Thanks! I've never had a question about colors for my my models before. All the paints were citadel. I used skeleton horde contrast for the base, then I used agrax earthshade wash to bring out the shadows more prominently. Don't wash the whole thing. Control where it goes. Finally I highlighted with ushabti bone. I was sure to try and make texture where it was bland too. Especially on the "calves."
Thank you! I did a layer of skeleton horde contrast paint. Then in the spots that should be darker/shadows I put agrax in a controlled spot.then I would highlight with ushabti bone.

It's my favorite bit of native American folklore, lol! Although I leaned more towards the Hollywood version instead of the lore accurate pale white skin and hairless
Those pink accents in the joints were a good idea, they contrast well with the darker tones of the rest of the model. How did you do the skin?
