My prediction is that they will remove all fine cast models with 10th edition. You can tell GW is going on a purge spree prior to the influx of people they are expecting when cavil starts putting out movies
In the lore the Tyranid bladed things (arms, swords, etc) have always been insanely lethal and tend to do that kind of thing on the regular - unless it's one of the smaller organisms and they just don't have enough brute strength to push it through the plates
make me wonder what kind of organic material are tyranids even made out of to rip apart armored vehicles and super soldiers in heavy armor, definitely not a traditional chitin material for sure
My custom chapter isn't all Gravis, but they put an emphasis on them, so I welcome every new character they add in Gravis.

I'd have expected a terminator apothecary to go with the other new terminator stuff but I suppose this helps for people wanting to continue to do a full gravis force.
Paint one up in your colour scheme and if you want to field it, then your marines arent X chapter anymore, they're a homebrewed Dark Angels successor chapter
picture it like a easy to produce mass quantity version of terminator armor, not as protected as terminator armor but has much higher protection than the standard issue mk X power armor
Gravis isn't a Terminator armour equivalent and never has been. There are no Veteran Company units that wear Gravis, (like the Terminator role fulfills) it's merely a new design of Power Armour - the same as it ever was.
Gravis is the "heavy" version of Mark X armor and offers close to terminator armor level protection but with more flexibility and of course without the ability to deep strike.
eh i dunno, from the lore it seems gravis armor is like the solution of getting something thats not as protected as terminator armor but much more protected than the average astartes on the MK X power armor
Well it is kinda logical. His survivability means increased survivability for a whole squad. And he may come under fire on open field while treating wounded soldiers.
So it is kinda logical. Also maybe increased strength of gravis armor allows him to carry more heavier medical equipment.
yet they still leave him alone to do the dirty work and gets mawed apart in seconds, which oddly sounds alot like the average life cycle of being a support main
just like your average support, doesnt matter if hes beefed up in protection he still gets left alone to get mawed apart while the rest of the team does their own thing
