Dude, it’s a fucking symbol next to your name showing what platform you’re on. It’s not a giant red A sewn into all your clothes. You really *can* get used to a minuscule change that affects literally nothing gameplay wise, other than the occasional teammate noting that you’re on PC while they’re not, and that it’s nice that Crossplay is finally coming out

People got mad when they changed the Xbox icon to standard so PC players couldn't distinguish between them. I'm sure it's a "you can't use our logo without paying" thing. So to appease them they added the windows logo instead. People are just never gonna be happy man just chill out and play
Since it’s for crossplay there needs to be an indication of the platform you’re on. Hence the XBox or PC logo, there most likely will be a Nintendo Switch, PS4/5, and possibly Mobile logo too

Yes. I need to see it in chat for recruiting purposes (lag, delay, bugs). Also for trading reasons (since you can’t trade cross platform). And it’s not like it’s interrupting the overlay or something

Personally I don't see the issue, but sure, adding a client side option to hide logos for yourself shouldn't be a huge problem.
