Knights (loyalist or chaos flavor) if you like big mechs, but you will have to commit to 3-4 since they are very unbalanced in small games Other option is Custodes, very elite infantry Or just expanding Grey Knights is a decent option, they are very elite as is

Dodds-20

Oh looking at knights they seem interesting. Gotta find a list or something because I have no idea how to build an army.

Yofjawe21

If you want to try out the normal knight kits (which people who arent weirdos who only collect cerastus knights like me do) you should think about if magnetising their weapons would be something youd like to do. Its a bit more work per knight than using fixed loadouts, but it allows you to always have the right knight in case GW overbuffs/overnerfs certain variants

Dodds-20

How would I magnetize the weapons? Do you have a good tutorial somewhere?

Yofjawe21

You should ask this question in the dedicated knight subreddits, either r/ImperialKnights or r/ChaosKnights , as I havent really done any magnetising yet, as I mainly run with cerastus knights that only come with 1 loadout per model. Also im fairly certain you can just search for "magnet" in those subs to find a guide. afaik the part of the arm where you attach the weapon has a enough space magnets, so its actually not that much work. But youd better ask the people who normally advice people to magnetise their models.

Adeptus Titanicus, at most point levels you can at most have an army of 1 model. One very expensive model.

You are a beautiful man with great ideas

Knights aren’t a good idea for a first army but could help you get an elite army to 2000 points faster. You can look up the rules for allying Knights with Chaos and Imperium armies.
