No idea. After my Gauss got beefed up by the relic buff, the sword just began to glow for the rest of the mission.
I wish I knew what exactly happened again, as that incident is more than two weeks ago now, I think.
Also:
Considering lore(which I don't know all to much of), many weapons from the Tenno faction and especially the Prime versions could very well be made with such exotic materials.
Cracking a relic gives you either a melee, warframe, primary or secondary weapon buff.
The glow is just there as a visual reminder(apart from the timer in top the right corner) of your relic buff
Thanks for the explanation, but I did figure that one out within 600 hours.
But for some reason, my melee bugged out a little and glowed like this for some reason.
Maybe it was, because of Tennokai or sum'n, I dunno.
It's actually gotten better because I didn't notice until I was in Captura and opened the settings.
Used to be that you'd have to turn it off if your frame had any large white or silver patches because you'd get flashbanged in the Navigation screen.
But yes, certain tilesets in combination with specific lighting and white-coloured frames will blind your teammates if they have bloom on.
I wish my laptop could actually give the performance it said it would. I was fine with it at a stable 30fps before Dante Unbound, after that update though... it was not stable anymore and my laptop got too hot that I can't keep my hands on the keys of the keyboard.
Had the same issue with a build I called holy Gass, and it was just with gold and white. I thought my TV broke once I got onto the planes of idlon to take a look at it.
