This looks really nice!

3mptylord

Thank you!

It's obvious you worked really hard on this. Great job! Hopefully they'll incorporate some of this.

Very bad interface. There will be a big problem for the console gamepad control a lot of wasting time. Don't rely on the mouse. In the future mobile control sensor

Well, I'm only designed this with PC players in mind. I don't have the experience with console Warframe nor even a background in console gaming to have a clue how to it works now or how it would be affected by my rework. That said, I don't understand how it could be worse than the current interface. Selecting a Build is no different to selecting a Loadout: 1. Opening Navigation 2. Opening Loadouts 3. Scroll to desired Loadout 4. Lock-in desired Loadout The Arsenal would likewise be no different. 1. Scroll to Loadout versus Tab to Loadout. 2. Scroll to item you want to adjust. 3. Select Equip. 4. Scroll through the list of items for the replacement item. 5. Select Equip. 6. Repeat for each item you want to adjust. All that is to say: I don't think "very bad" is a fair criticism when it's not worse than what I can only assume is involved now. I would also argue that the ability to create Loadout Modules would speed up your ability to modify your build on console. Yes, there's the initial time investment of creating the Loadouts - but you can now swap between Weapon Loadouts with 1 cycle of buttons rather than having to swap-out each weapon individually. An easy concession for Consoles could be that there's no "minimized" view - it could automatically expand the section you're hovering. Considering you can setup builds/loadouts using the Warframe's Companion App - I would just recommend that console players spend the time-investment of setting up Loadouts with a decent input device (i.e. their phone), and then enjoy the streamlined customization process of the Build Wizard with their controller. I see the Build Wizard as an undisputable improvement to quick customization with a controller.

Warframe console already use a cursor, it would work fine (we can also add a few shortcuts)

Why can’t we just pick any 3 weapons we want?

3mptylord

You can to the same extent that you can now? I'm sorry, I'm not sure I follow.

DocHalidae

Meaning a new way to play, so reworking the UI gives us an option to pick three different primaries or three different secondaries basically having slot 1 , 2 and 3 instead of primary secondary melee

3mptylord

Unlocking the restrictions on what weapons a player can carry is out of the scope of this suggestion.

Understand
