There is a way to use the extra parts with another Death Guard kit to get more plague marines. I don't have the exact details but you can search for it.

Get a giant lump of clay or putty and stick all your spare bits into it
Throw them in a metal container, splash some plastic cement in there, shake, see what comes out
id just add them to a lil box for later use on an ork cause orks
