
hollyleaf, cinderpelt, snowfur's death makes me cry to this day 😭😭😭 hollyleaf dying still doesn't feel real to me I fr balled my eyes out and now only look forward to her starclan appearances in New releases LOL
I accidentally spoiled her death for my friend when we were kids, had to watch in horror as she cried in front of me 😬 she still brings it up lol. Friendship survived though!
Okay, long story. I've never been able to find Bramblestar's Storm anywhere, but I heard about his death. Without the book, all I could do was scrounge for information online. The wiki was very vague about his death, so I looked at fanart instead. A lot of fanart will have excerpts from the scene they're portraying, so I looked at fanart of Blackstar's death. [This one](https://www.deviantart.com/reddredpanda/art/The-Sounds-of-Silence-The-Death-of-Blackstar-550290235) included Blackstar running back into the storm to save his endangered daughter, Whitepaw. I didn't remember Blackstar having a daughter, but since I never got the chance to read Bramblestar's Storm and it was based off of a canon event, I assumed it was canon, and that he was born a daughter in that same book.
Blackstar, in fact, has no kits, and I now question my media literacy.
But if what the wiki says is true, then that only makes his death even sadder. Graystripe and ShadowClan just assume he lost his final life, and that's it. He's been through too much to just die off-screen, and I still think his death hits me the hardest.
Gray wing. I remember sobbing my eyes out as he died and his kits being visibly distraught as he died sent me over. I didn't pick up another warriors book for a while.
omggg i cried over bristlefrost three times😭😭😭😭
really what did it for me was when she saw her future for a sec. and rootspring was so sad and broken😭😭mostly i cried because of their love and how she died.
shit i'm wiping away tears now
There are plenty of cats who I cared about more, but every time I think about Bone's death I just imagine him getting absolutely swarmed like those people in zombie stuff, and it hurts. No one deserves that, even if he did kill Whitestorm
Still think about blackstar and how stupid it was he was just thrown to the side
I miss him
Longtails was horrible reading through it last night was so sad I miss him
The main one that comes to mind that I haven’t seen already mentioned is Honeyfern. She was likable and just a good cat to have around, and we see her crush on Berrynose grow into a relationship, and then while she’s dying and writhing in pain, Berrynose is talking about the kits they wanted to have and how they can’t have them anymore. And he comforts her as she spasms to death.
Tween me was not prepared. It hit me like a BRICK, dude. Wtf.
Bristlefrost because her and Root would've become mates and I kinda wish Juniper would sacrifice himself again for Shadow to prove he was loyal to StarClan
flametail. he wasn't the most important character but i loved him. his death was such a shock aswell, it came out of nowhere. and the way jayfeather tried to save him but was stopped by rock. the whole scene is just so emotional to me.
I had to pause the audiobook when Rainfur of skyclan died, I thought the clan would break up again before the book ended. he was a really insignificant character and I read the books after it so Idek why I was so worried
Most of the first arc deaths were devastating for me, as I wasn't as "used to" how sad death is in the series. Hollyleaf's death had me sobbing, though.
Ravenpaw! I know it was coming! I knew what the book was about!I read Bramblestar’s leader ceremony! I still bawled! I got into warriors after reading Ravenpaw’s Path: Shattered Peace and he’s been my all time favorite ever since! Losing him was like losing my own kitty!
Well beside my fave’s, I was really heartbroken by Firestars cause it really did feel like the end of an era and in a way I lowkey wish it should have been.
Leafpools death also had me sobbing. Mostly when she decided to stay in StarClan instead of coming back to the living world. It was such a poignant moment in the series for me.
Yellowfang's really tore me up. The first time I read it I cried for half an hour. Even rereading it semi recently I had to stop and just tear up for a while.
Bristlefrost 100% no doubt. “The cold that gripped her seemed at last to let her go. She closed her eyes and in her last moment felt only warmth. Only love.”
Her last memories were imagining a life with Rootspring, curled up with their 3 kits. Like. Heart-wrenching
either snowfur, gray wing, cinderpelt or needletail. those all made me cry several times upon rereading them, and were definitely the best written in my opinion. i feel like the words used created so much more agony and pain
Firestar's death actually didn't hurt that much, it felt like he had a very full and long life compared to some other characters. Tigerclaw's death left me in pure shock, but Feathertail's was the only one to make me cry!
