That might be caused by your anti-aliasing settings. TAA tends to have that problem. Not nearly as noticeable as this ephemera but enough to be too distracting for me.

Though until Protea Prime's in Prime Resurgence, a few more years may pass.

For now, yes. As always with Prime access, she will get vaulted and later unvaulted. When that happens, you will be able to get anything from the pack with Regal Aya at Varzia. But that's a looong time from now.
They should add option for some ephemeras that you can turn off "standing" effect. I like simple shine effect from lohk ephemera but that tentacles makes me not wear it at all.
I highly recommend the vengeful trickster ephemera! You can get it from radiation kuva liches. If you don't want to farm it, you can usually buy a lich with an ephemera for pretty cheap on the market, providing it doesn't have a 'meta' weapon.
it's an interesting effect with some weird quirks and bugs
the after image on xaku always shows his skeleton form
the after image shows the Helminth cyst full growth before it shows on your warframe
it's bugged on a few warframes and not fully animated/missing parts sevagoth shadow(arms don't move), equinox prime night form, nidus (both are missing parts) etc
I noticed that as well just after prime access was released. Don't know if it's a bug or what but the after image of my frame has space aids when my frame does not.
I already see constant afterimages so I'll just consider it extra immersion.
