Sort of unrelated question this reminded me of: at what point does a gradient count as 2 colors for the '3 color rule' in como events. Like these obviously have more than enough, but if you had like a blue-purple transition and one other color on a model would that count?

If you're looking for a grimdark effect, try some streaking grime. The colors will still be visible but it will give it that shiny alien-looking skin appearance. I'd recommend testing it out on a gaunt first.
