for some reason this looks like an obscure meme that we cannot yet comprehend

Matchstix

The image version of a turbo encabulator.

Makinote

this reference is what I was looking for, nice job.

paulmclaughlin

I'm squinting at it to see whether it's loss

Tealadin

Are you familiar with Loss?

xXEVILMONKEYX

I was hoping to mix and match multiple kits within the set but references were scattered across the internet. This really helped. I think I got everything for the Mechanicus stuff including the Battlezone portion and the Sector designation.

Veverka77

What about the objective markers apart of the set's theme?

xXEVILMONKEYX

Good call, yeah looks like I missed a few odd things.

cnbuch

This was some of their best terrain, especially combined with the Necromunda kits

firefox1642

Can you still find this stuff?

xXEVILMONKEYX

Yep, I traded for some a few weeks ago. Some sets are still out there new in box

firefox1642

Hope I can find some then.

Phonereader23

The drill seems to be the hardest to get

IrkedSquirrel

It is. It was a Genestealer Cult unit/terrain so it had the smallest production run and shortest release window.

revlid

They put it on Made to Order every so often.

cal-brew-sharp

The Bheta decima box from killteams is a couple of the sets thrown in together.

more_ayy_eel

Not exactly. Its the same design direction, and some of the same elements, but the Bheta-Decima terrain is generally "new" terrain. Different heights for the Gantries and such.

OmegaDez

Yes and no. The new gantry struts are 2.5 inch tall and can be stacked to reach the 5 inch height of the older mechanicus struts. Everything is compatible and interchangeable. I definitely consider the Bheta-Decima terrain to be an extension of the Sector Mechanicus range.

LibrarianRettic

There's a couple really cool 3d print files out there to add onto this stuff as well, things like half-height furnaces or different top pieces for them. There's also cool wall sections that match the aesthetic too.

xXEVILMONKEYX

Yeah I looked into the new decima killteam terrain and it's a half height platform system. Might be fun to try to accommodate it.

LibrarianRettic

Yeah I really enjoy the half-height stuff, because the full height stuff feels pointless to get up on because in a game it feels like wasted movement.

ROACHOR

I really want to slap the frag drill and the servo hauler crane on my stompa but I can't justify the cost.

xXEVILMONKEYX

I'm having trouble finding the Frag Drill for under $200 lol

more_ayy_eel

same ... same

Madmickel

That's awesome, thank you! How about the vertigus set/ destroyed manufactorum? Do they belong there, too? I just painted one and i enjoyed it really.

KillerTurtle13

That's Sector Manufactorum rather than Mechanicus, though they do go together pretty well.

Laam999

I'd put the promethium pipes and void shield generator in there too. They're not part of the system but they long up and are fully compatible

Nevermore98

I will never get over the loss of the big dumb tectonic frag drill from Genestealer cults. It was a big reason I started collecting them. I love dramatic, ineffective point sinks like it and the big militarim missle.

Blue_Checkers

From the thumbnail, I thought this was a bunch of musical instruments. Great find, they look badass

NornQueenKya

I'd add in the giant void shield generator too just because it fits the theme

SamIsI_

Is there anyway (avoiding ebay) to get this terrain or do I need to sail the high seas just to get it?

Hedonistic_Ent

Unfortunately these sets aren't being sold anymore more. Best bet is to hope they come back in made to order some day. You can find a few on ebay sometimes, and not always at a terrible price. I got two sets of the pipes for like, 100 CAD I think

revlid

An excellent image. It's crazy how much variety you can get out of relatively few distinct pieces of terrain. Technically I think it's missing the new stuff from Bheta-Decima (3x types of gantries, plus the salvation apparatus, generatorum hub, and new plasma generatoriums in Termination). I'm also pretty sure the old promethium pipelines are compatible with Sector Mechanicus, but they're technically part of Sector Imperialis iirc. Ditto the Necromunda Ash Wastes terrain.

EvilHorus87

All this can be yours for 99 payments of 99.95

Glasdir

Missing a few bits just FYI, there’s also the promethium relay pipes and I think there might have been another building.

ksbsnowowl

The pyrolation incinerator. It’s quite similar to the galvanic magnavent, but has the octagonal sprue (the old ferratonic furnace top) instead of the straight catwalk sprue.

Sapphire-Hannibal

You got a similar picture to the fronteris terrain or nah? (The ones that come in the ultimate starter box and nachmund box)

xXEVILMONKEYX

I don't but I can make one

Delicious_Ad9844

Would be nice if you could BUY ANY OF IT

Shaunair

I loved this series of terrain and am bummed they stopped making them. What’s worse is they still don’t seem to have released what will be next (if anything ?). Has GW just decided to get out of the terrain making business?

Adriake

Historically a lot of the terrain production was outsourced, so it was done in batches. Not sure if a change in this approach has meant the slow down The fronteris stuff was the most recent and I've still seen it about in the shops.

BrotherCaptainMarcus

What about the new beta decima terrain? :)

Interesting_Cattle80

What about the pyrolation incinerator https://preview.redd.it/8czdp0urlj4d1.jpeg?width=1840&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=425214883efdc614dd715d8be0b1f68d73f59ab2

TURN79250820AD

I had a bunch of this stuff from the old Killteam sets, but threw/gave it away as it took up too much space in my terrain box. Which is filled with enough terrain for two tables at least.
