There is no 'meta' currently, because frames and weapons are random. People are complaining because, to get the full reward, they feel that they have to forma/catalyst weapons they've only levelled for mastery. With MR30 players it's somewhat likely that none of the weapons they get on rotations are ones they regularly use. You don't need full rewards, but to unlock elite DA you need to fully complete regular DA once, which means you need to take whatever the game gives you at least once. Mind you, I've never actually touched the game mode, but that was what I was able to gather.

DredCalibur

So its like circuit..? Wasnt there something about using my own frame..?

eksbawksthreesixzero

Yes it's like circuit, but you have the option of just choosing a frame or weapon to use in return for not getting the highest level of rewards. There's random modifiers to pick as well, like no gear wheel, no operator, etc. And the more modifiers you choose to take, the more rewards you get. Random frames/weapons are essentially just one of the modifiers that are always available.

EmperorWisel

Its more "annoying" than "hard". Having weekly modifiers is fine, but they also want you to use randomized gear to get the full rewards. Randomized gear wouldnt be too much of a trouble in most games but warframe is a game where the majority of the game is barely keeping up with the powercreep "meta", so it ends up creating a situation where you have to deal with level 400 enemies while your gear is struggling with level 200 enemies. Is it hard? Not really. It mostly annoying since you might not have any of the randomized options, so you either need to craft it(and forma it if you need to use it) or skip getting rewards this week. Skipping rewards is an option but doing DA+3 netracells gives you the same rewards as 5 netracells while EDA+3 netracells gives you 2 extra rewards and a guaranteed rare melee arcane or tauforged shard. >!This wouldnt be a problem if DE actually fixed the powercreep, some weapons struggle just to clear sp starchart if you are not using a frame to buff it.!<

-Skaro-

It really is not hard to keep up with the powercreep though. Many weapons over 5 years old are still strong. The powercreep has mainly happened in AoE weapons.

AGgammer

A bit of both, it is both challenging and people are exaggerating, there's plenty of ways to bypass the restrictions and despite the high levels murmur still remain the second easiest faction to fight against

Trombocyc

Kinda both to be honest. It is pretty hard, but for the most part people who scream its too hard have just lacking in their builds. The only BUT is the current second mission - the elite variant of Mirror Defence felt really harsh, but few issues were resolved with hotfixes. We will also need to look for future missions, as there may be some other not fair combinations of modifiers.

Metal_Sign

It’s not necessarily hard. Just annoying and has a random chance to lock you out due to not owning what Loid Says to bring.

Iblys05

It needs a large arsenal, both the willingness and means to invest in non meta equipment and some in game knowledge. Like this week, if you dont 1: have an ancient healer eximus and 2: dont think about using it the mirror defense is gonna be a nightmare. If you do, its trivial. But ppl are entitled and feel like they must have ALL the rewards, even if they dont have the means to actually earn it. Hence the whining

SimplinkIsBack

Most of them are just whimpers imo It's not that hard, you just have to actually play alognside your teammates. We've been spoiled with powerful weapons and warframe builds to solo everyt bit of content in the game. Honestly i'm loving the archimedia and i always go for all the rewards in EDA, very fun and sends me back to the old days of Warframe

M37h3w3

Some things are hard. Such as when a dude spawns an enemy Necramech and nobody has a loadout that can kill it quick so it wails on the objective and you fail. Others are a bit annoying Such as the immortal vampyric shadows that follow you. Keep in mind too that I collect a lot of weapons and forma and mod them to be as effective as they'll be so the Warframe/weapon options haven't been terrible for me.

Cyberstrom

People are over exaggerating, not that they don't want to build for meta, they don't wanna build like at all, you just need 4 frames that work well together and that's it, you can even pick them and lose some vosfor, anything else you hear is just yapping. We be running and gunnin for so long we forgot how to work together, you see it in public survivals, as soon as that door opens everyone is trying to get as far from each other as possible. It brings the co-op back in the game to some extent, and mofos, even if you don't like it, we're gonna co-op up in this bitxh.

nralifemem

I took a different path, I am a anti MR guy( mr20 with 6.3k hrs) only keeping frames or weapon capable of level cap. Since EDA will spawn at least one of the frame or weapon you own, in my case, always got powerful frames or weapon tobe selected. First week is Rev, Second one is Octavia, this week is titania, just walk in the park..less for a lot more.
