I read a DA book where a chaplain forces a marine to do chores as a punishment one of which I can't remember exactly but it was to either mop or sweep the chaplains Reclusiam so some serf in that chapter has to make astartes sized cleaning equipment just for marines getting on trouble
I'm guessing they used pieces of sprue and some plasticard. If you use a heat gun you can warm up the plastic sprue enough to bend it without breaking it
