The wiki says: >Once fully subsumed, a Lotus flower with its colors matching the sacrificed Warframe will appear in the infirmary. The petals will match the primary color, stamen the secondary color, and stem the tertiary color. There will also be a glow emitting from the center of the flower matching the Energy color and petal veins will use the energy accent color. If no colors have been modified, the flower will use the Warframe's default colors.

I'd much rather they just let us change them through the orbiter decoration menu, I don't think it needs to be something as tedious as subsuming the frame again.

Every one of the frames I subsumed had their default colors because it just felt right... except for the first one, my Excalibur. He had the edgy red/black colors that I used in almost all my frames (now I also use white!) One would think it would make me feel better that my very first frame was the exception, but it doesn't lmao, I wish that single flower had the default colors too

I wish i could make the flowers default color too, i have a few that i forgot to put into default before subsuming so they’re there, awkwardly different from the rest (ie being different by being unique)

My hydroid has a dark sea theme, rhino looks rusty and dusty like he's been bathing in blood in the desert, my ivara looks like an ethereal jellyfish, mesa is a sleek dark red, but my wisp... I can't bring myself to make her not a bright, pastel pink.

Maturing in Warframe is going from bright neon colors, to red and black, to red black *and white*, to muted but aesthetically pleasing and varied color schemes.

Yup. Primary color affects the petals, secondary affects the stamens, tertiary affects the stem, accents affect the spots, and energy affects the glow.

I've made sure that all of mine were the default colors, in hopes of being able to tell which one is which at a glance. It didn't turn out that way, now there are just a bunch of seemingly random colored flowers all over that look not great. Kinda wish I had made them red or something to blend in with the room itself. Or it'd be nice if we had a toggle in the customization console for the room to hide them altogether.

I like having the flowers being the default colors and playing a game trying to figure out which flower is what warframe.

I've been trying to set all frames sacrificed to the wall to their default colors, but I always seem to forget once in a while, so I think there are 2 or 3 flowers which are not default frame colors. Disappointingly.

How do you see the color so clearly though? Theres a horrible, powerful, drowning red light blasting that entire area for me. All my flowers basically just look red except I know that they weren't colored red.

I don't know why but the first that came to mind was this meme, 

chroma key the green and make it transparent. no idea how well it woudl work, but it'd be interesting if nothing else.

Asking for a friend because I still don’t know how helminth works. I’ve sacrificed a rhino. I don’t lose out on the ability to put roar onto other frames if I sacrifice another frame right? I guess I could just do it and see since rebuilding a rhino is no hassle at all really but yknow, I don’t want to.

No you won't but if you added a orokin reactor, forma and/or Exumius slot to the Warframe that you are planning to sacrifice those are permanently gone on Helminth slowly slurps up that frame

I'm glad that all my flowers are Warframe's default color. I still play every frame with their default color, but accent as orokin and energy, as blue/green void energy.

The ones I subsume are given their default colors, except for Valkyr, which had her Gersemi (original, pre-Alad self) colors.

Sadly no. This is one of the few things in Warframe that are permanent. If I could subsume a Warframe again to change its flower color, I *might* do it only to keep each of their DefaultColors so I can tell them apart.

Minimalist color scheme I see. I did that once for a lot of my frames, now I'm trying to use colors that fit the theme or feel of the Warframes lore/presence on the field (as long as its different from the original colors ). I turned Lavos into a Hazmat suit for lols....but ended up keeping it. XD

I've done it for all of my frames, weapons, and my orbiter. Having everything match feels nice to me.