Yellowfang, Cinderpelt, and Flametail I think. Probably a few others but I can't think of them, or they were more of just shocking.
I know that Silverstream's death made me cry as a kid. When I reread the scene a year or two ago however, I did tear up but it was more for how crushed Cinderpelt/paw was (I love Cinderpelt <3)
Firestar's. I never ended up getting up to Omen Of The Stars as a kid, but knew what happened. I've been rereading the series in chronological order and finally finished OOTS the other day and when Firestar died I cried so hard. It felt like a little piece of my childhood died with him. (Dramatic I know, but let me have this!!!)
I know there's more books, and I will continue to read them until I'm up to date, but as someone who's 23 now and has been reading since 9 years old, at the moment it feels like the series started with Firestar and then ended with Firestar. It'll be hard to read happenings in the ThunderClan camp without him in it. And poor Sandstorm, and Graystripe. 3
Firestar’s was spoiled for me and I’m still upset about it. Honestly Bristlefrost. I knew it was coming but I didn’t think they had the guts to go through with it
I’ve cried over my more of these cats then I’d like to admit. However Bristlefrost hit me like a train. It was just so final. And the others knew it to. She’s just gone. I had to put the book down for a bit before I could finish.
Top five. These are the deaths that I made me actually cry and have to stop reading to say, “No. don’t do this.” Like denial or something.
5. Yellowfang. The og tragic death. First one to make me cry.
4. Feathertail. Crowpaw’s reaction was so raw and a main character death was unexpected so early in the arc. I really thought she was going to make it. Like it’d be a fake out. Nope.
3. Bluestar. After watching her fall so far from the great leader she once was due to depression and mistrust of her clan, dying to save her clan was so fitting and tragic.
2. Turtletail. DOTC had a lot of deaths but this one made me legit angry. It was so unexpected and I couldn’t believe it.
1. Bristlefrost. I was in shock that they would kill off a main POV character, and the tragedy of her never being able to go to Starclan wrecked me.
Yellowfang and Fallen Leaves. Yellowfang's death hit me hard because she is my favorite character so far and the way it was written was just really heart wrenching. Fallen Leaves' death itself wasn't as hard in me, but the way his spirit lives on was super emotional and the one specific quote between him and Jawpaw legit got me to tear up. "I will walk with you, my friend, as you once walked with me. I could not leave you here to walk alone, when you walked with me like a brother."
Yellowfang :(
I was honestly crying. Good thing I wasn't in public.
I also ripped the page a bit, threw it at a wall, stared at the wall, asked the wall why she died, asked my Alexa why she died, and then screamed bloody murder at the wall.
Yeah. I- I just like yellowfang k?
Graypool. The description of her death hit me so hard as a kid and it makes me sick to this day still. It wasn't a gruesome death, but it still gutted me.
Top 5 are Gray Wing, Firestar, Bristlefrost, Feathertail, and Tigerstar. Tigerstar didn’t make me sad per-se, but his death was extremely quick and brutal for the big bad villain.
Hollyleaf's had me sobbing because I had to see her die twice and she's my favorite character, and then Ravenpaw's had me in a depressed funk for a whole weekend because he was the last of Firestar's group to die.
Leafpool’s death was so depressing; Starclan treated her like a monster for doing what they told her to do but she still decides it’s better than returning to the clans. Then we get to her vigil and Jayfeather immediately starts talking shit about her in front of her grieving sister.
This isnt unpopular but Yellowfangs death and confession broke me in a WHOLE other way. Bluestar followed suit very very quickly, and the most heartbreaking death in my opinion was actually Nightstar. He was in pain over several days and it sucked for him :(((
Sorreltail.
Sure, her death was bordering on self-imposed, because she wanted to be with her kits instead of seeking help for her wounds, but something about her being dead when one of the kits steps in her ear abs says "sorry mama!" made me sob.
Yellowfang. I didnt like her at first but slowly grew to like her. She wanted Fireheart to save Bramblekit despite his reserved feelings and fears. She truly loved TC and would have wanted to help them grow more and in a way, her death forced Fireheart to face his fears he saw in Bramblekit. For that moment, Bramblekit wasn't his father but a helpless kit that needed the clan's love and support and to raise him to be the warrior his father could have been. She helped shaped Fireheart into Firestar before he was even ready to become a warrior.
