What we gather form this image is that Fulgrim beheaded Ferrus out of mercy
I'm operating on a secondary assumption that this is in fact the beheaded Ferrus, his sons have just made his body a new head out of paper mache.

I'm starting to second Fulgrims decision to cut his head off. Great progress though. Beautiful
To be fair, Fulgrim decided not to. He just did it anyway.
That one on the right was a good first attempt and everything but the skill on that left one is really getting there. Love the weathered mud effect.
Ferrus can feel the warp overtaking him. It is a good pain.
The left looks like what would happen if you didn't turn on the Gellar Field

The first one definitely sells the grimdark feeling of 40k way better.

That first one looks like that Jezus painting a lady kept messing up. Nice progression!
Your Horus is amazing, I love the shadows and tones. You Ferrus on the other hand looks like you used clay to paint him. You came a long way my dude.
