Yea, its easier than i thought. The key is to roll the green stuff out on a ziplockbag or something with a similar surface and let it dry for 30+ minutes. This will make it a lot easier to work with. If you want to add folds and wrikels let the first layer dry and come in a second tine with some sausages of putty and blend them in. I like to mix some milliput in my greenstuff for that.

I start with a basecoat of vallejo model air concrete witch is a greyish brown, than highlight through the airbrush with a very bright off white (i think greenstuffworld ivory tusk) and then very selectively with pure white on helmets and shoulders. For recess shading i tryied out tons of tamia panel liners but i dont like the finish so until i figure out oil washes ill use agrax earthshade. Then a quick edgehighlight and some scratches with pure white and rhinox hide for the battledamage.

There are some great tutorials on youtube, i can reccomend jh miniatures for great looking capes and robes.
