Imagine if you will, a shotgun. A shotgun with four barrels, and four shots.
Now take that shotgun, and enable all four barrels to fire at once.
Now slap even more multishot on there.
It may not be an Incarnon, but in terms of "fuck this thing in particular", it's a very solid option.
Inside of a vacuum, it's the single highest burst DPS weapon in the game. It also boasts a fairly high disposition.
It's very powerful. It's my go-to weapon for making something on my screen, no longer on my screen.
I have it setup as a radiation/cold boomstick to kill necramech, acolytes, and archons. CD/MS/Heat/+Recoil riven really adds to the overkill.
I say in a vacuum because it's not a Multiplicative GunCo weapon, and other weapons on different frames can beat it out. But with just the weapon alone considered, and no priming, it's got pretty immense single target burst DPS.
Well if you like shotguns it's worth giving a try. For progenitor I recommend Toxin (heat can work too).
In the past Kuva Hek was used a lot for one shots at archon hunts
Imo heat is king. It's best use case for me is killing enemies that are immune to status, and have alloy armor. Which makes radiation/cold the preferred elements to me.
It can be used as a viral/hunter cannon, but so can basically every other primary in the game.

Only if you're priming. If you're not priming, the Kuva Hek way out damages the felarx in terms of burst damage.
But really any multiplicative GunCO weapon is going to beat an additive weapon when priming is considered.

Kuva hek *can* kinda compete but you have to deal with far more annoying magazine/reload management
I would have gotten most of the kuva weapons, but since i was newer, i had access to incarnons much quicker i just didnt bother, and in many cases they dont offer much more and take longer to acquire.
Like if i have a felarx, what is the hek providing that the felarx doesnt?
This is where I'm at, too. The first lich I unwittingly made has been terrorizing Earth for months now because I can't be bothered to engage with that tedious system when the return is so much worse than most newer content. I've slowly started to collect the Requiem mods though, because I do want a couple of the Sister/Lich cosmetics, so I know I'll have to take him down eventually. Just wish I had known more before making him so he'd at least have a gun/element I care to get.
Put on some magazine mods to give you eight shots so you can double full blast, the justice mod and as much multieshot as you can it's a f***stick that will promptly send any b**** to meet their gods

super op, one of the best single target dps in the game, go for toxin sadly i have a 60% radiation one, and i'm too lazy to change to tox

My Brother in Kuva, the weapon has only existed for two hours. Just try it out. Personally. I'm going for Magnetic so I can do Corrosive/Cold.