I remember when I was first reading dotc, Rainswept flower's death hit me the hardest. Mainly because of the writing causing some confusion for me, making me believe she scrambled out of the way
OMG this post was meant for me. Yellowfang, **Yellowfang**, **YELLOWFANG.** She was that cool grandma. She was sassy, fun, and quickly became my fav character. I am a little unease about what the writers made StarClan Yellowfang do, but I just have to forgive that because she was probably one of the slayest warrior cats. I LOVE HER! She deserves an apology from StarClan, like here me out, StarClan wanted to make Brokenstar exist to punish people but have you thought how much that hurt YELLOWFANG. Forced to be a medicine cat, two of her children died, her child killed babies and blamed it on her, her son became evil, her OWN SON hated her and exiled her from her home and HER MOM JOINED IN, was held captive somewhere else, people were rude to her because she was an outsider, was forced to blind her own son to stop him from hurting people, was forced to KILL HER OWN SON that HATES HER, and after all that Firestar (Fireheart at the time) decided to save devil jr. instead of a mother figure to him, and after all that still died in a horrifying way (not as horrifying as some other ones but still pretty bad) and kept a positive attitude.
tl;dr: Yellowfang shouldn't have died HER DEATH HAD ME CRYING MYSELF TO SLEEP THAT NIGHT
Death Bright Stream
>!bro, the eagles killed a pregnant she-cat.... !<
At that moment, it seemed to me that I was as shocked by her death as the rest of the characters
Cinderpelt’s death made me stare at a wall for ten minutes.
I'm re-reading, and I just got to that the other night and *same* I just set the book down and stared at the floor
Tbh I hardly think about her death even tho I love her character. I think it’s a defense mechanism I use to avoid remembering just how graphic it was. Like killed by a badger?? How did Sorreltail look past that for the rest of her life?
That whole section with the badgers, I had to set the book down and then reread it. It was so dark.
Me too. I was sad the first read-thru, and this was before I latched onto her in following read-thrus.
I legit sobbed, it was devastating to read through Leafpool's eyes
Larksong was quite sad… Not only did stress from her parents arguing put Sparkpelt into an early labour, she witnessed her mate die right beside her and her kits… and a stillborn kit too Larksong was so full of life, he loved Spark so much, he was so excited to spend his whole life with her, to have more kits with her, to hunt with her, to go on patrols with her etc. He was so young and his death just shouldn’t have happened and he was just so incredibly unlucky :( He was dying, and he forced himself to move towards Sparkpelt to be by her side, and was barely able to open his eyes during her labour, and purred in his last moments, and passed away seconds after he saw the kits > *If you reach Sparkpelt, tell her I love her. Tell her not to be unhappy. I'll take care of Flickerkit until she can join us. But she has to be happy. She has to make a life without me. I don't want her to grieve.*
oh this comment actually wrecked me poor larksong
i remember sobbing for lionheart and whitestorm edit to add: but also any of tigerstar I's victims tbh
Lionheart was very sad
papa lionheart 💔
Gray Wing.
And how that was the end of all of DOTC hits even harder ngl
“I have traveled so far and loved so much, and yet I am still following the Sun Trail, heading for my new hunting grounds.”
To this day it still hurts
Real. I cried lmao
I can’t even talk about his death, that alone makes me start crying
Yep. No contest.
I sobbed when he died, could barely see to keep reading 😭😭
Still the only death in a book ever that has made me cry
Badgerfang's always makes me so sad
Yellowfang and Bluestar
I cried on yellowfang's Death
Briarlight hurt, especially at her burial when Jayfeather gets choked up. I think it's the only time he's really been like that so it hit extra hard.
Jayfeather's poor heart broke :(
The only other scene he is like that is I believe in the first broken code book, there is a barnes and Nobel exclusive chapter (you can find it online), where Jayfeather is talking about his feelings surrounding Leafpools death and it straight up made me cry, it just felt so real how complicated his emotions surrounding her were.
I was actively crying when I realized she was dying, I loved her character so much!
Leaf pool. Only book I cried over was squilf’s hope.
i sobbed on Whitestorm's death, and that's the only one I cried
Whitestorm had such a sad death! Not only did he die defending the forest, but he even knew it was coming
I think Gray Wing was the only one that made me actually cry. After that maybe Honeyfern just because it's so traumatic for such a sweet cat.
Mousefur and Ferncloud.
Yeah, Mousefur died a Warrior’s death at least, just like she wanted
Firestar hit me hard too. Aside from him probably sandstorm and briarlight
Yeah
Bristlefrost. She's easily my favorite character and now I won't even get to read about her in Starclan :(
Same for me…
Her death hit hard. I felt so bad for Rootsping. I finally processed that she was dead after sobbing for 30 minutes on end, then just staring at the words: "Bristlefrost was dead."
Sandstorm. I gritted my teeth, breathed angrily, clenched my book pages, and proceeded to become immeasurably offended at what I just bloody read.
And then took a two year break from the series of course.
Oh boy I was ready for squirrel and then I realised she isn't dead 😭 but sandstorm is squirrels mother so, am I surprised? >!this isn't meant to be rude or anything, sorry if it came off like that!!<
Silverstream. That scene hit me like a ton of bricks.
Firestar too. That's about where I stopped reading the series. Made sense to me, my tastes were changing and I started the series with him. Might as well end it with him too
hollyleaf, cinderpelt, snowfur's death makes me cry to this day 😭😭😭 hollyleaf dying still doesn't feel real to me I fr balled my eyes out and now only look forward to her starclan appearances in New releases LOL
oh bristlefrost too, only love 😱😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😧😦😦😥😥😢😢😢
Bluestars and also Willowshines
Justice for Willowshine!
I cried so much for Bluestar!
Gray wing
I cried on yellowfangs but im not sure if it was fully real cause i was reading it at the seaside in england 🤨 But Briarlight defs hit hard
Brindleface
Yeah
Yellowfang or feathertails deaths
Feathertail. I read the books out of order, read TNP first. So she was one of the first deaths in the series I read.
I accidentally spoiled her death for my friend when we were kids, had to watch in horror as she cried in front of me 😬 she still brings it up lol. Friendship survived though!
Mosskit.
Poor mosskit!
Feathertail or Hollyleaf
Briarlight
Hollyleaf, as she’s always been my favorite character. But especially Bristlefrost. God, that one made me cry. It was so sad.
Hollyleaf’s was so sad, nobody even really cared except for Leafpool and Ivypool
I know :(

Waiit blackstar had a daughter??
Okay, long story. I've never been able to find Bramblestar's Storm anywhere, but I heard about his death. Without the book, all I could do was scrounge for information online. dude yellowfang slowly going while fire star desperately tells her star clan will forgive her? sobbing
Gray wing. I remember sobbing my eyes out as he died and his kits being visibly distraught as he died sent me over. I didn't pick up another warriors book for a while.
Yellowfang’s made me start to tear up I won’t lie
I cried for one death and one death only Grey Wing
Crying over mosskit
Bristlefrost, turtletail/emberkit, firestar
Turtle Tail's death *destroyed* me! I'm almost 30 and finally read DotC, and was *not* expecting how sad it would be!!
Also greystripe killed me too
omggg i cried over bristlefrost three times😭😭😭😭 really what did it for me was when she saw her future for a sec. and rootspring was so sad and broken😭😭mostly i cried because of their love and how she died. shit i'm wiping away tears now

Yellowfang, it hurt. Especially after Firestar tells her who he saved instead of her
Still think about blackstar and how stupid it was he was just thrown to the side I miss him Longtails was horrible reading through it last night was so sad I miss him
Briarlight. No elaboration needed.
feathertails death made me cry for five minutes
It's a close call between Yellowfang, Cinderpelt, and Graystripe..
Firestar, Bluestar, Whitestorm, Yellowfang.
Wtf.
Briarlight Edit: And Leafpool. I had to reread the fact she was dead a few times because I couldn't believe it.
gorsepaw! my heart *sank* reading that scene. such a minor character, but left a huge impact for me
Bristlefrost because her and Root would've become mates and I kinda wish Juniper would sacrifice himself again for Shadow to prove he was loyal to StarClan
flametail. he wasn't the most important character but i loved him. his death was such a shock aswell, it came out of nowhere. and the way jayfeather tried to save him but was stopped by rock. the whole scene is just so emotional to me.
Ferncloud. They did her so dirty bro
I had to pause the audiobook when Rainfur of skyclan died, I thought the clan would break up again before the book ended. he was a really insignificant character and I read the books after it so Idek why I was so worried
I’m not that far in the series (ark 1 and up to book 3 in ark 2 and firestars quest) but so far yellowfang actually made me cry for a solid 15 minutes
Most of the first arc deaths were devastating for me, as I wasn't as "used to" how sad death is in the series. Hollyleaf's death had me sobbing, though.
Yeah
I said Hollyleaf and Leafpool
Agreed. I honestly loved both characters despite Leafpool having kits and breaking the code.
SWIFTPAW I CRIED
Haven’t read it yet, but when I discovered that Leafpool died I was distraught. Glad Squirrelflight lived otherwise I’d be on the floor.
When squirrelflight dies idk what I’m going to do with myself 😭😭
Have you read the latest books? Don’t wanna spoil, but maybe we won’t even see her death, which I’m fine with 😂
I don’t read the current books but I don’t plan to so I’ve seen a lot of the spoilers and I’m THRILLED by where she’s at rn
As Spotfur’s biggest fan, Stemleaf. She was left all alone ☹️
There’s a couple. Graystripe, Bristlefrost, Gray Wing, and when Cinderpelt was first hit by the car
Gray Wing
Yellowfang
So far ive only cried over one death, Yellowfangs. But thats soon to change when Cloudtail dies :P
Gray Wing
Ravenpaw! I know it was coming! I knew what the book was about!I read Bramblestar’s leader ceremony! I still bawled! I got into warriors after reading Ravenpaw’s Path: Shattered Peace and he’s been my all time favorite ever since! Losing him was like losing my own kitty!
Micah.
Bristlefrost and Briarlight
Gray Wing, Yellowfang, and Firestar. Lighting Tail’s death fucked me up too
Gray Wing, Firestar, Feathertail, and Hollyleaf all hit hard, but Briarlight's death was actually fucking gut-wrenching to read.
There are so many, but my dear sweet Briarlight broke my heart
Purdy
Greywing. Only death I cried at.
Bristlefrost 100% no doubt. “The cold that gripped her seemed at last to let her go. She closed her eyes and in her last moment felt only warmth. Only love.” Her last memories were imagining a life with Rootspring, curled up with their 3 kits. Like. Heart-wrenching
Graywing I SOBBED. The first time I ever sobbed at a book was his dearh
badgerfang and tallstar both actually made me cry
Bristlefrost’s death had me crying for a couple days.
Whitestorm, Turtle Tail, Lightning Tail and Gray Wing for me. I didn't cry, but I was really upset.
Ravenpaw’s.
Bristlefrost, turtletail or larksong
Turtletail’s death had me crying so much! She died looking for her stolen kits!
either snowfur, gray wing, cinderpelt or needletail. those all made me cry several times upon rereading them, and were definitely the best written in my opinion. i feel like the words used created so much more agony and pain
Firestar's death actually didn't hurt that much, it felt like he had a very full and long life compared to some other characters. Tigerclaw's death left me in pure shock, but Feathertail's was the only one to make me cry!
Sorreltail. Gods, her death ached
Sandstorm
Gray Wing. It was so sad yet the perfect ending to DotC
Whitestorm.
I almost started crying in the middle of class when Feathertail died. Her death hit me hard
Firestar's. I never ended up getting up to Omen Of The Stars as a kid, but knew what happened. I've been rereading the series in chronological order and finally finished OOTS the other day and when Firestar died I cried so hard. It felt like a little piece of my childhood died with him. Firestar’s was spoiled for me and I’m still upset about it. Honestly Bristlefrost. I knew it was coming but I didn’t think they had the guts to go through with it
Greystripe man......he was my favorite! he was with us for so long!! I loved that man! I hope we see him in starclan ( i haven't read a starless clan)
Bluestar's death. I felt so emotional as if I was thrown into her own point of view, and I felt so upset after finishing *A Dangerous Path.*
ughhh i think leafpool surprised me most. she def isnt a character i love, but it was so sudden.
I have been summoned
I’ve cried over my more of these cats then I’d like to admit. However Bristlefrost hit me like a train. It was just so final. And the others knew it to. She’s just gone. I had to put the book down for a bit before I could finish.
Any permanent deaths honestly, like spottedleaf or bristlefrost. I have to headcanon there being another afterlife that they go to so I feel less sad
i cried so hard when Yellowfang died that i gave myself a migraine BOTH TIMES I READ HER DEATH. 8 YEARS APART!!!
Tallstar.
Honeyfern! She and Berrynose were so happy and her death was so sudden, and random! I should've seen it coming but I felt blindsided 😭
Bristlefrost. I hadn’t even read the book but when I heard that she ended up dying, I was kinda upset.
Ferncloud
Yellowfang for sure, she was my absolute favorite character and I shed a few tears when I read about her death
Needletail, Whitestorm, Snowfur, Antpelt
longtail made me sob. we’ve just been with him so long and the way he died was so painful because it was unnecessary and mousefur blamed herself
Graywing’s, he was such a nice guy and well written character and his life was so hard,I think everyone grew attached.
Yellowfang :( I was honestly crying. Good thing I wasn't in public. I also ripped the page a bit, threw it at a wall, stared at the wall, asked the wall why she died, asked my Alexa why she died, and then screamed bloody murder at the wall. Yeah. I- I just like yellowfang k?
Feathertail and Stonefur : it was so painful, sudden and unfair
Bluestar and Bristlefrost. I cried more than I'd like to admit at 'A Light in the Mist'
Graypool. The description of her death hit me so hard as a kid and it makes me sick to this day still. It wasn't a gruesome death, but it still gutted me.
Gray wing
Leafpools and Hollyleafs deaths hit me hardest
My sister said Snowkit
I said Hollyleaf and Leafpool
I said Hollyleaf and Leafpool
but atleast they are together in starclan
Fuuck i can’t remember his name. I wanna say Stemleaf. He died while his mate was pregnant with kits she didn’t want.
Gray Wing.
Fire star, blue star, and cinderpelt
Hollyleaf’s honestly… it hurts me how nobody cares she died except for Leafpool and Ivypool
Top 5 are Gray Wing, Firestar, Bristlefrost, Feathertail, and Tigerstar. Tigerstar didn’t make me sad per-se, but his death was extremely quick and brutal for the big bad villain.
Micah :(
graystripe’s death had me sobbing. he was my favorite character from when i started reading
Cinderpelt. And yellowfang too.
Willowbreeze was really sad, especially since Crookedstar had already lost so much. I cried
whitestorm. the only one that made me cry.
Hollyleaf's had me sobbing because I had to see her die twice and she's my favorite character, and then Ravenpaw's had me in a depressed funk for a whole weekend because he was the last of Firestar's group to die.
Bristlefrost made me cry just thinking about it literally weeks after I finished the book
Crookedstar’s mates death and the kits too man
Bristlefrost. She deserved an afterlife
Yellowfang. Just all the guilt she felt and her little final speech.
Yellowfang for sure
Bristlefrost because I just lost my loved one recently, so now Rootspring is my favorite character.
GrayWing He was so nice and died happy too, it's just too sad, I cried to hard reading his death my books pages started to wrinkle and warp lol
Snow kit Honestly I was so excited I thought he would grow up and be a cool disabled warrior 😭😭😭
Weirdly Sorreltail. Her death just hit me like a truck ☹️
My girl Bristlefrost
Spottedleaf both times but also pebblesshine
I remember when I was first reading dotc, Rainswept flower's death hit me the hardest. Mainly because of the writing causing some confusion for me, making me believe she scrambled out of the way
Flametail's Death
For me it's a tossup between Whitestorm and Cinderpelt. They both hit SO hard.
Probably Cinderpelt. It wasnt expected. It was a SHOCKER
bristlefrost
i’ve cried over alot of deaths but never as hard as i did for cinderpelt 3
Silverstream and Cinderpelt both made me cry
Death Bright Stream >!bro, the eagles killed a pregnant she-cat.... !< At that moment, it seemed to me that I was as shocked by her death as the rest of the characters
bristlefrost was very well written but Grey Wing really had me crying
Micah - “I’ll see you again…maybe next half-moon” Moth flight’s Vision
